Also be sure to make people want to register on your site, maybe make the downloads page protected, so only registered users can access it. I love Google Sketchup, I think its great that Google put it up for download for free, I would of thought that for a programme of that quality, they would of atleast put a time limit on how long you can use it for.I don't use it as much anymore since my school offered me some better software for free.I think it would be better if they added more textures etc..

There are so many languages out there to use, and so many components to acctually make a game.As soon as I realised how much work was needed to make your own game, I jumped the boat!.I usually stick to web development now, i tried learning Java, but it wasn't going anywhere because I didn't have any ambition to use it.

Advertising pop-ups are the most annoying thing on the internet, i have a 2 year old laptop (not the fastest) and they slow my computer down ^_^I'm fine with ads in general, without them websites wouldn't be financially viable. Its the ones that i have no interest in that i hate.I also hate the way that if i turn the pop-up blocker on (the one that is included in Internet Explorer) it blocks those annoying pop-ups, but i have to temp. allow pop-ups for any pages that open in new windows.I also find that i'm seeing more and more tracking cookies on my computer as more sites look to adding ads to their site.

Yep, all the files are in public_html, and both the counter.php and hitcounter.txt are both 777, i'm just wondering whether there might be an fopen restriction, and with my limited knowledge of PHP, the only compromise i can see is adding both the files (counter.php and hitcounter.txt) into every directory, which i don't really want to do

I used to play RuneScape but i quit when Jagex (the makers) hit the self-destruct button when they litrally deleted everything good in the game due to 'cheaters' to used an automated program to 'farm' money.But thats not the only reason, while i played i failed to find any mature player, it seems to me that the whole RuneScape community is a bunch of immature 7 year olds, even when Jagex enforce that you must be 13 years or older.If you still play it, stop, serious, if you play that game you need a life. Its rubbish.They removed everything enjoyable in the game. Now all it is, is repetitive clicking, not my idea of fun.

It says: Can anyone find a way around this? or am i stuck?

I've just done that for all of my pages, now for some reason my page has gone completely messed up when i used the '>' symbol in some of my PHP login code: Welcome back, <?php echo $qls->user_info['username']; ?>. If i save it as .shtml the include works, but the php i use for the site login dissapears, so i either manually update every single one of my pages everytime i want to add a link in, or getting rid of my site login. Hi, i've just signed up to your hosting over the last few days, and its been very fustrating that you don't allow the directive: allow_url_include.Do you think that there could be anyway that you could turn it on? i've installed a login and hit counter script and i had to edit half of it.I also want to 'include' my page list on all of my pages, to make it easier to update them, but the only way i would be able to do this is upload a page list to every directory, which defeates the purpose.And i can't use SSI because i can't use PHP with SHTML for some reason.Please help me with a solution, or just turn it on for me

First of all get your facts straight before posting:- Andrew Gower owns Jagex.- Its not just programmed in c++, its programmed mainly in java.- Its an ex-great game, go back a year and a half and it was the best game out there.Jagex hit the distract button at christmas, they destroyed everything that made the game special, all it is now is repetivly clicking, hardly anyones idea of fun?Your not level 127, anyone still playing at level 90+ needs a break, after those updates its only the people with no lifes playing (no offence), thats just my view.

Why do you still play?I quit, and i had just made 30m in 2 1/2 weeks, it takes a lot of training, but its well worth it.Get 80 hunter, then go to puro puro, and do the mini-game. You'll make 200k+ an hour, its luck dependent, i made 3m in an hour, another time i made 50k.But its well worth it.

I use Internet Explorer 7, its good, but i've heard a lot of people say its not very secure, and that i should get Firefox......can anyone confirm whether Firefox is better than Internet Explorer?Personally, because its developed by Microsoft i trust it.

I am an addicted video games player....BUT...I completely agree, what is the point of playing, i could be revising for my KS3 SATS (U.K) instead.The problem is, people who do play it don't think this, they just turn it on, if they thought about it, what is the point of playing this game, then there is none.I play it because my friends do, i can play with them, which makes it fun and sociable.Take that out of the equation and i'd stop.

I've hear that Sony Vegas is good, but its only a free trial unless you want to buy it.Its a temporary solution until you get a new laptop i suppose.
