Gmail's speed is not dependant on your connection's speed. It is solely dependant on the server's speed and how much Spam and emails it is handling. I know personally, that my school's email provider (https://www.gaggle.net/) handles emails like a charm, even with spam. I personally believe because gmail is currently free, but invite-able, their servers are not upgraded to handle the massive pressure.Most likely if we keep up inviting more people, it will cost us more when google becomes open to have that 1 gig and big attachment space.Remember Kids, Google is Big Brother, with it's year 2032 cookie. Very true it is their first online game, but I don't believe that matters.To my knowledge, FFXI was Square Enix's first online game (I am probably wrong.) and it's a decent hit. :(But to me it's the ideas, not the graphics that matter... even though that's included too!

However, uni.cc domains can be clumsy, and well, quite unreliable. I believe .tk are not free, whereas uni.cc are. Although, Xisto.com subdomains are the most reliable, as generally as long as they are up, your hosted pages are too.

I share your pain. PHP to me isn't easy to learn, I understand the basic commands, but to me there's no user friendly sites out there that in-depth tell you to make a project with PHP, that way you can apply what you learn. You know? Tutorials are nice, but those are just big globs of information which to me, frankly, have no point.
