There was time in my life when I wanted to be a Police Woman. But thats looong gone. Lol.Nowdays I've got a few things I want to be when Im older.Firstly theres a Graphic Designer. I love working with Photoshop and creating graphics, so Graphic Making would definately be asomthing I'd enjoy. I'm fairly creative and theres always a need for someone to make graphics. Plus I could work from home, or overseas while Im on holiday and email it to clients. It sounds pretty fun.Secondly I've got a bit of a plan to go to Third World COuntries as a Nurse. I really, really want to help out overseas in the Third World Countries to help people in need. And Medical help is such a good way to help because it means I could help alot of people. The only bad bit about it is the four year Uni Course. I only wanted to go for a couple years or so so four years for half of that doesn't seem very appealing. My friend and I worked out that I was going to write a journal everyday and turn it into a book :)Thirdly, I've always been good at writing stories and written work in general so I'd love to be an Author. I've already got a great idea for a novel. Something like a journalist would be awesome aswell. I'd love to work in an office (just like the movies) and perhaps met my Clarke Kent. Lol. The Uni journalism course runs off into so many different sections so a journalist course at Uni would set me up for uhndreds of different oppertunities! My fourth interest is counselling. I'm really interesting in Phycology and how the brain works. The brains reactions and functions are really fascinating to me. So that would definately be another option.I've got too many options!! But I've got plenty of time to decide still, I'm only fourteen

I was thinking about strange dreams just now, and I remembered one I think that had a while ago. It starts off in our house. But its not really our house because its got two storie's and our house is only single story. I'm walking down the stairs to the kitchen which is exactly like our kitchen, but its somewhat different. I can't really explain how. It's morning and I'm walking through the door frame when the walls start shaking madly. And suddenly our microwave is flying across the room at me. I duck in time to avoid being hit but it smashes against the fridge above me and makes the fridge start rocking slowly to and fro. It begins rocking more frequently and then it becomes un-balanced and tips down apon me. And then I woke up. I believe dreams have deep messages. Another dream I had a while ago: Im on our farm with my parents and my fathers relatives are with us. Were sitting a table celebrating somthing.. it might be Christmas. Anywho, Im sitting there and then my Grandpa passess me a plate of food except the food is meat (Im vegetarian) but it doesn't phase me, and I eat it. The dream then jumps (as dreams do ) and Im outside our house paddock with an ex-friend of mine, Kelly. She is there because her family have just bought my pony Gypsy. She's thrilled aobut getting a pony and she's laughing. I'm a little jealous, so I smirk to myself and go saddle up my (much bigger) horse Mac. And I start galloping past her and cantering in circles. Basically showing off. I was very satisfied with myself. And then I woke up. I think my second dream is about me growing up, but not wanting to. I'm trying to move on from my childhood but part of me just wants to be that little girl from the past and ride her pony. I say 'the past' because of the presence of my ex-friend. What are your thoughts on dreams? Care to share any interesting ones?

I think pets do. Our dog Sparky, who is now deceased, used to sleep and her cheeks would puff out everynow and again as if she were barking and her legs would momve as if running. It looked really cute but definately proved to me that aminals have dreams. I read a while ago when I was doing a project on dreaming about an experiment with monkeys trying to see if they actully dreampt. I've just tried searching for it on Google and I can't find it. bUt it was a very interesting read.I guess that beleiving if animals dream is somthing that depends on your views in life...

Nintendo Wii And Computer Screen...? Can it be done?
Evolke replied to Evolke's topic in Home & Garden
Okay thanks for that. I'm not very good with plugs and plugging things in. Ill research what my screen has to see if it will work -
I'm using my mums laptop at the moment which has three tabs for her homepage. She has Ninemsn (for some strange reason), her facebook profile and Google. I'd prefer if it was just Google so it would load quickly, but unforunately its not.

Photoshop is more than good. Photoshop is awesome! I have Photoshop Elements 5.0 and it works great for everything I want to do. I mainly work with manipulations and combine images then edit them. I actually didn't know that you could make you images so when they are uploaded onto your site they change when the mouse hovers over them. Thats awesome! Ill have to try that one out. Thanks

Constant A 3d render touched up in Photoshop
Evolke replied to encryptedwrath's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Nice :)It hsa a bit of an illusion look, to me atleast. I really like the mixture of textures. For some reason it reminded me of the Batman: The Dark Knight poster... probably because it looked a little like a city scape from birds eye view. -
Great work! It looks awesome :)I've met a few people ovre various website who make stuff with a similar looking outcome (texture wise) and they have created some pretty awesome stuff. I've always wanted to be able to make somthing like this, or a line art, but I've never had the patience to sit down and learn it. I much preffer working with photos and manipulating them together.

What's Your Favorite Game System - Console select one from each poll
Evolke replied to ICE-XG's topic in Computer Gaming
My favourite would definately be a Wii. Theres one at the gym I go to an its awesome fun! It takes game play to a whole new level. The best thing apart from being more active then sitting on the couch when you play, is your interacting with the game so much more. It feels like your in the game, rather then juts playing it. I love it! -
I was thinking of purchasing a Nintendo Wii for my room, and I was wondering if it could be linked up to my computers screen rather than a TV Screen. It would make it easire if it could be otherwise I will have t purchase a TV screen aswell, because I wsa to have it in my room rather than in the lounge room. The computer screen is aa Auriga, Model 15MA-1 if thats any help.So.. can it be done...?Thanks in advance!

LOL! Definately! I tried to list five things I would take out of our house if it were buring once (sometime ago). I picked my teddy named Grand-dad as I've had him since I was a baby. He was basically the first teddy I ever had. My picture of my Nana holding me because it was the first time she held me as a child. My budha statue- just because it means alot to me. I can't actually remember the rest. But it was really difficult for me to pick only five things. I wanted to change it to ten just so I could do it, but I thought that would be cheating What made it even more difficult was the fact I felt guilty if I took one of my teddies and not the others. I've always been fond of my few teddies. I remember when I was little I used to put all of them (like fifty+) in my bed with me at night because I felt guilty if I favoured one and cuddled only one. LOL. A little off topic.. Though thats probably why they say just to get out of the house and not take anything. Because otherwise you'll end up trying to carry everything, you'll end up dropping alot of it and the house would probabl collapse on you!

Its somthing that I've always heard about, and been told about especially at the begining of every summer. But in past years it hasn't actually sunk in, that my family does not have a fire action plan. In past years it hasn't really worried me, as I've just though if theres a fire get out of the house but lately I've been really worried about the possiblity of a fire. If the fire were to come at night, I would have no idea what to do. Out pets usually sleep in the house at night so I'd have to search for them, then theres those really close personal belonging. I know, I know they say when there is a fire forget personal possessions, but if Im in my room I might aswell grab my favourite teddies and my scrap book... and maybe my pictures.. and my favourite three dresses.. and possible my Ralph Lauren Perfume.. or maybe I'd stop after the teddy.. So Im just wondreing.. How many of you actually have a Fire Action Plan? Feel free to post any of your own fire hazard worries/experiences.

I have an idea of what your saying- though I cant say I've ever used it. Im not too sure I'd like to find out when I die or the estimation on how many years I have to live.. I feel it would restrict the way I live.

LOL! Yes, that could possible be the easier option. But as fun? Well only if someone pushing a trolley bumps against a neatly piled stack of tinned soup and stacks it. Then that would make it equally as fun-ny Yum

I thought it was about time I made myself an icon. So I had a fiddle with some shapes and things yesterday in Photoshop and what I came up with is my icon (See left). I wanted it to have a 3D Effect, but to still have a bit of me in it. Please comment/critique as Im always open to improvements. Its features: Zebra Print Pattern- I quiet like Zebras. And their apperance and build is vrey similar to horses (which I love) hence the reason for the Zebra Print. Hand Reaching Out- You may not actually be able to spot this, but in it theres a hand print reaching from the bottom left area upwards to the top ight area. It traced it around my own hand. I think in a way this relates to me reaching out to find who I am, and to have a hand finding me. Script- This sort of reffres to how theres somthing beneath the surface of me. And how as often as I am judged by my past actions, there is still somthing inside.. its just difficult to see. It also goes into my love of writing and reading. Sheepydeep- I put the sheep on it because I love sheep. Newbie- Im a Newbie to the whole 'Making a Website' scene. And Im proud of it. - I apologise if this is in the wrong Forums. I was a little lost on where to post it.

LOL True. But it would be a gradual change, no matter what language became the world wide language. It would be a change the progress ovre generations. Maybe it would mean that coding would remain in English? The numerals could remain English also. Maybe this world wide language would have to be somthing that encorperated a variety of things from multiple languages? The simplest option was selected from each language and was titled the world language for that catogoy(sp).

Very intersting. Good find! Though I must say that its not possible for a Dragonfly to ever be the size of a bike. If they were that big they wouldn't live. Insects dont have lungs, they breathe by, I believe, the higher air pressure outside the insect trying to reach the low air pressure within the insect. Thus they breathe.I learnt that the other day

Its easy for someone already speaking English to tell the world to learning English. Imagine you didn't already speak it and being told you had to learn it or you will end up cut of from the worlds communication. Its said that English is the hardest language to learn. Or one of the hardest. With puncuation and grammer that goes though the roof, one can barely disagree. The majority of the worlds population is situated in Asia, and in Chinese speaking countries. So technically, if majortiy rules, then we should all speak Chinese. Shouldn't we?

I was cleaning out my room the other day and I discovered this recipe to making ice-cream. I thought it sounded fun, even though it uses so many egg yolks, and I thought I'd share it with you all. Its a little confusing.. and I haven't yet tried to make it so I apologise if it tastes horrid. Preperation Time: ~20 minutes 1/2 Cup Caster Sugar 5 Egg Yolks 2 Cup Cream 1/2 Teaspoon vanilla Essence Beat together yolks and sugar Place cream and vanilla in a saucepan. Bring slowly to a boil. Cool slightly. Poor cream over yolk mixture. Stirring continuously in top of double saucepan over simmering water. Cook until mixture coats the back of the spoon. Pour into plastic containor and freeze. When I was at a friends house we made ice-cream in an ice-cream maker she has. So having one of those makes it very easy. If I can get therecipe off her Ill post it. Enjoy!

Really, I don't have a specific brand that I must always like, and that I must always buy. I buy whatever shoe I feel comfortable in, and that does what itssupposed to do proprely. At the moment my sports shoes are actually Brooks. In my opinion Brooks make great quality shoes that work great and last long. Most of the Brooks runners is see have Mogo in them which is so much better for your feet. They give it extra cushioning, and let it move naturally. But out of Nike or Adidas I'd say Nike. Just because I like their logo

It probably is.. but I try to just find myself a section I enjoy, that can be posted on all the time without your post being months and months out of date. It is a tad annoying because oyur making a comment on a posted, then you discovre its about 3 years old. I'd love it if there was a way to delete our old post's (perhaps there is and Im missing it..?). Just to clean it up a little. Mostly I post on the most active forums, and sometimes in the Cooking Section with my recipies and in the Graphics/Manipulations sections. Yes it is a good thing. Variety means everyone will find somthing they like. On this one I completely agree with you. I find it very confusing. Hence my reason for barely making any forums discussions and mainly comtributing to them. I dont really worry about this. Everyone has a diffreent opinion and some people have the same one. So long as your not actually copying the persons input I dont thinks theres much wrong with contributing similar posts. It may also benifit the discussion poster for having two opinions the same, especially if they want opinions on good programs etc. I thought it was very funny. I an annoying, loud mouthed, screaching blonde. But I dont really care

Well, Im in Australia so I don't follow the American Election that much. But I like the sound of Obama apposed. He sounds like a nice bloke.. I don't like that other guy too much. He's doesn't seem to have the right fire to hm that Obama does. Obama seems alot more passionate. The other guys a little plastic. Thats my opinion though.Well done to Obama by the way

Arkkk... I could try answer this quesions and spend hours thinking about it.. not that I would Really, the question probably should be, Which came first The Chicken, The Egg or the Rooster, because without a Rooster there could not prossibly be a fertilised egg to produce the chicken. With that said I'd have to say The Chickn and the Rooster came first... although it depends how many eggs there are. If theres just the one egg, even if its a female or male, the species would be pretty much dead because it wouldn't have a partner to mate with. So the question could also be, Which came first The Chicken, Two Eggs or The Rooster. And if that was the case, I'd say the Two Eggs. Only if they were opposite sexes though.. otherwise.. it'd probably be The Chicken.. though only if theres a Rooster... Heh
