  1. Ive been locked up in the hospital and just got freed! Im sure I'll tell the story later! lolMy account got suspended and in a couple of days I'll get caught up on my posting.I'm not crying, I just want to let you guys know you cant get rid of me that easy! I will be back asap! Also, one of my many emails was from a webmaster forum where they were discussing free hosts, so like always they got hit with the Xisto link! be back as soon as i can!
  2. I've played CS and even DoD on steam for years.I kind of like the idea of it being there CD or not, in fact, I just had to move from one place to another and most of my discs are in storage, some made the trip and others were overlooked .. steam saved me from having to go without part my collection anyway. My problem is that my machine isnt as highend as i would like, and on DSL, so having steam running in the background is laggy more than it would be.When Steam first came out I hated it .. but I had the discs with me, and updates were easy to download and install for any games.I do think they could streamline it some, but its still been ok by me now. lol
  3. I havnt seen it yet, much less used it.Im curious now and will have to give it a try.I use firefox now, I never liked it before but the newest versions have gotten much better. Thanks for the news .. whether its old or new. lol
  4. I just saw that on the news tonight! That rocks. The fact that they can save so many people in the very near future is awesome, and not just the trachea, but all the other parts they are "growing" to help people who had no, or little hope before. Go technology!
  5. Oh yeah, it works nicely .. just dont over cook it or it gets rubbery and eventually hard really fast. A microwave vibrates the liquid molecules causing friction, thus generating heat throughout the product. Whereas a convection oven heats from the outside inward, but its the heating of the ingredients which cause the "chemical reaction" and rising etc. of the cake either way. lol I dont think it would work well for a full-size cake, because by the time part of it got done, the rest would still be doughy, due to the reduced cooking time, but because it is a small amount it does a pretty good job of it. I do like the crispy edges of conventional cakes cooked in a convection oven, and this method does not do that .. but it's still good.
  6. Yeah, its a little more complicated than I usually fix, much less would post about .. but it was sooo good for those of us who eat the dreamsicle ice creams .. or if you like orange period. I was surprised with it. lol I've thought about trying some other flavors also .. maybe like a lemon-cream or cherry lol.
  7. I would say it depends on what you and he are both looking for.If it is just a sexual thing for him and not for you, then you know it's going to do more harm than good.Alot of men are looking to "hook up" with younger women just for the fling, and some think it is a way to turn back the clock in their own lives.Even more women are having serious relationships with younger men these daysBe sure he is being honest, if you can, about what he wants in a relationship of any sort with you, and do what you feel is right for you. Many have found an age difference doesn't matter and it works very well for them, but others find the opposite to be true and the older of the pair is ready to settle down when the younger one wants to party and explore their youth more by going out with friends and "sowing wild oats" etc.The bottom line, is think very hard about the choice you make, and do what makes you happy... period.Society will tell you different things that ultimately dont matter, and may not even pertain to you and your new-found friend.I wish you the best of luck no matter what you decide to do! :lol:Live, love, and be happy!
  8. My favorite old classic retro game was the original old black and white Asteroids game.I could play it all day for the same quarter lol.Even space invaders, or a few other very old classics could keep my attention for long periods of time. lolBut I was around when the first Pong system hit the market as well. lolNow my favorite old game that Im currently playing is counter strike 1.6, and I play on "gungame" servers most of the time, and I just reinstalled battlefield Vietnam last night for the kicks lol.Maybe Far Cry will get revisited soon too, I found that disc in my archives last night as well.
  9. I have not needed an image host in awhile.I do have a photobucket account, but they have changed so much and added so much junk to their site it seems its more of a hassle than when I joined them. There for a couple of years I had my own image hosting service but killed it last year with the rest of my stuff. Now I will try imagefilez and see, but mainly because of the brotherhood between them and Xisto. lolI will personally do anything I can to help xisto and its network of services etc.-------Well, the Imagefilez site works well etc., but I have issues with them placing a watermark on an image that I created. If this is a must, it should be much smaller and say "hosted by ImageFilez".Ive created sigs and tags for many people and dont usually sign them myself .. there should be a distiction between hosting the image and where the image may have been gotten from!Thats my 2 cents!

  11. Very nice work!!I love horses myself, and the top one in the river is awesome and inspiring.Keep it up!
  12. People, both male and female, can be real jerks sometimes.Just be strong and dont let it get you down!
  13. LOL ... a very looong one! My dumb-self voted yes by mistake... just shows what a long night I had last night I guess. (At least thats the story I'm sticking with!) I actually had a boa once, they are very cool and interesting pets, just dont confuse them with "low maintenance" because that is a wrong assumption that is made alot just because you only feed them every so often, as opposed to daily. But temp control, inviroment etc has to be just right as well, just like with any other pet.
  14. Welcome Jelly!Just to give you a heads up .. this site, services, and it's members are great!Everyone is helpful and friendly, and everything is well documented.Hope you have fun here!
  15. 2.5 dudes FTW!I've never been a big fan of friends, but the episodes I watched were pretty funny, but charlie sheen is cool and 2 and a half men cracks me up usually.Especially the one where he was getting a vasectomy!
  16. Nope ... virus scan is always on, no matter what. Thank you for your friendly reply!
  17. Yes, anything that can transfer files can pass bugs around.I always scan everything period, i dont care where I get it or from whom.. even my best trusted friends lol, you just never know if they did, if their software is up to date, or if it is being sent automaticly using their name.I was testing some anti-virus progs and AVG free caught more than Nortons and McAfees' paid versions both did.I was not only surprised but very pleased because I always prefered AVG anyway, but didnt trust it since it was free vs. those you pay for. Hence the conversation that started the tests in the first place lol.Scan everything and trust nothing!! .. words to download by!
  18. Yeah, I looked forward to what may be in store for the site and the entire system as well. I only wish I would have found Xisto long ago .. you guys are top notch already to say the least, and the new MyCents system takes that up yet another notch! Xisto just cant be beat, not even with a big stick!
  19. I think its perfectly healthy and natural to have an interest and desire for sex.... most of the questions seem to come from a moral standpoint.Another question is .. "what is too much?""How much does it take for you to become addicted?"Those have to be answered by the individual, as well as the moral issues involved.I would say, like with many other things, if watching porn makes you give up other things in your life, or you cant function at work or school because you are too busy watching, or if you cant have a physical relationship with a living person because you are no longer turned on without the flicker of the screen .. perhaps you should turn around at the next exit, and get off the porn-highway lol.I'm very open minded and believe in live and let live .. as long as it dont hurt others or yourself..... enjoy!
  20. Yeah I figured it would be the same in relative comparison .. viscosity and friction vs. drag etc.Thats an interesting post though.
  21. Ive been using it for a few years now, and have a bank verified account and no problems... even with overseas payments by check. They take a little longer to clear all the banks, about 2 weeks or so, buit no issues at all either buying or selling.I think most of the problems have been stated in the above posts as far as dealing with people that have suspected fraudulent activity etc., but myself have had none at all.Just beware of phishing etc., but thats with any website at all.Always know who you are dealing with, keep all records possible and SSL is the way to go whenever possible!
  22. The Shelby is one of the top muscle cars of all times, right up there with the Roadrunner and the Camaro.I named a dog "Shelby" after them in fact!A friend of mine owns a place called Classic Cars, and they have 2 or 3 of them, among other mustangs and breath takers like a 1964 1/2 Porche racing car, several T-bucket roadsters from the 20s, and many many others. The Shelbys' four-barrel gas-sucking, tire burning carb had a tendency to ignite when you started it, and most always had a fire-extinguisher mounted in the cab. lolWith the full-adrenaline rush of driving one .. perhaps it was used on the driver more than once as well! Not to stray off topic too far, but a small note about the Roadrunner.I have an uncle who bought one off the showroom floor with less than 5 miles on the OD, in 1967 for $6,000!!!What does that show for inflation today?
  23. Actually, umm .. no! lolI dont even like the idea of someone sticking me, for any reason at all.But sometimes, as much as we hate it, it is a necessary fact that we must endure the pain, humiliation and yes blood.I know several people who are type 2 diabetic and must endure needles everyday, not to mention the finger sticks to measure the sugar levels in their blood. My mother is one of them, and everyday for over 40 years she has had to give herself at least one shot.... in her stomach no less.At one point in time, for a couple of years she was on 2 different types of insulin, and required 3 shots everyday! Can you imagine how thick the skin is on her abdomen from enduring this for sooo long? But, she is alive this very day because of it, and I'm thankful for those daily shots!Love you mommy!
  24. I agree with this very much. First talk to teachers, councelors etc and see what, if anything you can do to make it up, many will see you are trying to correct your mistake and help you. Then, after you have a plan of action in place, sit your mom down and discuss it with her. If you go to her with a plan in place, she will see that though you are human and make mistakes, you are also mature enough to not only recognize them, but to try and fix them on your own as well. Its good you are worried and taking action instead of just blowing it off with "Oh well" ..... that puts you a step ahead! Moogie has a great point to, and by talking to your councelors they may be able to help you there also. Good luck to you!
