  1. I personally would recommend upgrading only if you are experiencing compatiblility issues. Some new programs do not work properly on tiger and previous operating systems. Otherwise there are limited advantages.
  2. I would predict:AFC:Jets vs TitansNFC:Giants vs CardindalsSuperbowl:It might be Jets vs Giants!!!!!!!How exciting would that be????I can't wait to see how it really turns out, but there's definately a good chance it could be Giants vs Jets. I would have to guess the Giants would win that game, but with Farve leading them, the Jets might be able to pull it off.
  3. I believe that evolution did happen as there is significant evidence to support it. I also believe that all other scientific theories are acurate. At the same time I do not see why this has to conflict with religion. I believe that the bible is open to interpretation rather than designed for literal meaning. This does not mean that any other view is wrong, as it is only my opinion. I agree with most of the people who have spoken about this previously in that everyone should find their own answer between spirituality and religion and how they mesh with an open mind to all possiblities. Additionally, I thought I should mention how much I completely agree with this:
  4. I am a big runner, and I am interested in buying a GPS watch. I heard that the Garmin Forerunner series GPS's were the best, but that the latest one (the 405 which is the only one with a watch included) was bad. The only other option is Polar, but those are very expensive. Does anyone know where you can buy a polar GPS watch more cheaply? What are people's thoughts on the Forerunner 305 vs. 405?
  5. I like to eat power bars for energy. They really do work. Also try listening to exciting music. Caffine definately also works amazingly well but I wouldn't recommend it because it leads to crashes where you have no energy. Also, because of this you can get addicted to caffine.
  6. This website definately appears to have the best hosting services out there. I will definately link back to them once I get a website, but I do not understand how you get a website. I realize you have to make posts, which I love doing, but I do not understand this whole myCENTS and credits thing or the process you go through to convert them to a website. I realize I do not have enough yet, but can someone tell me how many you need and then how to make a website once your get them? Thanks so much.
  7. Saint_Michael: Where I live Fall is awesome because leave near a mountain range and so we get to see all the reds, oranges, yellow, browns which make it really awesome on some days. I just wanted to say that I live in a similar sounding area, except it is technically a plateu not a mountain range. It is so beautiful! You can always see the speckled hills and mountains with trees of different colors coating their slopes. It literally looks like someone spread some kind of woven blanket with bright colors across the landscape. It is really, truly breathtaking.
  8. I have been using an old SLR to take pictures and develop them. It's really "old school", but I think that it is quite cool looking. It certainly gives you a different perspective of the world. I recommend others try doing it sometime if you have one.If you decide to try it, definately be sure to take some photo's of very dark shadows because they look very cool. I also recommend shooting landscapes, but be sure to have high contrast (lots of bright white and dark black).Be warned that if you do not have access to a dark room to do it yourself it is extremely expensive to get these pictures developed at your local cammera shop, but they will do it for you.
  9. I love the Mets, but honestly, they were not that great of a team last year. I think its really all their pitching staff, yes they had Santana, but half the games he left ahead the bulpen lost. The bulpen obviously needs improvement, but the starters (other than Santana) all need to be much more consistant too. I think otherwise they had an excellent team last year (offensively and defensively). How about Delgado's amazing comback, do you think it was him just not playing for Wille? I don't really buy that, and I'm happy they switched managers, not that I didn't like Wille, but I thought Manuel did a better job. In other words, I would agree with Thunder on this one.
  10. Personally, I do not like the idea of Windows 7 because Microsoft is integrating subtle advertisements into the OS. This means increased need to go online for help, services, ect. Also, I heard that Windows 7 will have annoyances such as requiring you to download notepad, windows mail and other components before you can use them. Not that this is too big a deal, as they will be free, but it is still an annoyance. I really do not like how Microsoft is always trying to manipulate you, which is why I am about to buy a new Mac.
  11. I recommend an extremely simple solution that may or may not work. Try this: = null; String filename = ""; _linenums:0'>/** Display a text fileTo use this program,specify the name of file that you want to see*/import java.io.*;class showfile{ public static void main(String args[])throws IOException { int i; FileInputStream fin <strong class='bbc'>= null</strong>; String filename = "";
  12. I recommend a similar idea to apache with slight modifications: String str2;while (str != null){ str2 = str; System.out.println(str); str = inputFile.ReadLine();} The variable "str2" would be used in the future in place of "str".
  13. I personally recommend Java because that is what I use and it is very easy to learn. Although I have never tried C++ I would like to as I have heard that it is more powerful and versatile so long as you are using a Microsoft operating system. Java's major advantage is that it is entirely compatible with all operating systems.
  14. I recommend Java For Dummies if you would like to learn Java, it is an excellent reasource. I taught myself Java using that book inconjunction with Java 2 For Dummies, you can also find tutorials online at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/index.html but I find them more confuzing as a first time learning tool.
