It's not that I like cheese, but there are certain favorit foods of mine that cannot be "dined" without cheese. For example, nice juicy hamburger. I have to have either nice sharp cheddar, smooth swiss or original american cheese. My sub (a.k.a. submarine, hoagie, hero or footlong sandwitch) must have provolone cheese. My atomic-hot buffalo wings (the original recipe) must be accompanied by bleu cheese! :)With my crackers or finger foods, easy spreading brie cheese is the only thing that will touch this tongue And lastely my french fries. Yes folks, french fries (a.k.a. freedom fries ) shredded mozzarella cheese and thick gravy. Mmmmm...So do I like cheese.. yes, you can say that.

When you try to view a topic and you get the board error, read the error message. It'll say either you don't have the permission to view the topic or topic may have broken link. This is when a moderator unapproves a topic and makes it invisible or when a topic has been moved to the spam area. Another topic you cannot view is STAFF topics, which are only viewed by moderators of Xisto. There's nothing wrong with Xisto's forum database.

Custom Drop Down Menu's Link Bug
BuffaloHelp replied to MaineFishing45's topic in Web Hosting Support
Are you refering to the dropdown menu "Credits"?The first link should go to OpaQue's post regarding hosting credits, View My Credits should lead to the forum index (since so many members inquired about where to find out his/her credit numbers) and the rest should lead to the Process page for view, transfer and reward. All links are working correctly. Double check to see where it goes again. They should not just refresh the current page except for View My Credits, IF you happen to be on the main forum index page.If you have Opera, be sure to clear your cache. This has been Opera's biggest problem. And if you logged on using Opera while upgrade was taking place you probably inherited the old cache. -

Your account to Xisto was suspended due to lack of hosting credit. I was able to backup your entire files, including the database. However, I did notice that some of your database url were set to /home/goose/public_html/...etc. These are the ones you have to go back and manually change with your new Xisto - Web Hosting account detail.Your account in Xisto - Web Hosting was somehow not established at the time of this PM. Perhaps I have your account url wrong. I sent you a PM and please get back to me when you can.Thanks. -
Advice For The Webdesigner And Admin Important advice.
BuffaloHelp replied to Lyon2's topic in Web Hosting Support
The typo may be an error today, however there were other plans before Xisto was narrowed to only 2 plans. And for those who started with original plans by Xisto those information are true. However, as you can see to the right the 2 plans are listed clearly. This typo was reported earlier and it will be corrected when server admins are healed and well -- refer to alerts and notices. There's no need to fight over what's right and wrong. What is wrong here is that members are not respecting in Xisto fashion. Thank you for your attention, the issue may be resolved soon. Topic closed. -
I'm sorry, one point I forgot to address. No absolutely not, never! All known proxy site's IP address have been logged and when found it will be investigated with habitual "usage" of a proxy IP address. When a member is found to use proxy IP frequently a member will be asked not to use it. This can lead to a single member having multiple hosting accounts, which is against Xisto hosting rules. Furthermore, you cannot host/run/conduct/provide any proxy service using Xisto services. This calls for immediate account termination and will not be allowed to be hosted by Xisto again. You will be banned from all Xisto Corporation hosting services. Just a brief mention about hosting termination: in the past I have terminated 4 account due to two member using proxy service to own accounts. If there's anyone out there thinks he/she is getting away with multiple hosting account I urge you now to stop immediately. There are ways to be tripped and be caught. But I would like to think that everyone is honest around here. If you need more space please visit Xisto - Web Hosting.com.

Xisto Corporation and Xisto do not block any IP addresses unless the IP address launch attacks on our servers. Your hosting account is yours under the management of Xisto Corporation. Therefore, you can do whatever you want with your hosting as long as it is under Xisto hosting rules. Please refer to Xisto Readme. Xisto offers unlimited database with unrestricted database size. File upload limit is depend on your package plan and monthly bandwidth limit. If you have plan 2, the maximum file size to upload is 150mb and bandwidth of 5GB. Both email systems are enabled and you can take full advantage of those services. However, the first sign of spam or reported spam from your site, the server admins will terminate your account and will not grant a second chance. The server uptime isn't recorded, however, HTTP has been up 100% in the past month, MySQL was down only for 3 hours and the last server reboot was 65 days 7 minutes at the time of this post. If your website depends on database, SQL down time will effect your uptime. Please refer to Xisto Readme (my signature) and live server condition at http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Network Status.

What Is A Good Free Forum Software?
BuffaloHelp replied to lemonwonder's topic in Websites and Web Designing
A forum script to mimic "certain look" is all in the forum skin. You can actually have phpbb to resemble IPB with just a change in the skin. I'm not sure if you have seen how IPB is controled, but in my experience any free forum script that best resembles IPB is SMF - Simple Machines Forum http://www.simplemachines.org/ . This is only because how SMF admin control and the behavior when it comes to customizing the layout of the board. However, SMF does not offer many mods for the board. -
Make index.php file with code: <?phpheader ("Location: domain.com/forums/;?> or make index.html (or index.htm) with code: <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="2;url=domain.com/forums/"> where 2 denotes the time in seconds before it directs. Nice if you want to show a message "you're being redirected to another page in X seconds"

ComputingHost is currently very busy due to one of our server admins had huge accident. Refer to Alerts And Notices section.PM me with your accounts info or see me on MSN and see what I can do for your account. The basic migration is simple: back up your database and upload to your new account. However, if you made your database URLs with your Xisto sub-account, you'll need to go back in maunally and change those out. If you made your database URL to your domain address the migration should be very simple. -

Job Interview Attire Question dress for success
BuffaloHelp replied to grnjd's topic in General Discussion
For the longest time men's jacket sizes were always in even numbers. It is only in recent years/decades that odd sizes are appearing. It's probably due to uneven body structures these days. My chest size is 39 but my jacket size is 44. I have wide shoulders. So what's happening is the shoulders would be in perfect size but the body (the back and the waist) looks very big and bulky. If I get the one that fits my body, the shoulder is too tight and uncomfortable. And then I found the "athletic" cut design. It's more tailored to the Y shape :)Get the size that fits you the most over all. You want to get a jacket that it will rest on your shoulders "easy" and not too big or too small. That would be your jacket size. The length, (L for long, S for short and R for regular) is just your preference to your dress shirt's cuff. some people want to show more of the dress shirt by getting shorter (S) jacket arm length. This is helpful when you'll be wearing a dress shirt in contrasting color, i.e. black jacket with blue, white, red etc color. But it's all up to your body shape and style. I'm sure the sale person will help you choosing the right length. The more importantly, I feel, the right tie. If the place you're getting the interview suggest wearing a jacket usually a tie is implied. (I can't believe you had the courage to call and ask for attire question ) Color choice in your tie will also reflect your "attitude" in the business world. I don't know what you should wear but avoid colors red, blue and black area. These are power colors, especially the red. An interview tie should be something simple in pattern/design yet it fits your age style with conservative feel. Again, I'm sure a sales person will help you choosing the right one.Press your clothes! Show them you can takecare of yourself. Show them you got up early and shown much care to your appearance. First impression goes a long way.Good luck and tell us how it went. Perhaps a topic about do's and don'ts of an interview process. It's been a very long time since I had one and maybe the rules have changed... -
I'm holding a fundraiser this weekend for some device called the PlayPump. At first I had no idea what this device did. This fundraiser was just a part of my company's project and since it involved humanitarian efforts, I simply thought, "hey I'm a nice guy I can do this..." Trevor Field is an entrepreneur. He had an idea to invent something simple that can be effortless and be useful at the same time (his previous company was an advertisement company). Now, enter inventing company merging with Mr. Field's brilliant mind. And you have a device that does, in my mind, at least three things at the same time. PlayPump - think back to your playground days where a simple plaything that spun around which was powered by other kids, pushing, running and going round and round... That's what got Mr. Field's idea. The untapped and harnessing the free energy generated by kids playing. This PlayPump looks like an ordinary playground equipment. But every time it is turned, it cranks a manual motor that pumps fresh water from the ground up to the water tower. And the water tower than can use the gravity to send water to far distance or just simply act as a reservoir. How PlayPump Works Manual pump is very tough to work and it takes long time to pump anything from the ground. Manual pump is operated by hand, much similar to how you pedal a bicycle. We take it for granted how fresh water is delivered to us in advanced world, but in much of Africa fresh water is as precious as gold sometimes. There are water reservoirs under the ground but drawing it to the surface takes money, i.e. electricity to run powered motor to draw it out. We sometimes can't imagine places without electricity but it is very common in the 3rd world counties. This PlayPump not only provides easier means to turn the motor but it also provides local and village kids something to do for fun. As kids play, as they often do, it turns motor whether they know it or not. Mr. Field's design then allows drawn water to be rushed up to the water tower and store for later usage. This means far away dwellers do not have to travel by walking 40~60 minutes and pump for another 40 minutes to fill a 5 pound bucket to carry it back. They may have to walk close to 2 hours of journey but they no longer have to labor over getting fresh water--they simply turn the faucet to fill their buckets. I suppose the next logical step is to lay down pipes to go closer to near by villages. The gravity would easily create needed pressure to deliver water to certain distance without any power or motor necessary. So why not have these PlayPumps in every village? The cost to produce one PlayPump is nearly $7,000 USD. It is costly. But each PlayPump can gather 400 gallons per hour when effortlessly played by kids. The current manual pump can only do 20~40 gallons per hour. The PlayPump's detail can be found at this site http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ The inventor's website /legacy

Can I Ask For More Space On Trap 250MB
BuffaloHelp replied to MusicOnly's topic in Web Hosting Support
Please stay within the topic at hand. Domain name and hosting space are two different things. Perhaps in the future Xisto *may* evolve. But at the time of this post being made Xisto is a Free Web Hosting, No Ads company--and not domain name seller or provider. -
