  1. What improvments or new features would you lie to see in mobiles into the future? I know people who feel that thier phone is there life and want so many features. Would you like to see them get smaller or go back to bigger versions? I guess there are some trade people out there that i know have fearly big hands and find it hard to push small little numbers! :)

    Notice from BuffaloHELP:
Edited topic title to fit the forum's TOS

  2. Happy Birthday Guevara.Well, i have an uncle who knows to consume it by the slabs :)....but i don;t like drinking it either, i don't mind a few drinks here and there. I'll get smashed at my 18th in March and New Years, but other then that. No Way!Plus its illegal here until your 18 to buy it :D

  3. :) Just be glad that you have a girl, most people out there don't. I must admit that you are very caring of your parents, i know alot of people would just go and leave them. Isn't there really any other ralitives out there can looka fter them. Why must it be you?...You the only one that cares for them, its quite 'sad' to here that you have to give something up though....Best of Luck, and remember, least you have one! :D:D

  4. Me being so interested in technology and just lazy, i am keen to get into house systems and futristic cars, and the like. Phones in the future may be cheaper and more availble in areas. but i just want to see the world cleaned up abit enviromentally. What would you like to see invented? What would you like to see changed? How would you change the world if you knew how?Another interesting topic will be how people will think websites will look 10 years down the track, if you look at websites now compared to the 'older' generation of websites, we have come along long way. So what will happen?..I like listening to peoples opinion! and helping!

  5. Thanks Yipster, Its what i thought someone would say that about the scrolling and blank areas, and maybe just get rid of them. I thought maybe they wouldn;t be that bad. but i got a few comments about. :D mmm...Do you have a suggestion as to where i could move them too?You idea of the 'menu' being on the left not the right, thats what i like too, but sadly, due to the design of the website building system, we have set templates we can only choose from :D...but i think i can try! :)....Thanks again...

  6. MaxiVista is a program that will in short terms increase the size of your screen area, not enlarge your 'already' screen. you can have programs like Dreamweaver, GIMP and Photoshop etc. that have panels that are on your canvas, able to be displayed on another screen.

This is good for those people who may also like to show movies on a larger area of screens are certain times. Like most good programs around it is not free. There is however a trail version available for download.

  7. :) Theres alot of Buzz about everything in this world of technology we are in, but the fact is it all depends on your needs, as with everything. If you have high security needs, don;t go anywhere near Internet Explorer. But if you need simplity and understanding, internet explorer isn't that bad.Do a weigh up of the different features and uses of the browser and make a decision, if it don;t work out, its not really that hard to swap over, unless your got a thousand favs, and alot of stuff. I also thought there was already a topic going on this, but anyway.

  8. OK, I am in the Australian air Force Cadets and as lovely as my computer skills are, i'm not the best on wed design and so forth...

Take alook HERE, for my 'Units' website for which i am the webmaster. I'm getting better at layout concepts.

Problem being that these sites can only be made using like a web builder that was designed for us (Australian Defence Force Cadets), so i am alittle restricted on what i can do, but any general comments would be helpful.

I'm looking for how the site would look to someone who is coming in for a look not knowing how we are or anything and looking for general information, and not get distracted by colours and layout, long story short, how to improve it visually, to make it inviting.

    Thanks heaps,

  9. You will find alot o people out there who just don;t like Google, for some stupid reason. The day Google trun into another microsoft, will be the day i find my grave. Otherwords, lets hope it don't happen. As for Ask Jeeves, it is a very very basic form of Google i believe, and is heading the same way as yahoo, a page with one little serch box, and thousands of ads everywhere. Google is a slick clean design page.

  10. Transporters....Everyhome should own one now.. :D So maybe we won;t even have cars, well we don't like flying cars then so i guess people ain't going to like that idea too much. But think of flying cars, you could park them on your roof top at parties, solves the parking problem. :) If they can develop a car to run on electrcity for a long enough amount of time without having to recharge, then maybe life will beome alot cleaner and smoother.

  11. As we know cars have evolved hugely since the beginning of the time, and we are seeing bigger and bigger debates about the enviroment factors and there look and feel. Here are a few ways in which they may imporve, what do you think?

Building cheaper and better cars, by building atom by atom...

Researchers are finding ways to make vehicles safer, lighter, more powerful ? and ultimately less expensive ? by building materials one atom at a time.

Nanotechnology, which involves working at a scale more than 1,000 times smaller than the width of a human hair, is about to revolutionize the way cars are built and driven.

What about the design of a car, it may be the future, but people will still like to look 'Cool'...So what designs would you like to see?...

Concept cars range from the futuristic to the retro, the wild and whacky to the just plain silly. Innovative design is now a major driving force in the automotive industry and many of the mock-up models on show at the NEC will find their way into full-scale production. And Britain is leading the way. Al Clarke, head of communications for the Society for Motoring Manufacturers and traders, said British designers were among the best around the world.

One thing i find so very interesting is an acticle i found on how Video games influence the design of a car. Would this be turning our earth into another Grand Theft Auto as stated by the acticle HERE, It will be interesting to see just how it turns out.

Also what will be added to our cars in the furtire to help us drive, maybe even not drive and just sit back and enjoy the ride. I guess most people fear the problem of getting into a robot car, and haveing something happen that the driver (Robot), cannot think about and end up crashing and worst case, ending your life. :)

So what do you think will happen with future cars, or even transport in general, would you be willing to jump right behind the wheel of one of these futuristic cars?

What about flying cars?, What do you thing, i say whats the point, you may as well own a plane and fly it around. Maybe we will turn into 'The Sixth Element' kind of world. Who knows, What do you think?

  12. The real point is, do we as humans really need all this new technology to live life?As was said,

    Fat and 200 years average

imagine what the population will be like having on average more babies, meaning more people, with less dieing. If you look at the big picture, now is just the right consistancey. And were still lazy with all the gamming systems, and factory machines.

  13. As moderators what stance do you take on Signature blocks?...What rules do you have to enforce one them?

I don't know about anyone else but i'm sick and tired of going through pages, only to find signature blocks taking up half the page. :D

If you look at this Bulletin Board HERE, then you can see we have striter i beleive then here on signature blocks, and it easier to follow...and members, mods and admin all follow these rules. :D:) ....I'm just wondering the moderating-admin point of viw on this?

By the way, I'm fairly impressed with the moderating team, but do you guys have a guide that you go by, as to what you accept and don't. The way i see it, one moderator could see something as ok, and another as not, its double standards, so how do you guys over come this?
