  1. Well I doubt it is upto Xisto what they add into Fantastico, this is a seperate software package which is only rented (or bought?) by Xisto to be used at their control panels
  2. Nice article for the newby users on Xisto, seems like a website like Xisto has a lot of those lol
  3. Nice signatures, very well done.. Wish I would be as good as that hehe
  4. All I can say is that you added nice effects on the background brushwork, but the text is unrealable and the signature is a bit to high, good job though...
  5. At this moment tht would be the USA, for quakecon and stuff. I geuss normalyl I wouldnt like to get out to another country because I have a lot of things to manage and dont trust other people to do it
  6. Thats a bit naive, we all know Google has a staff of the most skilled coders and other workers, and I think your data is fine with them. I highly doubt your files will be secure on a service like this however. Projects like this usually get destroyed by massive ammounts of people hosting warez files on the service, too bad but that's life, besides who needs webspace to backup their software while you have very big media like DVD ROM disks nowadays...
  7. I guess this is taking longer than expected? It's no problem to me though, I am not such of a shouter so I never used the shoutbox really. But I guess some people are a bit bored not being able to lift their hearts in the shoutbox. Xisto security uber alles of course ^^
  8. Time to search might not acually be the time to load right.. Google has much cleaner results and I would imagine Google would be faster then, but in the end it all depends on your location and the location of the server where the website is hosted on..
  9. Add a lot of valuable content (written by yourself or a staff member is a big plus) and try to refer people to your website by advertising it a lot on forums and other kinds of message boards.
  10. Altrough the chances that I will not be buying a playstation 3 are pretty high (I'm not really into console gaming that much, pc gaming all the way!) I hope the price won't be that high, because many people will be spending all their money on consoles like this and that is just sorry for them!
  11. This sounds like a pretty good tool, I'll be installing it when I get home from vacation to try it out I guess.. Maybe this can help me optimize my earnings too =]
  12. Till now it has been the free game Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory for me, in the future I hope to play Enemy Territory: Quake wars..
  13. I don't really know if there will be a game called quake 5, but a new game in the Quake series is being developed by Activision, iD Software and splashDamage at the moment we speak. The game is called Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and is set in an era right before Quake two. In Enemy Territory: Quake Wars you will be choosing a side either as human or strogg, to fight out a battle for the earth and technology. The game is multiplayer only, has great features like vehicles and big maps, and combines the best elements from games like Quake, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (The prevorious game SplashDamage developed) and the Battlefield series. The game will be coming out next year and will; be a revolution for online multiplayer gaming as we know it ... :)You can read more about Enemy Territory: Quake Wars on the official website: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and also on the website of SplashDamage, http://www.splashdamage.com/
  14. About Google Hacking, Google is doing it's best to prevent these things frop happening by adding forbidden combinations of keywoards and search tags, but Google has to try to be as open to people as possible, and by disallowing these kinds of things they slowly restrict the powers their search engine has to offer for both the good and the evil users of it.
  15. Well you cant prevent that from happening, but virtually any product can be used to do things it was not ment to do in the first place, lots of humans like to abuse, it's part of our nature I guess.
  16. That is not freeware, money can buy everything and these programs are among the most professional programs in their own territory, but free alternatives are available of course. Great and also a very usefull list of software, we really need more posts like this, they always come in handy
  17. I guess you have said the NOT recommended part because mozilla thunderbird is harder to configure with hotmail than microsoft's own products, eeing thunderbird is a great email application which I have been using for ages without any nagging me..
  18. Haha that has to be a pretty damn large number :]I wonder how long it takes to find out things like this, years of thinking I guess, not worthy to waste for me if you'd ask.. Still great that some people do take the time to find out these kind of things and keep the life of other geeks interesting for another day.
  19. This has happened thousands times in the past and will continue to happen, the human life is very limited and if you have to miss one year of it because your grades arent very good I would think people with the knowledge how to do things like this would do it. We shouldn't be justifying these people, usually there are multiple sides to a story...
  20. Hmm Xisto is older than this forum right, I remember registering here about the end of june when Xisto still had that crappy website Xisto used to have at that time =p
  21. Very sad story, altrough we should be happy the girl survived the pregnancy this event will probably change her entirely life altrough she hasnt really lived yet.. :'(
  22. A few weeks ago I installed Call of Duty and after it my computer hang and I had to reboot it, now it shows all kinds of messages that I am using a pirated version of microsoft windows xp, but the windows XP I run got shipped with my computer and the CD key code sticker is attached on the back... I have reinstalled it a few times over the past two years but no errors showed up untill that fatal computer crash.. These messages are really irritating and I totally dont deserve this punishment because I'm a legal customer, when Microsoft announced they where releasing this check I already knew not just the crackers would be punished but also innocent people, but I never thought they would start to bother me :)Does anyone here know a solution except forcing the messages to disappear using programs made for cracked versions of windows XP, I don't want to make it look worser than it already is...Already thank for helping out
  23. They wont pull it off, everyone has an iPod nowadays and people wont upgrade to an unknown kind of music player...
  24. Emulating another OS always makes the programs run slower, I feel sory for every linux user who has the emulate windows programs on his computer, it has to suck very hard
  25. Thanks electron for the nice and very good usable PHP script, keep them coming )
