  1. Wasi - thanks, I've done stuff similar to this, but this is my first full-fledged website!Dropout - your link is up on the respect page, if you want your link to be up on all pages, please create a 88x11 image. Thanks Thunder!
  2. Hold on there with your assumptions! People predicted flying cars in the year 2000, jetson style! Calm down, things might not be so different as you think! As from not knowing anyone.. you can always meet new people. And your crush? That's just a crush! Crushes change, feelings change, even love changes. As for me, I don't want to be frozen. I'm completely happy where I am now in life, why mess things up?

    I'm A Procrastinator!

Lol. I am like that too! Oh well, that's how some people are. We just never seem to learn! Though, my procrastination occurs on school projects. Just projects, I do the homework and all else fine, but projects... sheesh.
  4. Dropout - Here is my img, please save it to your server! If you wish to have a button of different size please refer to this page. Also if you could, please post the link to your button here and I will save that to my server and have it on my page! All else, thanks for the kind words! And gotspooned, I guess you are right, but you can show apathy only towards some things! Not apathetic towards everything! I don't think anyone can be apathetic towards life in general! Don't forget to join my forums!
  5. GG! You didn't even read the post! No one here said they didn't like video games! You disgust me!
  6. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Everyone please check out the new layout of my site! It is entitled apathy and uses mostly grey colors. I really really love it, I spent around four hours on it, probably the most time I've ever spent on a project like this just messing around with stuff until I found what I wanted! It is very simple and I have personally never seen a website designed as mine is before! For those of you who have visited my site before, please clear your cache so all new images will load! Not ALL pages are done, but most are! All the "main" pages are anyways. I haven't finished adding the logo to each page just yet and the dotted lines around everypage, but that will be up soon! Edit: All pages are done! Everyone please join the Void! It is the forum which is the MAIN part of my site! Moderator positions are available! Everyone is encouraged to join! If you would like to exchange links with me, post here!
  7. Everything can be integrated into Firefox As for education researches. Try Google Scholar! It's great!
  8. I use a custom CMS through my PhpBB forums. It's awesome except Xisto has MySQL down too much!! argh!
  9. Do I think that they're going to hear? Yeh I'm sure some will, there has to be some at Xisto. Do I think they will stop? Probably not, but they do need to realize that they are seen as their immediate society (meaning their schoolmates) probably do see them as losers, if they haven't realized that already. Preventing probably is better than curing, hopefully those who read this who aren't game addicts, take a move not to become one!
  10. My goal in life... hm..Well, next year I will be attending Sam Houston State University in the fall. I'm going to major in Computer Science....I plan to take over Microsoft and turn Windows into Doors! My plans include my girlfriend. She is attending SHSU also and plans to major in either Fashion Design or Interior Design. She isn't exactly sure yet.I also plan to start a life with my girlfriend and move to California after college.
  11. I have nothing against video games, just those people whom see it as a way of life. for more on this "debate" see http://forums.xisto.com/topic/7244-video-game-addicts-go-outside/
  12. This is to those of you who spend countless hours staying inside playing video games. Not to those who you who indulge your time sparingly.. Video games were made to cure boredom. Not to take time out of your busy day. I see more kids staying inside playing video games then I do outside playing in the warm sun. I miss the days when we'd play Tecmo Superbowl for ten minutes then go outside and play real football for two hours. Now, most people are lazy and do it the other way around, play real football for fifteen minutes, start sweating then go inside and play PS2 or something.. Playing video games is not bad, in fact, it is nice to take a rest from a stressful life and indulge in an alternate reality where I can be whomever I want to be.. The SuperBowl MVP Quarterback, a pill eating circle , or a World Class Chess Champion. If you find yourself turning in incomplete homework because you played your RPG instead of doing your homework, you didn't sleep because you played NFSP2, or you have no girlfriend because you invest your time in video games, you have a problem. Seek help - now. Besides playing video games, you could go outside and meet new people, hang out with your friends, go work-ouit. I mean, there are other, more satisfying options. Things that you could gain something from - not that you can't gain anything from video games, it's just that you gain more from first-hand experience. What is better? Driving a Ferari in a video game or in real-life? Oh, you don't have enough money? Go make it happen. Go study, go to college. Take over Microsoft. Hey.. it can happen, just takes dedication.
  13. Great, great suggestion. Xisto should definately take a good look into this.
  14. This topic has gotten way off topic. It's my fault though. [blush] But I'll answer your questions and then I guess I might address this issue sometime in a rant as that is what it seems like. My PS2 was given to me as a gift. -Can't give those away, it's rude! What do I do when it rains? I like the rain, me and my girlfriend will go out in it and run around. You can also do such things as, work (inside), go to the theatre, do your homework, there are many things to do other than playing video games, which should be your last choice!
  15. I'm pretty sure it used to be like that.. but not with today's youth. I see more kids staying inside playing video games then I do outside playing in the warm sun. Just like I am right now talking on the computer, though I'm sick so, if I wasn't inside and my father came home, I would get an *bottom* kickin cause I'd end up missing school tommorow too! I miss the days when we'd play Tecmo Superbowl for ten minutes then go outside and play real football for two hours. Now, most people are lazy and we do it the other way around, play real football for fifteen minutes, start sweating then go inside and play PS2 or something.. Though I don't play video games anymore, I just use my PS2 for the DVD use!
  16. 3-4 hour battery life.. that is great!!! Now all you game-a-holics won't become addicted! Who the hell needs to waste more than 3 hours playing a video game? Get out and do something! I mean 15 minutes on the game is fine, but more than an hour and you have a problem!

Interesting, I'll have to check up on this game whenever it comes out! So it has all the car specifications, track specifications.. right. Next step, to actually put the player inside the car.
  18. I have some questions..Would this be for a professional site? What type of Content Management System would you prefer? You would definately need to say more..
  19. Treat others as you wish to be treated. It goes both ways. If they don't treat you good, don't treat them good. Plain and simple. Tell your users that you go by that rule.. If it's not followed, you won't stand for it, because it isn't right.

    Tripod

They are crappy, that is for sure. But, hasn't everyone used these at the beginning? They're great startup sites. Especially MSN Groups, because it is a WYSIWYG editor and allows you to create the page, then view the html. Which allows the users to learn very simple html, if they look at it enough. Most of the younger users use these free webhosting sites and don't really care about the pop-ups, the lack of application (cause they don't know anything!), and lack of support, cause it is so easy! Once you grow wiser you need better things.. anyways, the point is, they are good for something!
  21. You can edit the colors. You just have to do it manually. Here is how: Open up the files you downloaded. FusionPoll Folder -> Templates All three color templates will be listed there. Just open one of them up in any kind of editor, I use Notepad. Remember, you have to edit all of the files in each color. This means, Main1.css and Main1.html for the appearance to look right. Now open up your ftp client. Send the files you edited into the correct location, FusionPoll -> Templates. And then reload your poll and it should look right.
  22. Try using FusionPHP's Poll Script. I did use it on my site and it was very good. You can find features about it here which include.. Creating an unlimted amount of polls, each with up to five responses. Online administration panel. Template editing so it can fit the style of your website. Results displayed vertically with percentages, response shown, and votes voted for each response, and total votes! FusionPHP.net
  23. Interesting. I like it, I might put this to use for my "Slave" team.
  24. I should also slap my girlfriend's mother for not letting us go out.. hehe but we're slick and do go out. Shh, her mom hates me and doesn't know about us going out! keep it on the dl! ..and its on the internet, lets hope she doesn't know how to google..
