  1. You can make money online in various ways, but it would be the same amounts as having a job. It would be on a lower scale. If there were countless ways to earn a decent amount of money through easy methods, why would people need to go to school then?I've read doing a 100question survey is $5-20Pay per clicks are a penny each ad for 30secGoogle Adsense pays well, but you don't want to flood your page with that many ads.The best thing to do is find something that isn't web-driven yet. Something that people need, and can be made easier if done online. Netflix came out of nowhere to finally take over the movie rental industry. You're obviously here because we all want to create a website. There are plenty of needs out there for consumers, and providing an outlet for them would benefit them and the creator.Theres no easy out. Hard work always pays off.
  2. Ok. At 19, your mind is young. Theres alot of thought process that you have to go through. Sure, everyone at a really young age wants to hit it big. Shoot, at 19, I had no idea what I wanted to do in life. I was a year out of HS, I was enjoying life. I didn't want to go to school for 4 more years. I had an Accord at the time, (1991 SE), and during that time...my sh*t didn't stink. I was considering starting up business.....but with what money? I had no money, bad credit, and a minimum wage job barely covering my expenses. There was no way a business was a thought, even though I had plenty of ideas! So, I decided to go to school after that 1 year out of school. I figured the younger i'd be to finish the 4years, the quicker I can start earing better money. Now, 30, and I have a 4yr degree in CIS and without it, i wouldn't be comfortable to this day. I recommend going to school, getting it done, and finding a respectable job. Then, as spare time, you do a business. And if you're goal-oriented and determined, you can be successful in both. Finally I am able to start up a business with new ideas and a better approach than if i was 19 and clueless. You'll find your way. No Matter what. Good luck
  3. Sorry, bro. Alot of the posters are right. But look at the bright side. PHP allows you to make changes with a change of code site-wide. WYSIWYG is one at a time....
  4. The best exercise to do is target your areas. If you have love handles, do side to side crunches. You'll see results very fast. I did.Calorie Intake is key, but just because you're eating less calories, doesn't mean your eating right.1 potato chip for lunch isn't healthy!Good luck with your venture and I hope you lose weight! Everyone should.
  5. The last book I read as the Bad Twin - by Gary Troup. Which was themed for Lost a few years back. It was an interesting read. Can't wait for LOST to start again!
  6. Thanks for the pep up, galexcdI guess all I can do is just wait
  7. There was a report on yahoo that a woman out in Texas found the chupacabra. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Everyone was going nuts! The Chupacabra is real! Until some people realized it was a mexican dog called the xoloitzcuintle. A rare hairless-dog bred in Mexico. The "chupacabra" they found was malnurished and left for dead on the road. Some people just like to bring fantasy to reality, i guess.
  8. The irony of this, I just took a sleeping pill last night. It was the best sleep i've had.Granted, there are the negatives to it, but the negatives only come out if mis-used.I have had problems sleeping the past nights with the baby sleeping. Me and the Mrs. take turns for the night watch, if the baby cries. We don't even regularly use sleeping pills. But once in awhile, when one of us isn't "on shift", a sleeping pill can help you knock out faster when the baby is still crying while the other is on shift. Believe me, no ear plugs in the world can drown out a baby's cry.
  9. This looks like Comic-Con Year round for females. But i'm not complaining...
  10. Ok. This is getting out of hand now.I received the newly reset password.Attempted to log into cPanel....And I still can't get in!I don't know what other usernames it would be. I've attempted twice (once with username and once with registered email address) And i'm afraid i'd lock myself out after a few more times.
  11. I have an addiction that started out bad, but has eased up the past few months..Sports gamblingSo many sportbook websites, sports advice, statistics out there, I saw no other way than to place $100-$500 a game. It was such an adrenaline rush to watch a televised game, root for one team that I have no idea, and hope that they would cover the point spread or flat out win the game. After blowing my whole bankroll, I've decided to hang them up. Its a terrible addiction that your ROI is not very easy and streaks can be good, but doubling will ultimately remove your bankroll.I still gamble for a small piece of the action though. My sportsbook allows $1 bets! I even know of a site that gives you 10 cents so you can gamble it for fun!I enjoy sports alot and can't get enough of it, but I think my real money can stay away from that scene from now on.
  12. I have a huge gopher problem in my front and back lawns. Its terrible! they burrow all sorts of holes. I know of the gopher pellets I can spread across the lawns, but fear when my little girl (16 months) runs around the backyard (supervised), that she would try to sneak one in. Just waiting for the right time to knock these suckers out of my lawn!Any advice?
  13. The Ideal weight for a man that is 5'7 is 130-150lbs.Given the fact that obesity has been a huge issue worldwide, I think they may have given a cushion of 10lbs.... :fart: enjoy!!
  14. I play half court basketball. But you'll never see me on the "skins" side....
  15. I''m glad the Giants beat the Patriots. For those that like to root for the underdogs, this was a win for them. Now, for the next season coming along, the Giants don't look much improved and the Patrios...well, its the Patriots. Its hard to determin a sleeper team because whoever steps it up and has the most heart is the team that would have the most success. My team, personally, is the Jacksonville Jaguars. They play smash-mouth football, strong defense, a great 1-2 punch for running backs, and an efficient QB.I like how they are considered the team with a glass ceiling this coming year, so I hope to see how they will do in a few weeks when the NFL season kicks off!
  16. I think it would be exciting to add instant replay in MLB which constitutes if it would be a HR or not. Thats the only thing it would relate to. Not throws to 1st, a ball/strike, or anything that would probably benefit from it. If it is fan interference, it should just be given as a ground-rule double, IMO. That should be enough to bring the potential run home. Why ask for anything more?I think offensively struggling teams, such as my dodgers , would fight as much as they can to add any runs that should be granted towards there way.IMO though, Instant replay will delay the game EVEN MORE, and they should just leave it as it is.
  17. oh geez. So, if I have no recollection of that password when I initially created the hosting plan, I'll just have to earn and burn 10 credits so I can get it reset?Ok. I clicked on password reset and just be a good community user here. Thanks for the Help. I'll be around the forum....
  18. I understand that passwords can be everywhere and some allow x amount, and some allow 1 special character, etc....my password was set to the usual standards and its 7 characters, 1 number. Could my credit count of 5 credits affect my usage? I don't think it would?
  19. alright. I visit https://support.xisto.com/ I log in using my username/password..which is my login/pw for the forums. I see the Hosting Account Center. On the right side, i see cPanel Login. I click that, attempt to enter my username/pw, and I get nothing. Just a cleared out password field in the same window prompt. I get nowhere.
  20. I was just approved and setup an account under the link. But when I attempt to log into cPanel, I cannot use my forum username/pw.Was it something I missed?
  21. My Personal opinion, I think the US has a stronger relationship with other countries that its easy for them to have many on the side of US if China was to retaliate in some sort of way. However, if it is a ....1 on 1 matchup between US and China, the chinese people support their government in ways that the US citizens do not. China would overrule easily with a 1on1 matchup.Thank god for the UN! USA! USA! USA! :fart:
  22. I was 250lbs 5'10 height. My BMI was at 35. I was considered obese. I wanted to lose weight before my wedding day. So I had 4 months to do so. People gain weight because of being in a comfortable relationship. What can you do? All you can do is sleep and eat fast-food or at restaurants. Not much activity except for the obvious. Anyways, I went cracking at it. I told myself I would watch my intake. Calorie count Exercise everyday So, here was my plan for the next 4 months: My breakfast: 2 cups of coffe w/sugar = 250 cal (This includes fresh brewed coffee, international delight low-sugar cream, and sugar) 1 Banana = 100 cal Lunch: 2 slices of wheat bread = 90 cal 1 slice of lean turkey = 60 cal 1 slice of lean ham = 60 cal 1 slice of swiss (low-fat) = 27 cal 3 slices of lettuce = 3 cal 1 peach = 31 cal 4 strawberries = 49 cal a quarter of watermelon = 37 cal water = 0 cal Come home from work at roughly 5:30pm, I have a bowl of cereal 1 cup of low-fat milk (1%) = 150 1 bowl of wheaties cereal = 104 At this point for the day, my calorie intake is 961 calories If your wondering what im drinking, its ALL WATER. My suggest calorie intake per day for my height and weight is 2500cal/day.. My dinner ranges, but I try to keep the carbs low. I cannot eliminate carbs as a whole because carbs = energy. And i'm going to need energy when i'm going to work out. 1 big mac meal (big mac/med. fries/med. coke) totals to 1150 calories and I am still a bit under my daily intake, so im free to take, but for the sake of showing my plan: 2 cups of rice = 300 cal 1 grilled chicken breast boneless = 200cal can of mixed veggies = 100 cal water = 0 cal I try to keep dinner close to or under 1000 cal. It can vary. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you crave to go out and eat, do it one meal, once a week. You'll go crazy if you eat healthy everyday! The transition should be smooth, not abrupt. I make sure to eat at 7-7:30pm. Its very critical i do so, so the food can digest completely before I work out. Cramping can occur and stomach aches, so its best to not even test my body...again. (learned my lesson) Between 9:30pm-11pm I would work out for 30min everyday on the Gazelle (Tony Little's product). Not trying to sell a product or anything, but I think its a great invention, especially for heavy people. Some people don't realize that if a heavy-set person runs at the track or sidewalks, they're running with all that extra weight. Puts pressure on the feet and can thus discourage you to even continue on with a plan or routine. The gazelle gives you the motion of running, works all your required muscles, witout the extra weight clamping down on your feet! Just my 2 cents. The first week I would start off at 20min a day. My body was practically shocked already and I was working up a sweat. To avoid soreness, I wanted to gradually build endurance. The second week, bumped 10min per day monday-friday. After the first month, I went from 250 to 240. I was proud of myself and continued on. 2 months had past, and I had lost 40lbs! There were times I would workout 3 times/week, rather than the 5. Without the need for diet pills, crash diets, etc. Now this is the difficult part that I had to endure after 2.5-3 months. Once you reach the 20-40lbs lost area, you've reached the Plateau. Where your body has gotten comfortable with your daily routine and whatever your doing, is just to MAINTAIN your weight, not lose more. I was doing the usual 30min workouts without breaking a sweat. I had doubled my sessions between early morning (before work) and before I sleep(the usual). 2 30-min sessions per day. I was able to lose 20 more pounds before the final day. My final numbers on the wedding day: 5'10 190 BMI=27 Still overweight, but much better on the pants and shirts.. My final goal is to reach 160-170lbs. Some Key Notes: If your calorie counting, Sometimes there's more than 1 serving in the product. Make sure you do the math when needed. Try to lower your sugar intake. Sugar feeds the fat in you. Sugar is the culprit. That includes soda. I think Diet sodas serve their purpose in calorie counting, but there's an increased level of sodium. Sodium can lead to high blood pressue, kidney failure, and heart disease. You're better off without it. SAME GOES FOR ENERGY DRINKS. Very High Levels. As healthy as you think Fruit Juices are, they're not. The calories per serving are just as much as a can of soda. They throw in sugar in them. Your best bet? Eat real fruits. You'll feel much better about yourself and endurance will be much better. I saw Jared Fogle as inspiration. The guts it took for him to walk to school, dieting, and low on energy....walking a few miles with 235lbs of extra weight outside his normal weight on his ankles is a world-class athlete (Try it....walk with 200lbs of weights on your back for a mile everyday. You'll appreciate him more.) Hope this helps anyone, and Feel free to PM me or respond to this post. I'd be glad to offer advice or chat it up about my personal experience.
