Call Of Duty 4 Pc - Patch 1.6 + New Maps Releasing on the 5th June
daftpunk replied to Forbez's topic in Computer Gaming
The new patch is out! 1.7! Infinity Ward is back with a new patch. With a size of 38 MB, the CoD4 1.7 patch is relatively small and only includes three real fixes: a crash fix for Chinatown, a MP icon bug fix and a fix for the exploit that allows players to "access certain console dvars during multi-player matches".Before upgrading your game to the 1.7 patch, please note that most servers are currently still running on 1.6.FIXES- Fixes an exploit that allows players to access certain console dvars during multi-player matches.- Fixes a crash that could occur when a Chinatown Sabotage match would go into over-time.- Fixes a bug where the MP icons (Bomb, Defend, Capture, etc) were always showing up in English regardless of the install language. -
I adore the game espically cod4 single player is awsome and the multiplayer is amazing!espically the perks and addons for the guns and apparently for the 1.8 patch they will add more guns and camo's and perks and a few more maps its gonna be freaking awsome!

daftpunk replied to bradley908's topic in Computer Gaming
You MIGHT be able to run it just skimming the minimum requirements!1GB Ram (requires 768mb on vista!)1.86GHZ Dual Core AMD Turion 64 X2 (simply not enough you need 2.4ghz MINIMUM!)Nvidia Go 6100 ( A slight chance this may run)Windows XP/Windows Vista (Dual Boot) (could make the game very laggy dual booting i think!) -

YES, Merry christmas and a happy new year to all! -
With the faster approaching advances in television screens, in 10 years we could have mobile phones which are flexible. In 20 years phones which use hologram technology. Probably shorter then that they?ll have mobiles which are simply chips in your glasses or in your ear, even your brain.Yes, I had that therory about a chip in your brain or something it would be awsome!! espically with all these new mobile phones coming out it is hard to decide what to pick since there is such a huge varity and the thought of your mobile being a computer is amazing! Also I see mobile phone internet 3G is getting pretty famous maybe some day it will match up to broadband speed or maybe faster!

Direct3D 10.1 was announced by Microsoft shortly after the release of Direct3D 10. It's a minor update to the Direct3D 10 interface, adding features that had to be left out of the initial specification. The Direct3D 10.1 API is now included with the Windows Vista SP1, which is available since mid-March 2008.Direct3D 10.1 sets a few more image quality standards for graphics vendors, and gives developers more control over image quality. Features include bigger control over antialiasing (both multisampling and supersampling with per sample shading and application control over sample position) and more flexibilities to some of the existing features (cubemap arrays and independent blending modes). Direct3D 10.1 level hardware must support the following features: * Mandatory 32-bit floating point filtering. * Mandatory support for 4x anti-aliasing * Shader model 4.1Direct3D 10.1 runtime can run on Direct3D 10.0 hardware, unlike Direct3D 10 which strictly required Direct3D 10-class hardware and driver interfaces, but new features will be supported exclusively by new hardware.Though this was made mandatory only with Direct3D 10.1, all Direct3D 10 parts out there support at least 4x multisampling and 32-bit floating point filtering, so this is not a new feature per se, just a change in wording of the specification. The specification was finalized with the release of November 2007 DirectX SDK. Direct3D 10.1 will be backwards compatible with Direct3D 10.0 hardware, but the new features will not be available until 10.1 compliant hardware is released. The only available Direct3D 10.1 hardware as of June 2008 are the Radeon HD 3000 series and Radeon HD 4000 series from ATI and the upcoming Chrome 430/440GT GPUs from S3 Graphics. NVIDIA has not yet announced a hardware to fully support Direct3D 10.1, but has stated that they will support Direct3D 10.1 features that developers request on their existing hardware through extensions.
