A lot of people would say Internet Explorer because they've never used Firefox, I think Firefox is a lot better because you can add in your own themes and add-ons, something that you can't do with Internet Explorer, the pop-up blocker on Internet Explorer was useless, if you turned it on you couldn't open any links that opened in a new window, and it would still let most pop-ups through.There are some great add-ons that you can get with Firefox, there's ad blockers, sidebars, downloaders, youtube downloaders there's hundreds!I would recommend anyone that uses Internet Explorer to give Firefox a go, it's safer, faster and customizable!

It looks like your using over people script's instead of using your own; your contact form isn't made by yourself, nor are the forums or the games, this not only makes it look very unprofessional and unwelcoming, but also makes it look like an amateur attempt, but because your 14 I guess its okay.Also why do you have adverts on there? that makes it look even worse!The chat isn't yours either, with a bit of PHP knowledge you could create all of that yourself, and give it a feel of your website, each page seems to have a different theme, not helped at all by using other people's scripts.People have probably visited, but have no reason to come back, perhaps make a members area where you have to register, login, etc...This would make a world of difference!

Yeah I had to do this when my IE broke, I thought instead of getting IE again I'd try Firefox, and its a lot better than IE!I didn't know you could use it for command prompt to! Thanks for telling me!

Your really serious about finding every university in the world? good luck!You can just use a simple HTML form to list country's and then another one that would list all the universities in that country, then use PHP to enter it into a database.If you want the page to not redirect after the country is selected, you'll need to use AJAX.

I don't think so, if it did it would probably be the fault of the server.If you want people to be able to see the source code put the extension to something like .txt or .phps

Why don't you use Mysql query? that would make it a lot easier!Don't jump in at the deep end trying to make a super secure login script with loads of features, a simple register, login and logout is fine for a first try! from there you can make more adjustments to it later. Also i noticed you don't seem to have a members page yet, what use is a forgotten password script if your visitors have no reason to come back!. Like I said don't jump in at the deep end, simple Mysql query's are fine! if you do that there's little chance of errors, and the errors that you do get are simple mistakes, ones that a novice could correct easily.

You don't need one, but as I know from experience once you have your sights set on something its hard to take them off, especially if its your website.You can make one using JavaScript, just search around Google for it.Alternatively, you can just make an ordinary registration from really easily using PHP, I've made my own Login, Registration and Administration panel really easily, the users can change their password and settings, its so easy to do, or you can just download a pre-made one from almost any download website.Good luck anyway!

It looks pritty good, same as mine basically!I don't think there's any improvement you can do security wise, but when your doing your mysql_query's use sprintf with mysql_real_escape_string (read up on it closer to the time) I think it makes the query more secure.

I used Notepad, its the only way to learn to start off with, if you use something like Frontpage or Dreamweaver its like having an interpreter, its saying to you; "why learn the language when you can get something to do it for you", once you've used Notepad and got with the concept of all the coding, move onto something like Notepad++, its easier if you have long scripts as it can check curly brace matching etc... (gets VERY annoying trying to do it on Notepad).Good luck anyway, like I said, the only way to learn a langauge is by practise, not getting something to do it for you.

Good luck! For my first PHP script I made an email form+sender, ever since then all I want to do is PHP! For my second one, the one I am on at the moment, I am trying to make a member system (allowing the user to register, login, change password & settings etc..) i'm nearly there, just adding some design to it! look if you like: http://sam.exofire.net/register.php. Its possible yes, but if your a novice at PHP (like me) then it will take some time! For example, i'm trying to make my own member system (where the user can register, login change password etc...) at the moment, after 2 days i've managed to get it working with no errors, the users can register, change their password, login and change their settings. I like it - simple design and quick loading times!Perhaps you could change how the text is organised, I can't read text for a long time without getting bored, perhaps organise it into blocks or put it into a text box?I've added it to my favorates, i'll be checking back sometime to look at that art work

Thats just shocking, but it goes to show, always read the contract!.Good that they reduced the bill but thats still to much to be paying for a phone bill!.

One of my friends has a Piczo, in his comment box he has loads of random people, obviously no clue what an actuall website is, saying that his website is 'the best ever'. He's even said to me he is going to buy his own proper domain for his birthday, I wouldn't dare to tell him that making a real website is nothing like a site-builder. Any web hosting with a site-builder will put me off, almost 100% that you can only use HTML, get about 50MB of space and all you do on it is copy and paste a load of HTML from another website into your website. Basically its a load of snippets from thousands of websites, thrown together with 1000's of pop-ups and slow-loading adverts from the hosters' (Piczo is a great example of this!). I don't think he's going to do to well with his website when he realises all he has from a web host is PHPMyAdmin. Fair enough your site is better than most of the Piczo sites, but there's so many advertisments and pop-ups that it ruins the experience of visiting, if you view the HTML of your page the amount of piczo related coding is shocking! I experienced lag while on your page (my computer is old though).

I've had very bad experiences with them and their customer support, within days of making an account, I belive that I was IP banned, don't know why, couldn't log-in or anything (yes I did activate account + allow cookies). So I did the logical thing and contacted customer support, they asked me to give them my system details (OS, browser etc...) after I did that they asked me to use Firefox, so much for support.I left them and found a lot better hosts that won't ban you for absolutely no reason, offer better space and don't have ads!I also encountered slow loading speeds with their website (don't know if anyone else experiences this).

I think the sudden increase in the amount of people using MSN again is because everyone has higher internet speeds now, Hotmail has so man features compared to others. I don't ever use my ISP's email.I think if Gmail started adding rich features then it would seriously rival Hotmail, but because Hotmail is virtually unchallenged with all of its top of the range features.I use MSN messenger, I don't really care about what one I use, as long as I can send and receive .

It would be pritty hard, impossible to do on your own, the only way I can think of is to take down each ISP one by one, although this would only be temporary as i'm sure they would be up within minutes.I would like to see the intenet cut off for a day, I think there would be havock, the internet is becoming more and more important, money and buisinesses are completely, solely dependent on the internet. Just for a day, I think it would be a great eye-opener to what life should be like, but hey, i'm not going to be hypocritical, I use the internet just as much as i'm sure you guys do.

I'm going to have to get me one of those, but i can't help but think you'll have sore fingers after tapping away for a while, I think it would get on my nerves after a while, if you have a laptop then there's absolutely no point in it, unless you want to look like an idiot.If I still had my desktop then sure, this would be great for me! no more cleaning out my keys for dust etc, great for public places like school's or library's where the keyboards have had 100 people touching them, probably crawling with millions of germs. As far as I know, no-one has died as a direct result of using a mobile, surely this is enough proof?.I don't suffer any of those symptoms when using my phone, I don't think their dangerous. In my opinion its just a load of people who get kicks' out of seeing people worry, with every new piece of technology there's always people who fail to see the good side, point out potential health risks and never speak out about the positives.If teleportation was ever invented (not in my lifetime for sure...) then i'm sure they'll be 1000's of crazy scientists saying that you'll be teleported into a new planet and contract a new killer desease or something.Until its proven then you've just got to assume that it doesn't affect your health!

Just a guess but, would it have something to do with them getting used to humans stealing all their honey, so they make more than they need.

I'm sure its possible, but it isn't very secure if someone found the site, I would put a quick login script on it first.I think you should learn PHP because its a really good and useful language to use, learn it and i'm sure you'll be able to solve this problem, and make loads more of great features for your site!Login scripts, hit counters, random content generators, the list is endless!
