  1. And that would help, right? After shutting it down people will cry and not move from a place and won't share any illegal files anymore.... Yeah, right. MU is good because when you upload a video file you can host it at MegaVideo too, but the speeds and the silly captcha (for which there is a greasemonkey script to get around it) is dumb. It's good that you can use a regular account to lower the waiting to 25 secs, RS has 90 secs on bigger files.
  2. Actually your post is disgusting. Reported. This isn't a balcanic forum where you can say put a bullet in their heads and get away with it. The petty minds like yours make me sick. Oh, and I'll quote what I said on other forum:
  3. What crime? Are you a court? As I know the real court released him 2-3 years ago so that means that was just a fake lawsuit to get money from him! Why didn't you sue him if you believed that!? God how I hate allegations after a great person like this one dies. Rest in piece Michael Jackson. Really sad I won't hear your voice or see you dance anymore in life... Goodbye great man.
  4. From the first Sims® which came out in the year of 2000 and up until now, the game became the most successful and bestselling product of Electronic Arts, the company that makes all the popular sport titles and many other good games. But, in the end, the simulation of real life is on first place with more than 1.4 million copies sold from the first week when The Sims 3® came out — June the 2nd. Well, is there anything more interesting than watching your man/woman... umm... I mean sim sleep, stidy, cook, bathe, go to work and surf on the web? To those unkown to this game (do those kinds of people exist?) Sims is a virtual world in which you control one (or more) characters to build up whole families, who go to school, have kids, find a job, get in love, fight and die. And Sims isn't creative in the characters alone, it's quite original when it comes to designing houses, rooms, gardens... That's Sims, but only the first 2 parts! The third game from this franchise really broadens the horizons and even if you aren't graphically oriented (like me), you'll love the fact that the Sims world isn't just closed in one house, now full ciites exist in which your sim can walk, buy, play some chess and so on... Thus, your sim will communicate with the whole community, something that's a whole new aspect of this game. And you don't even have to get out of the house to meet the others, you can call them on their phone As a virtual world, EA tried and succeeded in following the trends of the real world, because except the usual stuff like cars and mobile phones, there's the internet too where you can chat with your friends, troll on web forums and even hack sites and make money besides the general surfing. The jobs in The Sims 3 are also broadend. You can set up how he will behave on the job, will he be friendly with his colleagues or will he try hard to earn his money or even to make him do less work as possible. Too bad it's behind close doors, but many hope that in the next Sims, you'll be able to control your sim when he's at work. The other new stuff is you can create 5 characteristics of your sim which will influence on his behaviour, e.g. if you choose him to be 'certifiable crazy' he will thell ghost stories to his friends and blabber to himself when no one's looking just to make himself have more fun. I haven't tried it, but many say that the online aspect of the game isn't something special. There existed a store where you can buy stuff with the points generated from playing the game, trade pictures and short movies of your sims and that's about it I guess... Maybe we should expect much more in the multiplayer platform of the next Sims.. Who knows?
  5. It's a wonderfully designed site, the colors and the layout fits perfectly in the picture you want the visitor to get about it, I would've commented on the lack of content but you said that you were focusing more on the design now so I'll leave that alone  The fact that it validates makes it even better, it looks perfectly in Opera here, maybe you should continue practicing your skills and make more websites. A job well done 9/10
  6. truefusion, you are wrong my friend! This is the true IE8 comparison chart http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Here's some busting of IE8's mythbusting: http://www.geektechnica.com/ I, personally, have one word for this campaign and the campaign for finding buried treasure. LAME!
  7. Forget everything else, just adding: margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;to .header solves the problem and REALLY solves it! The image is centered and everything is okay Thanks everyone, you're really kind!
  8. Saint Michael, that works even better, but that messes up the categories and the whole layout of the site.. see the atachment if you want to see what I mean...
  9. I solved it, a friend helped me, I made .welcome look like this and it's centered now! .welcome{color: #FFFFFF;font-size:12px;text-align: center;Mods you can close this thread now!
  10. Saint_Michael that doesn't work either! It didn't change anything in the site layout, everything just stays the same...I'm really sick and tired of this! A theory from me: maybe it isn't the stylesheet but the whole layout of the site? What do you think?
  11. Size: 744x188 Theme: I want you to put text in the bright field of this picture: Color: Default Text: "Мистерии" -- with big letters on top and "Македонски форум за паранормалното" -- as a subtitle below the previous one. Note: this is cyrillic so copy/paste it and don't copy the quotes! Other effects: Whatever you wish if you can make it look darker and scarier, because that's the point of the forum - mysteries!
  12. I'm sorry to say this, but that still doesn't center the header, here's the code I used following your example:.header{background:url(images/aeflogo.jpg) center;height:223px;text-align: center;}The picture still stays on the same spot, do I need to do something else? Thanks so far!
  13. I'll list every available game console from first generation to last in the 'specific' period of time you demand (in quote tags because they're copied from Wikipedia). Their debut sales dates are in brackets: I don't believe the console you demand is from any later generation, but you can check the others out too on the right menu named Consoles here... You need to be a bit more specific about its looks, Unparallelogram there is right when he says that almost every gaming system back then looked like you suggested, maybe you can give us what color is it perhaps....
  14. Well that didn't help at all. As you can see from the pastebin I gave you on line 88 I have the specified the header logo and it's height. Well, adding text-align: center; didn't help at all, the picture stays at the same spot As you're more experienced, can you use FireBug or w/e you're using to inspect the forum and tell me what I'm missing? .header{background:url(images/aeflogo.jpg);height:223px;text-align: center;}Thanks for your help nevertheless, I appreciate it!
  15. I'm definitively a retro PC gamer, I, even now, ?playing older PC games like Commandos: BEL/BtCoD/2: MoC; Driver; Turok; FIFA 09/00; Worms series; Carmageddon series and so on...? I've been playing those games for 3-4 years (from 1998 to 2002) and even when I had a better computer machine I didn't left them, and I still play them up to this moment! I hate high graphics, big resolutions and games like Crysis and similar that, IMO, are just made for the eye-candy and not the brain. I don't even play CS nor other popular games like WoW, Lineage and so on... They just annoy me! I also don't like little arcade games (except if they're in flash) that cost money and you will forget about them in a week or so... I'd really like to meet a person in this forum that is an oldtimer like me, I've met many on other forums! Forgot to say that I also love Sega Genesis games, my favorite is the Shining Force series, I even made a small review for Xisto for it
  16. Hi! I have a really ugly problem with the header image (CSS most possibly) on my newly created AEF forum (thanks jlhaslip for pushing it here!!). Here's how it looks now: I want you to guid me/tell me what should I edit in style.css (or other files if style.css is not the problem maker) so the image and the text below should be centered on the forum page, here is the style.css of the theme: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Thank you kindly for your help!

  18. Welcome to the best boards around the web nightskydrama, hope you'll enjoy your stay and be more than contempt with the hosting Xisto has to offer. Just read the rules, don't spam or post silly one-liners, try to stay on-topic as much as you can and you'll be accepted just perfectly in this environment of ours Ash has given you the links you need to read, and one thing is left unsaid that myCents will begin to appear when you make more than 5 posts.. Have fun! :XD:
  19. Nothing else to say... btw, isn't 8 gigs of ram little for a $2.5k configuration?
  20. awww cmmon you can't possibly believe that! Good will exist even w/o God. I can take myself as an example.
  21. Hello cryticfarm! Enjoy your stay at Xisto and make sure you read all the rules before posting anythings. By the mycents I see below your avatar, I see you got aquainted to the system so I have nothing new to add than - post as few one-liners as you can and be nice ps. You can contact them and explain your problem by submitting a ticket via Xisto - Support billing area. Greetz!
  22. I was just starting to open a topic explaining my problem there, but opened Xisto to see if someone has replied to my topic Oh, I use Ubuntu 8.10 - will upgrade as soon as I get this fixed, as you can see in the topic sub-title
  23. Yesterday, I finally decided to move on to the OSS drivers for my integrated graphics card so I removed the fgrlx prop. (from AMD) drivers I was using till now because they don't offer support for my chip - ATi Xpress 200M - anymore, they moved it to the legacy section. Well I decided to move ATi's drivers to the legacy section of my PC because of their poor politics because I found out that the makers of the libre drivers finally released 3D support for my chip. I used these instructions to remove fglrx and replace it with the free 'ati' driver. When I followed those instructions in the past - on the last step: sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg -- I always got output and I could choose between which driver to use from the offered ones. Now, when I do that, I don't get any output at all! The terminal bounces me back as I've hitten enter without typing anything in the command box I've asked the same question on the Phoronix forums -- phoronix.com/forums/forum/linux-graphics-x-org-drivers/open-source-amd-linux/13218-new-to-the-oss-drivers-ati-xpress-200m?16894-New-to-the-OSS-drivers-ATi-Xpress-200M= -- (ignore the first post - I got that solved), but I haven't gotten a response yet - I want a faster response I thought I may get here. The thing that's really annoying in this problem and will certainly get fixed if I manage to reconfigure the xserver somehow, is that I have to accept to boot into 'low-graphics' mode and click OK once more whenever GDM starts! I tried with backuping xorg.conf first and then deleting it from /etc/X11 and re-trying to configure the server, but the same thing happens! Don't worry, I returned the backed-up xorg.conf file. What should I do? I'm very desperate about this problem! I'll be very glad if I find a working solution to this as I can't find anyone with the same problem as me on Google. Please, I beg you don't tell me to revert to the propietary fglrx driver (except if that's part of the solution to get the 'ati' OSS driver working) and don't tell me to do a fresh install either because I don't have a way for how to do that (don't ask). In the meantime, I'll keep searching for an answer and post it here if it has been successfull. Thanks for any help!
  24. Hey man! I mean - probably you're male right? Anyways, please don't pay me lots of attention, I'm just really bored and what would I do if not give a warm welcome to new members on Xisto! Please read the rules, avoid one-liners - 'cept when absolutely necessary, always quote your copied content and point to the place from where it's copied with a URL and you won't have trouble getting hosting(/s) and/or domain(/s) from here as I did Enjoy Xisto and make valuable friendships with its members and most importantly — have quality fun!
  25. Hello freenrg, welcome to Xisto - the best place to get free hosting on the whole internet! By your introduction post - you won't have troubles with the rule that says to not post one-liners without any meaning (accounted as spam!) and it seems that you've already read the rules and got intro'd to the system we use - you already signed up at Xisto - I can see the mycent below your avatar Remember to always put copied content in quote tags and point to the location where you got the information from, our mighty admins and mods don't like plagiarism -- but highly unlikely that you'll do that actually imo. What is left to me is to tell you - you will get 'trapped' onto this board for a long, long time and you'll have great fun while learning many new things too. I did! I'll get you introduced to the forums we have overhere, as per your request: A forum named Education has many sub-forums to get started with teaching children and you can find other topics connected with learning on this whole board! It's 5 years old, so chances are you may find everything you want! Ahh... you may have already noticed but we have our own forum called Spirituality and Consciousness with many sub-forums - devoted to just 'connecting and making a bond with our spiritual side'. Me? I'm not and won't ever be devoted to this. I don't believe in that stuff B) I'll recommend the Life Talk forum and its sub-forums, especially the sub-forum Real Life Experiences - if you want to find out what people had experienced in their lifes and how to learn from their mistakes or their successes and the Debate one if you want to want to debate about something specific that comes into your mind with our fellow trappers The Business Forum will suit just great for this IMHO As you can see, this forum is full, if not bloated with people expressing their opinions, if you came here for the discussions and not the hosting, you'll be as much satisfied - if not more - with everything that Xisto offers on a golden plate! ps. What actually is your fav soccer team? I'm just curious
