This is gonna be so amazing, when I saw it was officially announced and not just another stupid rumor I started jumping and screaming and I almost banged my head on the wall, that's how happy I was! xD Apparently it's coming in the 19th of November in North America and 21st of November in Europe. I don't know about you, but not only I'm pre-ordering, but I'm gonna pre-order the North American version to get it earlier! It's Games For Windows Live () but since the Gold subscriptions have become free for the PC, hurray! From what it says in Take Two's site, apparently the multiplayer is gonna be enchanced just for the PC. I can't wait! What's the first thing you'll do? I'll have fun with euphoria. Boom! Crash! Spat! Windows XP and Linux are very different. Windows XP is for the people who want a good OS that they can work on or play games on. Linux is more advanced sometimes it needs you to type and learn different commands through the terminal. Just the fact that Ubuntu is free and open-source shows that it's nothing like windows xp.Trying to compare Windows XP and Ubuntu (or any other linux version on that matter) is like trying to compare Grand Theft Auto 4 with Metal Gear Solid 4.

Lately I've been frustrated with Halo 2 on Windows XP. So I wrote the following letter to VMWare hoping that I can finally get to play it:"Subject: Halo 2 XP with VMWare/ThinApp?Body: I use Windows XP, and I bought Halo 2, hoping that I could use the Halo 2 XP fix to play it on my computer. It worked on 3 of my friends using XP that did the same, so why wouldn?t it work on me??it didn?t.I decided to turn to VMWare. Having Workstation, I made a VM of Windows Vista Ultimate using a spare copy a friend at work gave me. In 10 minutes I was operating under Windows Vista Ultimate through VMWare. I closed it, used the special commands to enable 3D acceleration with 256MB VRAM (my graphics card is an Asus EN8800GT 512MB). 3D Acceleration didn?t work at all. Sure, but that's just it. You have to pay to get iMovie, which is something disturbing as Windows Movie Maker works nicely and is free. If you turn to apple you have to spend more money on apps that come with Windows than on apps that don't.And games, don't forget that there are barely any retail PC games compatible with the Mac. I know WoW is compatible, but I don't play it :)All these years I've been using XP in different computers I have only seen one or two "What the hell just happened?" crashes, on my friend's clogged with s**t system.When I used Vista for the first time my first thought was that it was a simple OS for people that don't know much about computers, and that was just about it. Microsoft made it too much of a resource hog, making it hard for new people in computers to understand why it was going so slow, which was Microsoft's mistake. I don't want 4GB on my PC with the 2 GB used by the OS and it's Theme, jesus...Linux is also good, but there you have to have a little knowledge about computers in general. I've used it, I still do; it's nice, clean, fast, customizable, you can run windows apps and more.Every OS has it's problems, until the perfect OS comes, we have to stand-by...

little FYI: Macintosh IS the operating system. Apple is the company that makes it.Vista is pretty unstable, that's why they started making 7 so fast. But you can't say Windows XP doesn't work well. Vista is quite not so ready to be used so much.

You are a genious. This is really useful but, in school they allow us to visit all kinds of sites, for some weird reason. It won't be of any use for me, at least, many others will use it.Although some school networks have blocks in certain keywords... and this method uses internet explorer... so they may still not be able to visit these sites.
