What do you think of the Bonsai Kitten website/idea? Its a hoax, but when I first got linked it I thought it wasn't and was really angry at the idea of people stuffing poor kitties into jars. There have been many email petitions to close the site, which has been kicked off many servers for inappropriate content, and now resides with Rotten.Com, an image gallery and news site of stuff not many like to see/know about.

Umm.. Open up the command box thing (should be under C:\WINDOWS, i think - haven't used it for a while)type in netstat -an to view the ip's being accessed.

Recently, two classmates and I made a website on AI.. Its at http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ if anyone wants to see it. Some food for thought about the Turing test - an american philosophy professor gave an example of what could really be happening. There's a room, with someone inside it and a huge phrasebook with questions and answers. A piece of paper with a question on it is handed in to the room, and all the person has to do is search up the question in the phrasebook, write it on the paper and hand it out again. The person doesn't even have to know what the question or answer means.. Do you think this could be what is happening with AI, or do they really understand what is being asked of them?

Maybe this will be the start of third generation software.. A program that will let you make flash, images, html and other stuff into one . I'm not too bothered with who owns who, as long as the software quality doesn't drop.

Dreamweaver.. I started off with AceHTML (I think thats what its called), then it screwed up my computer every time it started so I got rid of it. After that I had a short stint with FrontPage but it generated so much excess code in the WYSIG-thingy that I had to spend half the time editing.. Notepad came after that and I kept using it until I got Dreamweaver.

Adobe Photoshop is very expensive, and most people don't want to spend that much money on a single program but if you are willing to spend some money you should try PaintShop Pro, which (i think) is made by Windows. It's very similar to Photoshop and a lot of people use it.
