  1. Clicksor is cool...but I think Adsense is better. Adbrite comes just after adsense. Adsense pays very well, but the only thing is that the cash out is $100...so it will tkae quite some time...but no problem if you have a high traffic website.Adsense pays quite a lot of certain keywords...especially for computer related terms. Each click may pay you up to a few dollars....well worth it.Adbrite pay slightly lesser, but still pays. I recievmy check from adbrite today...so I'm sure it is well not a scam. Clicksor...haven't tried it out yet...to be honest....but i'm sure it is quite good too....-Shackman
  2. I like the site. I think the design is very professional...very cool. I don't know if you used any script to do this site up....but for one thing...it really looks nice. And yes, the website loads very fast, as mentioned by one of the previous posters. Now...the main part of your site....the pictures. I like them very much. Most of them are very artistic and well taken. Are you a professional photographer? Anyway...the whole thing looks very cool.I especially like the photo 'Path' from your gallery. Did you really take that yourself? Very nicely taken...!-Shackman
  3. I like Pay Pal.....its user interface seems more professional...and site too.....than E-gold. I haven't tried out the other options yet...but in my comparison between pay pal and e-gold...i would choose pay pal....Having a more professional means that at least...the company is financially stable and strong enough to engage a good design team...which means...it is less likely to be a scam or cheat....or fall...I mean, which scammer would invest hundreds of dollars into his site just to scam for your bits of cash?Even so, pay pal has existed for a very long time...as in a few years...so its reputation is there. There are some sites i know of that say pay pal 'sucks'...but really....if you look closely, they are just trying to promote their (the company who set up the website) payment method.Seriously....the most safest way would be check...if for a big amount of money, or t/t...Unless you bank scams you...that is another story...-Shackman
  4. Hmm....this nifty tool is goood for comparing results, like maybe your page rank for your website in a yahoo and google for a certain keyword. However, it takes up too much screenspace....so it would not be good and practical for everyday searching.I would prefer to do it in 2 tabs...with reference to mozilla firefox internet browser....but for comparing results, Yahoohoogle can be quite effecient.Interesting idea I must say....but there's a logo 'Tiwn Engine' at the top. Is this website owned by any certain company?-Shackman
  5. Firefox is definitely the choice internet browser.....for me.....at least...well....not too sure about you guys though....You sell....Firefox...in the first place...has a name for being better than Internet Explorer. Not that my opinion is based on public's opinion...just that... that many people...can't go wrong....or is hard to go wrong. If you can cheat one person, you can't cheat the whole world. So firstly...yeah...reputation...way better than Internet explorer..Lets go into the finer details. In my opinion, Firefox is way more secure and safer than Internet Explorer. Why? Firefox has better control over what stuff are displayed. It has a built in pop-up blocker and it restricts a lot of ActiveX controls...if not all. It also restricts the webpage from running malicious process in the background. Not that Firefox is 100% of all this, but it does do a better job than Internet Explorer in this. Internet Explorere's pop-up blocker and ActiveX control restricter....and so on...are often ineffective. For me, they always failt o block the malicious pop-ups and codes...but never fail to block and restrict pop-ups that I need. Okay...not always...but most of the time.....Really.....Firefox is open source too...you can take a look at the code if you want to. Comparing all these points....I really think Mozilla Firefox beat Microsoft Internet Explorer hands down.Sorry to all those Microsoft fans out there!-Shackman
  6. Woah....this is cool...nice post. I quite like it. I tried this out...and it is true!! it really did help me to boost the spped that the internet webpages load.....really cool... I think it should not be much of a problem to webmasters....because no matter if you have 1 or 5 connections, the same amount of data gets transferred to the client anyway...it is just a matter of time......so bandwidth should not be a problem. The only problem I see is that is the server strain or aka server load. If the website is a very popular website...where it recieves thousands of hits every day....not the common website, and it each client who loads the webpage has 5 simultanious connections at the same time....whoah...it is going to be 5 times more server load for the server at that instant......Yeah....so the webmaster should only be worried about his server crashing, stability issues and other problems related to reliability.....not so much on bandwidth....... If your webpage loads much faster.....your visitors will much be happier....and have a good experience at your site.....the webmaster should...a common one....should be happy instead......right guys????? okay...anyway...if any comments on this post...please feel free to voice them out...! -Shackman
  7. Woah....!!This is way too cool. I think Yahoo! must have bought a hundred over new servers just to increase the inbox space.....but like the above poster said, who's complaining?I agree quite well with the above poster....we have got free web hosting...free...quality e-mail....free domain names/redirection.....who knows...maybe .com domains will go for 2 bucks a year...This is great news for all Yahoo e-mail users. 3 cheers!-Shackman
  8. Are these Japanese books or are they just English books written by Japanese authors? Sounds quite interesting. I might make a trip to the library if they arn't in Japanese. -Shackman
  9. They earn money though advertising and selling refferals.Advertising by selling the banner space on the top of the frame when you query a search.Refferals by selling you a refferal for 3 bucks.....so you can supposly earn more....All these are found on the webpage itself.-Shackman
  10. I think the most idiotic thing is that they always say 'God loves you/me' or 'God will forgive you'.I mean....have they ever seen the Lord? Okay....there are stories about how God has touched someone during a prayer or a near-death encounter with a white figure that saved them.....If you do good on Earth to be rewarded in heaven by God, I think the whole concept of 'GOOD' is all mixed up....seriously mixed up..... And if you do not do bad just because you are afraid to be sent to Hell or 'punished by God'.....another seriously mixed up concept. They always praise the Lord and claim that anything good that happens to them is 'by the grace of God' and anything bad is 'a punishment from God/Heaven for defying him'.I would not say Chistianity is dumb.....maybe it is just that I have not fully understood it yet....-Shackman
  11. Yeah..very interesting essay...although a little short. Wished it could have been longer. I guess this is somesort of a personal reflection than a composition?Really enjoyed reading it. I read your second one too...but I commented in this thread anyway. What country are you originally from? How different is life in Japan from your home country? What subjects do you teach?Don't really have to asswer them though....just thought it would be interesting to know.-Shackman
  12. Same here...I don't think google has that much of space...especially since the gmail inbox is still increasing now...I think...well..suspect....that this might mark the end of gmail....remember gmail is still in Beta phrase? The devs could probably increase the inbox space to 3 gigs or something and say....we have decided to end gmail...or something...and if you want to continue on...you will have to pay a monthly or regular fee...just like any paid e-mail service.......It would be sad...you know....especially since gmail is well received by most people...even my dad uses GMail...Well...a guess.....but not necessary to be true...and I HOPE it does not turn out to be true...-Shackman
  13. Anyway...if the link above can't work, use this link: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ -Shackman
  14. I think it would be a very good idead cause you know....the Earth is over populating and I am suer the human race will appriciate more space.Space to grow rice....space to build homes...space to build schools. Spaces can be used to do a lot of things. We are currently ahve a rice shortage....if you guys don't know because the world's population is...as I said....too much for the Earth to handle...It is estimated that the Earth's natural gas will run out in about twenty to thirty years time...at this rate.By that time...we have no choice but to move to the moon.....and leave the Earth for purely planting...agriculture....and farming.....Scary...but it is really true. Who knows though...-Shackman
  15. haha...thanks guys...Other than Fruitloops, is there any other free programs that can be used to electronically add in sounds such as beats or instrumental souds...like the guitar or piano?-Shackman
  16. I don't know if Yahoo has this features...but this feature Google has is pretty interesting...gave me quite an info about who is linking to me...thanks for this infomation...-Shackman
  17. Yeah...i tihnk Dell is the best comptuer company so far...They advertise a lot in my country and maybe you can called it me being bought over by the advertistments...but I certainly think that it is the best.-Shackman
  18. Dreamweaver is definitely the best web designing software around...it is professional and easy to use...Frontpage is more for basic and personal homepages. Frontpage is quite flexible, but lacks advanced features...Dreamweaver is the best program u can use for a professional website....(maybe not the best, but one of the best....)However, I think it is more of a personal choice you know....some prefer Frontpage, and some prefer Dreamweaver...but if you are making a eprsonal homepage....using both software does not really matter.....really...!Good luck using both of them......!-Shackman
  19. Umm...rustypaulin...what's the point of you posting the whole quote of books you can get when I sign up....??Anyway...don't double post....edit your post if there is anytihng to add...This is the first warning. I will delete any other spam psots you make.-Shackman

  21. I think computers will be obselute........everyone will have chips implanted in them or something...and everything is assesible form there.......wireless network will probably connect all the chips in the world...and you can make a phone call by just thinking of the person you want to call.....Who knows...internet may be free.-Shackman
  22. I use AVG anti virus. I think it is quite good....so far. BUt the only irritating thing is that the updating is really irritating....-Shackman
  23. wow..this is intereseting....I've got a DVD player at home too..but I've no ideea what types of DVDs it can play. But seriously...I would really feel better if I bought a multi region DVD player than H**ked mine...Well...it's up to moral now....(maybe the world 'moral' may be debatable)-Shackman
  24. Windows media players from microsoft looks more nicer...I prefer it. But I use winamp too. Winamp uses less system resources and it is quite effecient......but for the eye candy...and those who like a nice interfact, like me...I would prefer windows media player. I don't mind paying the system resoruces.-Shackman
  25. hahaha.. I really like this one. I wonder how long the creator must have took to make 200 alerts......5 minutes or 2 days? lol.. -Shackman
