I remember that when I was in Elementary School we were taken to a computer lab that had some games which taught us a couple of things. First of all, there was this Mario game, which taught you how to type. You had to type sentences for mario to advance and kill the critters. It was really fun, it made my typing learning fun. There was another game we played called the Oregon Trail, which was fun. You started out in New York I believe and you had to make it all the way to Oregon with your relatives, and you had to be careful on what you would spent your money on, and which routes you would take etc. I think there were other games but thats all I can remember.

I really doubt Microsoft would ever do that. Imagine all the people who would end up suing Microsoft, or never using it again and going to mac or something. I bet that microsoft would not like that. Though there are lots of people with pirated copies of windows, I doubt that that is a way to stop them. Maybe an aproach like the one the riaa is using would be more convenient for them, but now everyone hates the riaa.

Lol, cute. Why so many cats? I think that the invisible bike is the funniest for me. The captions are funny also. The sniping kitty and the one who has his hands up in the air are also funny, in fact I think they would compete well versus the invisible bike.

It sounds really great. Im going to have to try it out soon. I wonder why Firefox hasnt asked me if I want to download the 2.0 version. I always forget to download it if it does not ask me. I think the spell check will be awesome, I wonder if it is already available in spanish also. Well I guess Ill go and get some sleep now, and maybe tomorrow I will remember to download it.

I guess something like that will probably not be proven in our lifetimes. Sure, lots of people can say things about it, but I doubt it will hapen in less than another 100 years

Sounds fun. I really like the games made by the Rockstar people, they have no limits. I havent heard of this game since I have kind of been disconnected from video games for a while. RIght now I would like a wii, but I probably wont be able to get one until next year or so =(

I want one, I definitely do, though I think Im a little to late to be able to get one soon. First of all I am going to spend my money on other things but as soon as I can get one I will be downloading the good old Toe jam and Earl for it. And then I am going to call my cousin and invite him over to play it and get some beers and play it as long as we can as we remember our childhood. Its going to be fun. Last time I played that game we were like 11 years old, and there still has not been a game like it. The sequels were just bad...

All i got was a bunch of squares. Maybe Im missing the font, or whatever they are called, you know those fonts that have pictures instead of alphanumerics? webdings or something like that. I suppose I was going to see an image like the one you do with microsoft word where you type something and then you suddenly get a plane and two towers, etc.

Well thats really good since where I work they are using flash to make webpages and they will soon be making systems which is were I come in. Right now I am working with php making a content managemente system and whenever I finish part of it I have to help them out with actionscript.

I have the sony ericsson w810, and it can take awesome pictures and you can load it up with movies or mp3 or mp4 etc. I have only gone online once, it was pretty basic but I had no problem with it. Didnt spend much time on it, in fact I was really brief since its sort of expensive. My phone came with some portable external speakers which sound really good.

Is that all it has? To me it seems like a waste of time to install it right now, the windows media player 9 or 10 or whichever I have does the job for me, and just for an improved playlist.... I dont think so.

That is good to know, I had no Idea they could affect hardware, well actually its still software that is affected, but its the software that has control over the hardware apparently.

I had never heard of them until now. Seem really fun, it definitely beats the crossword puzzle. Judging by the name of this thread, I thought it was going to be related to anime.

I wonder if we will ever get to space travel at an affordable price, maybe a moon hotel in our life time. Or a space cruise.

+1 for w3schools. They have like a 20 question exam, but before the exam they have a really nice tutorial so that you can answer the exam at the end. They also have a paid version where they give you recognition and a certificate. It costs like $50 I think, but not really sure since its been a while since I last checked

Hello, sorry if its in the wrong post, but I suppose it has something to do with php because its the language I am going to use to connect to my sql through this connector, if it is available which is the question I am asking. Is the adodb connector available on Xisto hosting? if so where is it? I have looked all over for it and I couldnt find it. If its not available, how can I install it? Is there a way? You should go to this page: http://www.w3schools.com/ ; It really is the best place to learn anything related to creating web pages and almost any technology you can use to make it. From javascript to php to css, etc. The list goes on. Right there you have tutorials for the next couple of months if you would like to know the right way to create web pages with the best examples and documentation and knowledgebase.

That sounds more like the future from a video game perspective. I really doubt something like that would happen, but then again who knows? I rather believe in the idea which says that if there ever is another war after world war 3, it will be fought with sticks and stones.

Yeah, w3schools.com rocks, you can learn anything you want there, and their examples rule! you can also search for the inpics books. They have this book called phpinpictures. Its really good.

I have had a couple of blue screens but the last one was over three months ago, I think I was recording music with a new external audio interface, I just updated the drivers and hasnt given me any problems ever since. I think most bsod come from cheap computer hardware, especially the motherboard, and because they never get good drivers.

I would like them to keep on making movies, I really liked the last one, well actually I liked the surreal scenery more than the story it looked pretty crazy and fantastic.

I have found that the windows vista rc1 is a whole lot more optimized than xp. A computer with vista apparently runs a whole lot faster that if it had windows xp, what impressed me the most is that it runs pretty fast even though it has a lot of add ons and graphic improvements. Though it has some video issues at the moment.

Yeah, I wouldnt go for the external tv tuner, because you really wont enjoy playing your xbox on it because it creates a 1 - 2 second lagg, and that really spoils the game. Believe me I tried it a about a year or so with the first xbox.
