  1. How on earth do you create HTML emails?I have been searching Google for some time now and can find ABSOLUTELY no information what so ever on how to ACTUALLY create HTML content emails. It just a bunch of programs and Microsoft applications, or testing facilities, I don't need any of this, there must be some coding system to it?I tried emailing using basic direct HTML tags (like <b>), but it fails (it just shows <b>), so how can I do this?I am not looking for anything really fancy, I just want to use some basic bolding and font changes and things to make it look a little more professional and thought out.Can you use CSS also? There has to be a way, hopefully someone here knows lol.
  2. More MMORPG's, these things are just far too common these days. When is something truly unieque and worth playing going to come about? Will it be one of you? lol.
  3. It's not just about that. Why test on Xisto and strain your time and servers when you can build everything locally, it's just better in so many ways I won't even get into it.But you may also want to ask from friends or colleagues to test it out for you and rather than have to upload the changes or whole thing to a web server all the time, you want it setup so they can access straight from where you are working and see instant changes.
  4. Well I'm not Indian or Hindu for that matter, and as of right now I have no idea what Diwali is lol (some sort of celebration over an event?).But uhh yes a happy Diwali to you to! (I just hope it's nothing bad LOL).
  5. So you could probably buy around 8 of those with your cash. Wow that's not bad at all..... The cheapest Core 2 Duo's in the AUD range is from $157 to around a grand, so i'd say about what $250 average (Don't think you'd be talking about the top of the line). Well I would say you certainly do have enough to get yourself some decent equipment, india was it? Just going to look at what kind of pricing an online indian store has (one in Bharat or however it is spelt here: http://www.itonlinestore.com/rg-erdr.php?_rpo=t). Ok so 39,314.99 INR, let's take a look at their products: Wow Core 2 Duo CPU's are like minimum 7500 INR here lol, the Pentium 4's are about 3k-4.5k INR. Allright mobo for about 2300 INR or so. 7300GS 256mb nVidia card for about 4k INR (that's AGP though). So yeah (well I am unsure if these are INR, it doesn't state that but it looks that way, pity they didn't have a larger product range), but if you buy smartly, and look things out and compare, make a few lists of compatible parts setups and see where you are at. Ummm in regards to the hardware you originally listed, I think you can get that stuff from the list easily within that budget if I am right about the above mentioned site being in INR currency, EASILY! If your not heavily after the latest Core 2 Duo and things like that, it looks like you have quite a bit of spending room my friend.
  6. Do you have any general price comparisons in the USD range (as in what might a cpu or graphics card cost in USD where you intend on purchasing).Just like your average Intel/AMD etc, would give us all a really good idea how far it can stretch.
  7. Well seen as it brakes the site up pretty badly, I guess some sort of alignment could be an issue.I did test out a few different possibilities, but with being capped on speed and especially this ISP (it's mostly great otherwise) it's not very stable when capped, so it is hard just to load up this page lol (let alone a CSS reference).
  8. There is a chance they could be promoting or selling a/product(s) that are not on that OS, so what point is their in showing it to a user from a completely different user base? Is one piece of software going to change someones mind? They'd have to be pretty stupid....... or it'd have to be done darn good program. Fact is I could knock Mac users off my site probably, everything I generally make is for Windows so most of it is no use, what they might use an emulator? Well that isn't my issue, that's theirs , maybe they dual boot? Go look at the software on Windows then, it won't work on Mac anyway . It's an odd thing to do, but at the end of the day there are reasons, even if there are stupid ones, it is their choice.
  9. It would require too many files, they aren't simple HTML files, but much of PHP/mySQL, Javascript, CSS and XHTML.It would take too long for one person that go through it all and find the issue.Hence why I was hoping someone has just had a similar issue and may identify it, or a possibility. It was actually a problem even when it was simpler code, but I didn't have time to leave it, and I found a way around. So if no one knows of the issue being possible, I will just leave it as is, but everything else works except for a table. So if no one has come across this, then there probably won't be an answer until someone else is stuck in the same position and find its, but isn't necessary for me. Just thought I would ask.
  10. Yeah I did try things like that, to see if some of the core CSS code or out element div tags and things had somehow had an adverse effect, but that doesn't seem to be the case.Unless their is something CSS specific that can cause this kind of issue. That's why I posted hoping someone might have come across this type of issue before and may have already had some answers.
  11. Oh I see what you mean, I should have tried that. I just haven't had that issue before, it might be something specific to how the code/tags are layed out and branched.I have ended up using a simple but reasonably nice looking DIV table (even though it is for tabular data), but if I can get the tables to work, it would be much better source wise and give me more options with less garbage.
  12. Twitch, it is only illegal in the UK to my knowledge, no one else as adopted that silly accesaibility law. It's nice to make a well built and accessible website, but if someone doesn't want to, they shouldn't have to, it's not a place dominated with serious adult business (like a shopping center where strict rules must apply), there is gamers, bloggers, children running their own websites etc.Oh and btw, It works perfectly for me in FireFox 2.0.0.9 unless I am missing something.....
  13. Well it looks like he is from India, so we have no idea which particular currency he speaks of (perhaps USD) and which country he intends to buy from (I assume his own), where we don't know of the conversion rate.If your board supports Dual Channel RAM, I would go for that, in either 2x512mb matching dual channel modules or 2x1024mb matching duel channel modules.Definitely go for a larger Hard Disk (just whack it in for storage I suppose). As for the main board and processor I am unsure, they don't sound too bad to me. Firstly I would go check out the manufacturer website of the main board and check out it's support CPU list.
  14. I use the spell checker also. But it never likes half of my words (like Colour etc) as I am not American or from what ever standard it uses by default. I'm actually not even sure if I can change it lol, I should probably look into it.
  15. Don't forget Japan may have different sockets and things for power, so you might need adapters or replacement cables. Also I bought a cheap second hand computer here that appeared to be Japanese, with Windows XP, but no matter what I tried, I could not get it to go English.I'm not sure if it was hard-coded somehow but it really gave me the cramps lol, I ended up pulling it apart and keeping the bits and bobs for spare parts.Anyway, Good luck!!!!!
  16. Well i'll put it this way: <table> <tr> <td> </td> </tr></table> Brakes the entire layout....., even if I set borders, padding, margins etc, it all makes no difference, the whole page just goes nuts. But I don't use anything at all in it to do with tables or even remotely close, so I don't know why a table or it's inner elements would cause issues.
  17. Hello,I am building a form where a user selections several options (it uses javascript to modify checkbox values based on other selections). At the end I need to re-generate html code based on the selected form values, I don't particularly care what way it's done (although my site is XHTML 1.0 Transitional), but I need it to update on the fly as they change options. The HTML code is Google AdSense code, and I am trying to build my own from to generate all the different ad types and generate the code (it's not just for me). What kind of options do I have? If I wanted to say just generate it below the form, and have it update with new changes when they make them?
  18. The entire layout is DIV/CSS based. The issue is I ACTUALLY need tabular data now but using TABLE HTML tag brakes the entire layout despite not using anything related to TABLEs yet.So i'm looking to make TABULAR data using DIV/CSS.Which I have managed using a whole lot of lol.
  19. Does anyone know how I might create a HTML table but using pure CSS (div's and what not).I really have no idea why, but for some odd reason my layout goes nuts if I try to use the table tags, even used properly with no errors the whole thing just brakes down (I don't use tables anywhere). So I figured my only option is to attempt to do it CSS way if possible?
  20. I think I better contact them and ask for the right one then lol.I don't particularly want to have it slower and consuming more bandwidth.
  21. lol certainly not.I don't remember legally blonde much but it sounds like a good laugh.
  22. Wireless router would be expensive, I already have a modem/router but it's not wireless for net.
  23. I would never run it myself either.Heard nothing but bad things about, I am really surprised it is still going......
  24. So that stops all auto-run applications?I never knew about that, but I don't think I would want them all not running generally.
