The distance of a PAN is usually within the distance of a person itself and so anywhere that person goes thatnetwork follows.2. For the security issue for this type of network it the theft of the actual devices such as laptops, PDA's andcell phones and so the loss of the actual device is small compared to the loss of the private data on the computer.3. from 28K to several hundred Mpbs.4. Basically to help make electronic devices more mobile such as GPS systems.5. Being able to transmit data from a computer to an Ipod and other such devices and being able to find someonethrough GPS such as cell phones, computers and even GPS devices. If your producing movies then it would take less time to render images with a combination of several hi endcomputers, but as for a disadvantage I would say that if computers were to go down then it would stall productionand people would lose money.6. Dear don't worry you know what Vista advisor says a lot but is of no use....Vista advisor says i can run only home premium but i run ultimate version without any hasell so don't worry abt it.....secondly there is no legal way another then this...You have to buy the dvd or download a pirated version.......(i don't suggest this as it creates a lot of problems)

I'll go for vista ultimate as you have a variety of software available for it and i usually use a lot of software for different purpose....Where as ubuntu is not that good at running all the softwares and i tooo likes to play games but linux doesn't support many of them ......For speed the credit really goes to ubuntu but for ease of use and variety of use VIsta takes the lead

For minimum requirement you can run ubuntu and kubuntuBut if you want to go to a higher gfx side then i suggest running openSUS

Hi Trapians.....I encountered a new problem in my OSI have a windows xp professional version........ I reinstalled it on the PC and then installed some tweaking software(i usually install them)such as System mechanic Advanced system careboth of the above are 1 of the best softwares available for tweaking......After i ran the system mechanic it compressed the registry and then after that when i restarted the system this problem started occuring...i.e. when i start either the desktop or the taskbar locks upbut not both at the same time...... Suppose if the desktop is locked up then there is only a 'ding error' sound when i click on the desktop......Then i reformated the computer and then evrythings allright.......So be carefull to make a restore point before compacting the registry from next time
