  1. I'm know I'm not really active here anymore, but I thought I might as well post for the credits just in case I ever need them later, plus I am planning on coming on here more often for insight.--Hey there, I will be in Toronto and Niagara Falls with one of my friends in real, so I will not be on a lot if at all. My trip will be from August 3rd to August 8th. I won't be going to bed Saturday night (really Sunday morning) since I have to be at the Train station by 4am something.. The hotel is 5 star so there are ultimately ways for me to come online, but I am only coming on for limited things.
  2. Yep, I am back from the United States Capital, Washington D.C.! I went with my school. We had to get to school on Wednesday at 4:00 AM EST. Actually, I got back yesterday around 11:30, and went to sleep because I could not find the cable remote after I was done playing a game on Xbox (which I haven't played in so long), lol. Anyway, I did not use a digital camera to take pics (Since mine is still broken from a long time ago ) so I will try to post pictures when I can, or I will put something in my signature saying to PM me if you want to see the pictures. (Maybe an Online Photo Album will work ) Summary We flew Southwestern Airlines there and back, early in the morning and late at night, way way up in the clouds. There were people from a Navy Academy that flew back with us too. We saw many monuments like the Washington Monument (Which we went all the way up to the top too -- And I think my friend saw the President drive by really fast on the other side since I looked and there were cop cars, an ambulance and the black sedan's and limo ). We also saw lots of memorials like the Abraham Lincoln Memorial (Yes, The scene on the back of the penny), etc. We also went to the U.S. Capitol -- Did you know that Senator's and Representatives have special license with R and S, and if they are coming back from or going to a meeting and speeding or running lights, they police can't pull them over? Its called congressional or Constitutional Immunity I think. We stayed at the Hilton in VA. We were in DC there a total of two Days -- only a night and a morning at the hotel. We did lots of other fun activities/stuff too. I hope to go back soon!
  3. Yes, I know how to play the Piano. I have been playing since old school, and still continue to today, about 5 Years (or so) later, but I took a few year break between those 5 years for various reasons. I don't remember what the first song I played EVER was though, sorry. Also, I didn't know they made songs like that for the Piano.. I haven't really wanted to continue playing the Piano lately for many other reasons, but now when I go back to practice I will be more enthusiastic about it then I have been lately. After all, they say the Piano gets the girls (I don't know if that is true lol ). My Advice: Start out with the small stuff first. Both of my teachers always said something like, "You have to be able to play/perfect the little stuff before you can play the big stuff". (Something like that) I wouldn't advise you to try and play that song from Silent Hill right now if you are just starting, because if you can't get the notes right, you might get frustrated easily and quit the Piano altogether. You should go to a Music Store and get a book for your age & skill level. Let me know if you need any more help with anything like Notes, Signs, etc.. I'm just a PM away!
  4. Whoah, Didn't know about any of these I hope my all my virus Software updates to include these new additions to the family. Thanks for posting this jlhaslip! I would have easily clicked it from curiousity.., lol. I will tell all of my friends and people I know online, and since I know its not a fake like the other so called "Life is Beatiful" Virus, I can provide them with this proof that it is not a fake. Also, I have a question I could not find the answer to in your first post (Did not check the others thoroughly) -- Do you know what these Viruse(s) do exactly? Thanks again! - kab012345
  5. Well, I learned Java Script (the first ever language I learned) from a tutorial I bought and then downloaded of the web for about $8.00 USD from Web teacher, but you probably don't want to pay for that though.. It is called "Java Script for the Total Non-Programmer". In fact, I still use it today, and will probably look at their CGI/Perl Tutorial. Anyway, Looks like you have a pretty good start in learning the language from what you have posted. A good website to finish where you left of learning Java Script is W3 Schools. A little about W3 Schools -- Its The Largest Webmaster/Developer's Resource on the net today. They use Full Web Building References and Try-It-Yourself On-Line Examples to help you better comprehend their Tutorials. Click here to go directly to their Java Script Tutorial. You can also try JavaScript Source or JavaScript.com . Both of these sites are by Jupiter Media. These are some of the biggest Java Script Sites on the net today too. You can search through there scripts and find their counter script, and see how you make it and mold your own out of that one. Their newsletter also provides helpful and latest Java Script information. There are also many other good tutorials out there. I searched and found this other site too called Java Script Mall; I glanced over their tutorial and it looks like it would help you also. Click Here to go directly to the Contents Page. Good Luck on your Journey into the rest of the Internet Phenom, Java Script!
  6. Meta tags are what search engines read to know what your page contains and if they are allowed to include your web page(s) in their search index. Here is a guide that I made on another website I go on. I have modified it to sync with Xisto. I hope it helps! (Still Property of Me, kab012345; Unauthorized use not allowed without express written consent of me ) What is a Search Engine Spider? By: kab012345 That may be the question you ask yourself when you see users online that say Yahoo! Slurp, MSN, and Google to name a few. These are called Search Engine Spiders. Its what a search engine uses to get information from the part of the World Wide Web or Internet it indexes so it can rank a site in there search engine when people search for a specific search term(s). You can get your website indexed naturally (Its find a link to your website, which gives you a higher ranking the more sites your link is on) or you can pay to get listed through various search engine enhancement companies, or software available on the market. Example: Google indexes Xisto often. You cannot really tell on these Forums if a spider/not is on, because they appear to us as Guests. If you search the IP of it, you can see if it is or not. When you search for Xisto, Free web hosting, No ad web hosting, or something like that, it will come up with the main Xisto website and all of the information their spiders just got from indexing Xisto. The search engine decides what it ranks you with all the other Free web hosting related sites, and sometimes useless, unless you use Operators like Boolean, etc. For example, Xisto is ranked 3 on Google for the search terms, "no ad hosting", and Xisto is ranked 3 on Google for the search terms, "free hosting, no ads".
  7. Well there could be any number of reasons. One possible reason could be your meta tags. It seems you do not have meta tags, which are very important to spiders. In the tags, there are specific instructions that tell the search engine how to index your site. One thing included in these tags is how often to visit your site. Without these tags, the spiders/bots do not know what to do on your site that well. I will provide you with a sample set of meta tags for your site, which only tells the bots/spiders to index this page and follow all links and revisit every day. You can generate your own set of meta tags using THIS LINK, or you can give me information on your site and I can generate some for you. Also, meta tags are placed in the head of your site's HTML, of the main page. Example: <html><head><META NAME="description" CONTENT=""><META NAME="keywords" CONTENT=""><META NAME="robots" CONTENT="index, follow"><META NAME="revisit-after" CONTENT="1"></head></html> If you want me to generate tags for you -- Site Description Site Keywords: (Seperate with commas) Optional Info What should robots do? Index and follow all links, don't index this page and follow all links, index this page and don't follow and links or don't index this page but follow all links Refresh this page after [certain #] seconds. Copyright line Category Author Generator Language Search engines should revisit this page after [certain #] days. Hope this helps you get search engines back to your site!
  8. I never knew about the Google Cache either.. About your forum -- Yeah, you should try it and see what happens. There are many ways to get indexed by Google. One is to pay a company big bucks, which is not really a big one for most people. Another, is to be natually discovered. Gets links on other sites, so when they index that site, that 'natually' discover your site, and so on. You could also manually submit your site also, via THIS LINK; You could also buy a cheap software from your local store or over the internet. These are just a few of the ways to be added into Google search results.
  9. Yeah, getting indexed by Google is a great thing for my forum. I closed down my other forums, and now its in every search engine, when I don't need it to be, lol. Google Bots are on my forum 24/7 now. Whenever someone makes a post or does a similar action, Google is there. And its not just one bot, its at least 2 at a time. The most I saw on at once was 8, along with 3 MSN Bots. Now, when I go to Google and search for my sites category, I appear as the first. Please Click here and here for proof. I thank Google for its sincerity and (I can't think of the word..) toward's my forum. I hope its like that for my Xisto (and any future) site(s) too.
  10. I used to use Blender 3D (and some similar other programs) on my mom's old computer. Now, I use a program called gmax. Its the low - tech and free version of Autodesk's 3ds Max (Which is as low as $795 to as high as $3,495 ; It is used my many big game developing studios/comanies), since that is the program that I am using at school in computer art class. A few games that were made with gmax are Electronic Arts - Battlefield 1942 and Microsoft - Flight Simulator 2004 A Century of Flight. I may start using Blender again though, just from you starting this topic and getting me back interested in it because of the examples and such.
  11. I, myself have a PS3, so if I ever have the need for Blue-Ray, there's another use for my 600GB PS3! (Too bad I can't use that 600GB and add that on to my 400 GB Computer, for a grand total of 1 Terabyte )The problem is, Blue Ray is kinda expensive though. Many people will not want to pay that kind of a price for one disk. And the system itself costs more than a 600GB PS3, so.. Hey, since sinthetix brought it up, I will probably still use some of the old stuff, like VHS Tapes and Records as well as Cassette Tapes and Floppy Disks(3 1/2 and 5 1/2 inch). Also, thanks for that Wiki and Blog article. I never really knew that much about Blue-Ray, just what was in the PS3 Box.
  12. Sorry, but Unfortunately, it is currently only availible in the USA, as of right now , but I'm sure they will be developing ways to expanding the horizon soon.
  13. Yes, good idea. I knew I forgot something! I will edit the first post and add price ranges. EDIT: Prices and Other Information Added Successfully
  14. I thought there was an active topic on this but I guess, but a topic in the forum archives pointed me in the right direction, it just isn't active. Here is the link <--> Click Here Hope you find the answer(s) to your query in that thread.
  15. My Favorite Email service is by far Gmail and I have only started using it a few months ago; Simply because of all the features, simplicity, complex things you can do, etc!
