For some reason I can only set a partition when I reinstall windows. To my limited experience, I can only repartition it through formatting. If there are no other ways, I think the reason is to protect existing files from being lost while formatting. (Really unsure but that's all I know)

I am using XP and here's how to do it... (doing it for vista is similar) Launch msconfig from Start > Run > type in msconfig Once the System configuration Utility comes up, go to the BOOT.INI tab. The default Timeout is 30 secs. For a quicker startup, reduce the number to something like 1 second (I haven't tried 0 as I am not sure about the effects). Now to change the settings to take advantage of the RAM and CPU that you've got, click Advanced Options. Then tick the boxes which says /MAXMEM= and /NUMPROC=. The number should be the maximum RAM in MB and most CPU in the number of cores the CPU has. When I am loading windows, the logo and the loading bar shows yea? It used to take me around 7 ~ 10 scroll of the bar to load, but now it takes around 3 to 4 - if you know what I mean.

Interesting...But however I imagine things like this, there seems to be laws bounding the imagination. I know this is kind of random but I seemed to be feeling like this at certain times of life...I am confused. Where am I? I know I am somewhere where people consider this place as "Earth" maybe? But I am not sure if everyone is just assuming the same thing. Do people actually exists? Or is it just some weird imagination of the existance of a similar kind? When I first thought of this question, I thought of literature as the study of language but without it, you would still know the basic language. When I use the word litereature, I mean advanced language. Actually, after your post, I think it would be better to put it this way:Would you rather have a more advanced science knowledge, or more advanced literature knowledge? - assuming we all have basic communication tools, ie basic language.(But I think that knowing something does not necessarily mean that I have to express it, why if I discovered science? It would only be available to me and I don't know literature to expose the findings...)However, continue debating. I am interested in how far this may go and the contents.

Personally, and in general, I would definitely go for science. I won't post too much detail as I don't have much time now....For example, in a dying situation:Science;I would use my science knowledge to find a way to overcome the problem. Use chemical properties of things to recover if wounded and use what I have learned in biology to find the best solution related to the body. Physics skills would come in when I venture on.Literature;mmm, interesting. I should cry out loud "I am dying like a .....". I shall write a poem about how I am about to die. The grave stone of myself should include a delicate poem for memorial. etc etc...But, which of those will have a higher chance of surviving? Literature won't get you anywhere except for thoughts etc...won't actually save you to tell the tale. But science, knowing about science may save your life and you can life to tell the tale. (*I am not against literature but I think it would be interesting to compare it with science...)What do you think?This is only one of many examples that I thought of, but I am out of time so leave any thoughts that you've got and I'll add more when necessary.

Actually I found a program called:Convert PDF To Image which did do the job. There are other similar programs with a similar variation of the name such as PDF to image converter etc...Thanks anyway for the help.

I went on to the website and it seems workable.now, do you have recommendations for PDF to image converters? I also need an image of the file and sceenshot will not provide the best quality images. I beleive that converting can deliver a higher quality output.ANy suggestions?

I am looking for a PDF converter which is simple and easy to use. No need for fancy things, as long as it can convert basic Microsoft Office files (.doc, .xls, .ppt etc...) then it's ok.I know that there are quite a number of programs which can convert PDF or convert to PDF, but I would like some recommendation on which, you may have used before, one is the easiest to handle.Thanks all!

I think it is best for one to look at the specifications instead of brand. Although brand is a source of trust and there might be certain brands of your interest, but for me personally I would prefer the best I can get with a certain budget such as $1000 (also, is it USD or other currencies?).If you are buying a laptop which you don't need to assemble it yourself (not buying in parts to assemble), then the warranty is also important - just in case there are any faults.Sorry to say that I have no particular brand to recommend but the specification is the first priority - personal preference.also, different brand of different origin would have different cost and quality. The most expensive does not necessarily mean the best quality etc... So I will still stick to specification first, then quality etc.

I feel that AA is slightly frustrating as the sprinting (or running) speed does not seem too real. Sometimes switch of weapons are very slow as well. Otherwise I think AA is a relatively good simulator of combat.Also, I used to addict to BF series, with a lot of heavy modding into it - I made made mods to make the gameplay more realistic etc.... The "F" word for exaample.It is a very confusing word. This word could mean "have sexual intercourse with", or to show annoyance and anger and "do great violence to". So when someone says "I wanna "F" you", what does it mean? For me, swearing is just a way of expressing anger or frustration. Sometime usually with a twisted meaning.

Opera:Although I like certain aspect of opera, I would still prefer to use my usual web browsers. This way I would know the security settings much better and therefore easier to manage settings in a short period of time. Opera is actually quite good, but I just don't have to time to get used to all the functions of this browser - I am quite buzy now....Keepass:Just my personal opinion - I don't like using password keepers as the disadvantages is more that the advantages. I would prefer to keep all passwords in my head - easy to remember but encoded in to a sense that it doesn't really make sense to others. If you keep all passwords in a place and protect it with a password (or other method), a thieve would crack open only one security and get access to all your others. So all the different passwords will suddenly become a single. Of course, if nobody touches the place where you store the password, it is recommendably. If I need to have multiple websites, and need to run it on for a long time, and uses expensive plans, then I would need a lot of myCENTs to do it.My question is : is there a maximum limit of how many myCENT or earned value stored electronically? Sothink swf decompiler is easy to use and it works well. You can also preview and export particular resources. As far as I know about using it, it can export the .swf file into .fla which you can edit. I have tried multiple times. Although I understand that this = stealing other people's creation, I am using this to learn about programming in flash and creating various effects.

The decompiler works well with importing flash resources. But if the .swf file is protected from import, then it won't work. So if I have design something and want to put it online or something, I would export it with a protect from import password - options available when exporting.

rvalkass, do you mind if you give some sources for your post? I am really interested in knowing more about this. anyway.... Let's imagine. If a thing were to have infinite energy to move at an ultimate speed, what then? If the speed of light is a fixed value, then if you are travelling at the same speed (of light) then light would have a relative velocity of zero. But Einstein did say that you will still see light at light speed. What might the conclusion be?
