  1. I'm not a drinking person, but I admit I drink once in a while... Maybe in a party or such... What I love the most is a drink that's made here in my country, a mix with fanta orange soda and beer, have you tried it? here it's called Fanshop, and it's cheap and tasty, heheheheh.I like Strawberry Daiquiri and Margarita too=)
  2. To me, the music has been everything... It's there when I need to forget about the world... And then it's there when I need to recall happy moments. The music has the power to make you travel back in time... For better or worse. It helps to heal wounds, to make you smile, to make you cry.My tastes in music are very wide. It depends a lot of the moment I'm living... if I'm happy, sad, angry etc.I started to love music very young, at age of 3 I made my first own song, really! I barely could speak but I made a song... It was about a butterfly. Lol... Well... I've wrote a lot of songs in my life and I love to sing... But I never thought of making a career of it. For me the music is so intimate, so personal that I can't see myself "selling" my soul. =)Thanks for starting this topic... I love to talk about the music.
  3. I'm totally agree with jullaby. Some people starts to think there's no need to keep the love alive, because they think they'll never lose each other. I think that the worst someone can do. It may cause infidelity and things like that... And lost a relationship that with proper care, would last forever
  4. I think people are overreacting about this. It is a new virus, that's true. But it's not as mortal as other viruses - even Seasonal Flu is more dangerous. Let's put it this way: In my country seasonal flu kills 3,000- 4,000 humanbeings every winter. This year influenza a h1n1 has killed 26 persons, and we're in the middle of winter. Nobody talks about the seasonal flu victims because those news don't sell - unlike swine flu news. Now, I'm sure this virus is something to be careful of - specially if have a Chronic disease (My mother is hypertensive so she has to be specially careful, but not only with swine flu, but seasonal influenza too)I think we have to be alert but relaxed. Swine flu is killing about the 0,2% - 0,5% of the Infected persons. the other 99,5% is doing fine (including myself) (lol) If we go to the doc at the right time, we'll be safe. Just let's pray that the second wave of this virus won't be more letal... =) But anyways... Thank god there will be a vaccine available by then. So don't panic... It's not apocalypse yet
  5. as far as I know black holes do exist. These things are "pieces" of space. their gravitational field is really strong, so strong that nothing can escape from them. I don't know much - Just what I've learn from school, but like I said, as far as I know they exist, but scientists are still studying them. (I've heard they are trying to figure out if you can travel in time through them)I remember last year I red about a particle accelerator, the LHC, which started to operate on September (2008). Some people said that it could cause a blach hole that could eat the whole earth- and all of us too - I don't know if it can be true, but I couldn't sleep in days hahaha
  6. I brush my teeth 3 or 4 times. when I wake up, after breakfast, after lunch and before bed. This is a strange topic lol, it's like "how many times you wash your hands" hehehe Funny.
  7. Humm... It sounds like a lucid dream to me. I'll tell you something... I've had similar experiences, and I started to ask people about it, and someone explain me that this is similar to that dream we all have about falling. In this case you can't wake up.Other people says that happen when you're about to cross the threshold into the astral world.I've read a lot about astral experiences since then... It's very interesting.Anyways I think it would be good if you see a doctor. but I think it's a lucid dream... If you can control it, you can actually have a lot of fun=)
  8. I thought of no replying this because the subject touch a very sad place of my heart, but I'm replying anyways because maybe I can help.My best friend commited suicide when he was 13. (I was 12) It was shocking, I even felt mad at him for several weeks because of what he did... And then week passed by and I started to feel mad at myseld because I felt I could do something, but I just didn't.He never showed a sing that he was commiting suicide - though I knew he had a lot of family issues - but I never thought he would. You have that first step : You know your friend would. What I feel it's nessesary in this cases is to listen them, be with your friend, show him you care - That's important. When a person thinks about suicide it's because they feel they doesn't matter at all. Show them you care and they are important to you.Next thing: try to convince your friend to look for professional help. And if you can't then talk to their partents. Tell them they better do something because they're actually losing their son. He'll be fine. Just have faith and help him.God bless you for being such a caring friend*** EDIT***Geezz... I didn't notice this was such an old post...Anyways... I hope it's all ready now. I hope my reply would help anyone in this situation anywaysGodbless
  9. I saw this a couple days ago... And I was in shock. I believe in ghosts, i've never seen one but I believe if you die suddenly maybe you'd want to come back to take care of what you left behind - and it's important to you.I don't know if this is true or not, but it makes sense to me, because Michael left ther childs suddenly, and everybody knew how he loved his 2 sons and daughter. Maybe he needed to comeback to make himself sure his children will be alright.I hope his soul rests in peace soon
  10. I have to say I've read bad books... but the worst was Eleven minutes by Coelho.you know... there are bad books, worse books and the worst books. And this is one of the worst books I've read.
  11. "The House of the Spirits" by Isabel Allende. This is one of the best books I've read. It's about women fighting for their rights. It's a book that will make you think.
  12. Congrats for such a gifted baby girl!I agree with anwii... Home school is your best choice for now. And you have to choose the best school for her in the future, you have to keep in mind that having a child so smart like yours is such a big responsability, and their possibilities to success are directly proportional with the proper attention you give to them.
  13. I have good memories of school... It was a while ago though. What I liked the most was the friendship with my classmates... I'm still friends with at least 10 of my old classmates. I remember to have the best teacher of the world too... He was such a great teacher and a precious friend. And what I hated... HOME WORK! I hated it so much... and waking up so early... I had to be at school at 7.45 am. I hated that. I was like... allergic to mornings... LOL
  14. I think 2 1/2 years is too early to send them to school. But that's my opinion... I mean, it depends of the situation.I have a 2 years old girl, and I started to teach her things by myself... Like the ABC's, colors, numbers and more. For a baby that age it's important to be with mom, it involves the reinforcement of self-esteem and identity. I think they will have YEARS AND YEARS to go to school, it's so short the time they will be babies that I think it's better to just let them enjoy this short period. In other hand if you don't have the time, you have full time job or you just need some time for yourself, it's a valid option anyways. Your baby will be in good hands, and you'll be sure he will be learning things (And playing too!)Anyways I think it's better a prep-nursery, than a baby-sister.Don't feel press to do this or that... You'll know what's the best for your baby and for you!Hugs and good luck
  15. It's been several days after his death and I still don't believe it... I loved him, my mom has been a huge fan of Michael forever... I got this MJ addiction because of her. He was the greatest. He was an amazing dancer, he had the sweetest voice ever, he made the best videoclips. He changed the music world in so many ways. He was a great artist... He helped people, he was such a good humanbeing. I don't believe in all the bad things said about him, there's no proof. He was just a child who never grew old.I'll always remember him and love him
  16. Great! I didn't know this... I'm a huge Matt Groening fan. "The Simpsons" is my fav TV show... I love them since I'm 6 years old. And I love Futurama too, not as much as I love the simpsons, but I like them A LOT! and It's great to know they'll be back.I love Bender. He's like my brother HAHAHHHA...Cool new... You made my day ^^
