Come on guys, be nice. Others have opinions too.Anyway, I personally like Halo, but I can understand it. (I do not play online) When there are 20-50 enemies on my screen, I do lag rather badly. (I flipped the warthog over in the Second Scenerio and killed 2 Marines.) Although, I would personally look for a different game if you're going FPS, like Army of America or Socom. It's all in what you like really, if you like Sci-fi, go Halo. If you like the more down to earth games (FPS and Down to Earth don't go together...) play something like I mentioned above. A good mix of these of probably Soldier of Fortune 2.

Yes, I've tried that too. I've tried just about everything imaginable, with a basic comprehension of the file transfer protocol. I am also using the default port 21 of SmartFTP.(Thanks for the suggestion anyway though, wassie. )

Please don't post useless spam. It's very annoying and wastes everyone's time, it also wastes database space, normal file space and bandwidth on the server. It also wastes other's time to read it. Well, I've been trying to log on to my FTP, so I could upload my phpBB boards, yet everytime I try I get something like No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.[/br] Cannot login waiting to retry (30s)... I am using ftp.zenchisama.trap17.com as my FTP address, zenchi as my username and my CPanel Password as my password. Also, I tried making an FTP account with full permissions through the CPanel (Triple X's advice.) and logging in with that. (FYI, I posted this here because I can't access the hosted member's area.)

Have you tried going to the Control Panel -> Add/remove Hardware, then uninstalling it, and reinstalling the drivers? Other then that, best thing I can tell you is buy a new CD-Rom drive.

I am afraid that the firewall couldn't get rid of all spyware. Firewalls aren't supposed to get rid of adware. I know for a fact that Norton Antivirus can, but it takes such a bloody long time. Let me explain something about SP2's firewall. It will eventually be outdated, and personally I don't see Microsoft turning out many updates for it. That's why I'm going to eventually have to go back to Symantec.

65 degrees celcius is bery abnormal.. You might consider buying more cooling units. Another 400 degrees and you can melt steel witht he thing.

Get a program that wipes your disk clean, have an operating system disc. Pop it in, reformat... and there you go. :PIf that doesn't work, you may consider trashing the computer.
