Upload and download is relative. When you upload something to the server, the server is downloading from you. You question about 'What is upload speed?': It is how much fast a connection/machine can send out data. Your following statement: is rather ambigious. In different context it can mean different things. It can be used when talking about ISPs, programs and a whole list more. But in this case, I'll assume you are talking about Xisto downloading data from you. Personally, FTP for me is very slow. I get extremely low speeds. What I suggest is that you log into cPanel and use the File Manager there to help you upload big files. It puzzles me to why the speeds are so slow for FTP, but I noticed that this trend is common in other hosts too. -Shackman

I think you guys know too, about the latest mass e-mail admin sent with the title " Your Xisto.com Account Deleted! " Wow..admin, that really had me scared! I was like 'Oh *BLEEP*! What happened?' and my heart sank. I dared not open the e-mail until a few minutes later when I mustered the courage to open it up. To my sweet relieve, it was all a joke. But admin, that was really too scary. Don't do that in future okay? By the way, the e-mail's main content is to request that members put http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ as their homepage. I played it before. I did not really like it though. Maybe it just does not suit me. However, quite a number of my friends had good words for it. I prefer C&C as a RTS. Renegade is just a little to queer for me to swallow. Anyway, what do you guys think? Is the C&C RTS better or C&C Renegade FPS better?

AVG is quite good. I am currently using it now. It detects most viruses and is reliable. However, the only complaint I have is that bad user interface and the frequent updates needed to keep it working flawlessly.

Basically I tihnk you have 3 problems.There are:SpywareHard Disk Issue(Fragmentation probably?)Hardware conflictAs it is reknown, spyware causes your computer to operate at a sluggish rate. You would probably have to get a spyware remover such as Ad-Ware(dun get tricked by the name, its an anti spyware program).You may experice hard disk fragmentation if you use your hard disk alot, like installing games, transferring files and such. however, you mentioned that its a new com, so I don't know if this info will help you.Lastly, if your computer was self-assembled, it could be a cause of hardware conflicts, especially if you buy generic computer parts. To solve this problem, you sohuld take out each piece of hardware and slowly eliminate the problem(bad hardware). you might also want to try updating your drivers before doing that.Best of luckShackman

Ermm...last movie Anyway, mine is Jackie Chan's New Police Story. Its really a smasher. For anyone who has a high movie standard, you won't be disappointed. Although it is in Chinese, there are English subtitles...anyway, you guys should consider picking up Chinese . Its a growing language. Movies these days are getting very boring over here in Sg...any recommendations?
