I'm surprised i couldnt find this topic anywhere on the trap. If your alarm clock/mobile phone play's a tune, what tune does it play?. I use my mobile as an alarm and currently have it set to play "kokiri forest" a midi from Zelda:Ocarina of time, which is a very appropriate tune. Before that tune, i had my mobile set to the midi theme "Phendrana drifts" from Metroid:Prime. Does anyone have their alarm set to play the guitar theme music from the rocky movies?.

My neighborhood can get a bit noisy at times. If its not belligerent a holes calling nonsense from across the street or over the fence, its gangs roaming about at night breaking things and doing whatever else they do. One night my mum spotted a flaming car travelling across the end of the street. When she told me about it, i just laughed and said "yeah, that sounds about right". I really hate my neighborhood, ill get out as soon as a "good" opportunity presents itself.

I don't even bother with all that half the time, just nuke some baked beans up, done and done in two minutes!. I only allow myself 2 consecutive days of this highly creative cooking, as id soon look like a malnourished refugee, otherwise.

Getting a couple of good books can really help, if your looking for accreditation it won't mean a whole lot on the "web" unless you have a university degree in IT. Perseverance/hardwork with an intro book and a php bible will achieve much the same (if not more knowledge), that is if you dont find coding too hard to pick up without guidance.

I used to think about this stuff often especially in my early teens, for instance why isnt space white rather than black? Ofcourse later i learnt light is refracted in multiple directions from a sun and while some of it may reach us, the rest will be sucked into a blackhole and trapped, as is conventional wisdom.?I once had a serious time with "deep" depression in which i sore colors in a very desaturated manner, as close to black and white as to color. People who eat a lot of carrots get more vitamin A, and apparently see colors much more vibrantly than normal. ?Everyones perception/personality is different and will have a different take on things. "Mathematics" may be something where our state of mind and perception may converge much closer to that of each other, but still even then we could have different moods. The human mind is a hugely complex thing, maybe even George Bush' brain as well.?

I like horror, the ones that contain urban myth. Candyman 1 and 2 were not bad. The Blair Witch project was interesting, id enjoy it more if it had some historical basis brought in, to complement the way the story is told. I remember hearing stories of people throwing up in cinema's because they believed the "footage" to be true, that's still funny. If "Spawn the movie" was centered more on their graphic novels then their comics, that would be my ultimate movie.

Actually many of the animal species have a tendency to take preference on the same sex, surprisingly its actually normal. It's because of our "moral construct" that the majority of people view this otherwise. After saying that i have a problem with gay people giving me unwanted attention, this minority can actually be scary! (Its unfortunate that i know this to be true).

Yeah good film it offers an interesting perspective to see the world, good acting, directing, everything. Its probably the only movie of this particular "niche" that i can sit through. As far as I've been told "The last man on earth" was closely based on the book as well, kind putting this film as a remake.

I agree, we have no evidence. Its natural for humans to hold onto unfounded belief's. I believe people operate under the illusion of heaven to comfort themselves from the possibility (or probability) that things don't make sense. That somehow we exist, cause a fuss, then drop dead and that is it for us. Personally i cant believe that a "ticket" is reserved for me in "heaven" or in "hell" as is conventionally imagined by those who believe in that. Why should we be so important in the overall scheme?. Do the bugs we squash have a reservation as well?. Why should they be considered lesser?

I actually use Wikipedia a lot. I've looked up tool and found that i also like bands like "A perfect Circle", "Black light Burns", "The Deftones" for instance. I pay particular attention to genre and associated acts that are linked to a particular band that i know about. It can be a little hit and miss that you find something that you "really" like.

It does seem silly that people try to copyright script code, the sheer amount of stuff produced and put on the net would see many close similarity's despite anyone's attempt to keep it totally original. What's to say someone just rearranges the code a bit after obtaining it from its source? You'd have just as much idea that it was actually "copied" as anything else out there. After saying that, for serious coded stuff in say "Java", i think copyrights rules should apply (or maybe not published on the net). I guess we are still waiting for internet laws to evolve some more. Trademarks definitely have their place, without these no company can establish an image that is uniquely their own.

I think it is easily possible that this is true. Considering the enigmatic character he was at times 'that' would'nt be surprise a me.

Ive seen that film its really funny!. Another one i thought was good was "Fun with *BLEEP* and Jane" the one where Tea leoni costars with him, that movie has some outrageously funny bits in it.

Got up at 9am, as im one of those "unemployed" people. Did grocery shopping, paid bills, came home, more shopping. Played an hour of NFS porsche unleashed. An hour of weight training and im know eating a meal. Will probably spend the rest of the day reading up on Dreamweaver/CSS/Ajax/PHP and get some time in as usual establishing my business.

Seems like a good idea, i guess i might join in if i have enough time... But if the book selection isnt within my usual criteria i may forego those months. That is, if the group starts ofcourse.

I agree with fish boy on account of "Sphere" being a really good book. I rank it highly as well. Its captures your imagination and is quick to get through. Although "quick" is as much as a strength as weakness becuase i felt like it finished too early (But i devour books in 2-3 days, so it would be good for those take their time).

By not legalizing marajuana you are not stopping people from using it, but you "are" making it less accessible to the public as a whole. It can't stop you from doing whatever you do in your own home. Have you ever met anyone who has been severely effected by dope? I did know one.

I dont think the laws regarding drugs should be changed at all. Think about the people who have mental illness or who are highly succeptable to illness due to drug use. It would be irresponsible to let such individuals 'go' if we have control over it.

Yeah, donald trump and the like deserve to be catapulted into center of the ocean for amount of good they do society. One problem that bothers me is how the system lets individuals get so rich (capitalism in its current form). When you ponder it for a while, anything over 1/4 of a billion is an insane amount of money for one individual to have. A good portion of the money that billionaires/high earning multimillionaires acquire is due to fortunate luck, its not due to their work output. Their fortune becomes everyone elses misfortune. Personally id like to see some sort of global governance that puts an additional tax on individuals that earn anything over 100 million. They could be given jurisdiction by countries to do so. The organisation makes their procedures completely transparent, retain a portion from the tax for proper/secure operations and distribute the funds amongst the less fortunate like africa to do what they can for them. If bill gates was perhaps the "20" richest person in the world due to his philanthropy efforts, that would begin earning my respect and admiration for him.

It explains in clear detail how banks/large investors manipulate and juggle markets/the world to give themselves a fortune. (Although it only specifically highlights the Rothschilds case as being a "global wide" perpetrator).

I think in Australia, although our reserve bank is not owned by the government; the government still has a large percentage of control how the bank operates.

After saying that i couldnt find "who" owns the bank other than the fact that it is not the government and another curious thing i found - the australian reserve bank is audited "internally" but not "externally" from what i could find. (Somone please correct me if im wrong about that).
