I play the banana flute.

I didn't catch the "...and why?" in the title. I like Sin City because the plot is engaging and the cinematography is masterful. Not to mention the fabulous production quality. I ♥ Huckabees is hilarious and insightful. The soundtrack is perfect. Mark Wahlberg is fantastic in this film. Unfortunately, the majority of people to whom I've shown this film have hated it. Immortel is bizarre. Half live-action and half CGI; Egyption gods meet interdimensional travelers.

Finger Found In A Bowl Of Chili! Eeeeewwwwww
clagnol replied to elevenmil's topic in General Discussion
What's the big deal? Cannibalism is illegal in most industrialized countries, so when you find a finger in your food, it's like, "Hey, I finally get to try human!"Count your good fortune and munch on. Most other people will never get that opportunity! -
Google Art=overboard Google Artwork is no longer a special thing.
clagnol replied to miakelye's topic in Search Engines
I like the art. It makes the page more fun to look at.That having been said, have you all noticed that you can click on the special Google logos to reveal a search about the holiday/event in question? Well, I clicked on the logo once when it was celebrating something about Julia fractals, and the search displayed a bunch of websites about Julia fractals. The websites at the top of the list were down because their servers couldn't handle the flood of visitors from Google. I think someone has coined a word to describe these unintentional Google DOS attacks, but it escapes me at the moment. -
When you say 5th year high school students, do you mean people that have flunked a year of high school, or is there such a thing as a five-year high school? That's kind of an odd peeve. Does it sound too masculine, to you? I can identify with that one, sammaye. What's a Chav? Is that UK slang? My three things are: 1. Weak women 2. Disloyalty 3. Unwarranted malice (if you have a reason for hating me, then by all means, do your worst, but if I've done nothing that could be miscontrued as malicious, then why do you call me pig-f***er every time you see me?)

10 Cents A Search? is it true u have to pay
clagnol replied to jaybird92185's topic in Search Engines
Can you imagine an internet that requires you to pay for each link you click? That would be worse than the pay toilets I keep hearing about in Europe. -
The best reply when a fellow talks about his relationship problems is to shake your head softly and sigh, then say "Women." Even if you don't understand the problem at hand.Unless he's gay. I still have trouble expressing empathy in those situations, but I'll figure something out, eventually.

More information would be helpful, like the versions of Firefox you and your friend are running and the url of the page in question. I have had a few CSS problems with Firefox in its pre-1.0 stages.

I suppose it could have been Paintshop Pro...

Just today I installed the most recent version of Peer Guardian, which is a program dedicated to blocking unwanted connections to my computer. It is similar in nature to a firewall, though it primarily relies on lists of IP ranges which it deems to be malicious.Right after I started Peer Guardian, I found that I could not connect to Xisto or my Xisto-hosted site. My Peer Guardian log says this about Trap 17 (69.50.170.197): "ATRIVOTECHNOLOGIES[CWStrojans-wide-SN-Split7], dea". Upon googling "Atrivo Technologies" I found many complaints about malicious activities originating from Atrivo's IP block. And CWS is an Internet Explorer hijacker, from what I can piece together. Some webmasters are blocking Atrivo IPs from accessing their websites and programs that rely on large block lists (e.g. eMule, Peer Guardian) seem to be doing the same.Consequentially, Peer Guardian users (and users of similar services [do similar services exist?]) who have their software set to "block HTTP" are unable to view all Xisto websites. I'm not sure how substantial the Peer Guardian-using demographic is, but still, it's a bummer. My guess is that Atrivo is just doing a poor job of weeding out its service's numerous abusers, so it's just easier for everyone else to ban the entire IP range.Does anyone else have any thoughts on this?

That all depends on what you want your greeting card site to do. What do you want it to do?

Haha! I didn't even notice that the first time. Those are definitely not natural legs. But if they were, I bet she would run like the dickens.

I Bought A Domain Name And Need Help Step by step help for a layman
clagnol replied to choetry's topic in Web Hosting Support
My domain was accessible almost immediately after switching my nameservers. It wasn't even 10 minutes after I changed the nameservers that I was able to access my main page. You could say that my domain name is an aphrodisiac, because it leads to rapid propagation. Hardy har har, okay I'll be quiet now. -
Paypal Scam Spam Warning, beware of emails as such...
clagnol replied to JaVe's topic in Security issues & Exploits
I actually haven't heard of that particular scam. The ones I get generally start with the premise that there is a great deal of money from an inheritance that I can claim if I provide my bank account information to the person who sent the email. Often there are religious undertones, e.g. they will type something like "my brother in Christ". It's a pretty lame scam, but apparently it works, because I get tons of these emails. -
Paypal Scam Spam Warning, beware of emails as such...

Count yourselves lucky, guys. I would take phishing emails over the Nigerian scam artist that focus on me, any day. These Nigerians aren't even trying anymore. You can tell their hearts aren't in it. -
Hoverboard Hoverboard inspired from Back to the future 2
clagnol replied to deadmetalmx's topic in Science and Technology
The link is here. As dangerous as it probably is, I can't help but wish I had one of these for my own. It's a good thing I'm so lazy or I might actually build one of these things. -
Braingate Technology to help quadriplegic persons
clagnol replied to Argoth's topic in Science and Technology
In the future, not having a chainsaw attached to your arm will be considered a disability. Not being able to shoot laser beams out of your eyes will be a disability. The inability to jump 60 feet in the air will be grounds to obtain your disability license plate. If you can't beat a gorilla at a fistfight in the world of tomorrow, then you might as well start drawing your paycheck from the government and settle down to a life of staying home all day with your pets, because you will be useless, as far as society at large is concerned. -
When you click "Check My Email", it should produce a popup window that shows you a bunch of advertising and then it is supposed to go to your inbox (but what it actually does for me is show a server error). Maybe your popup settings aren't allowing the window to pop up?

I clicked on your link and Firefox sent an error message that said pspsad.com could not be found. You added an "s" in your link's url. This edit looks like a job for... a moderator!

I wouldn't call it a "war game". More of a fantasy-themed MMORPG Everquest clone. But yeah, I'd agree with you that it is boring.

I signed up for an hriders.com account about a month or two ago. So far, it has not lived up to its 500 mB attachment claim in the least. Despite many attempts, I could not configure an SMTP account with my email client (Thunderbird), so I conclude that they do not offer SMTP. So the only option is trying to send attachments via their web interface. Even trying to attach a 5 mB attachment is iffy with that method. So if you're wanting to back up your mp3 collection, I would advice you to be prepared to send each mp3 individually. Furthermore, the last time I checked my hriders.com inbox, it read as completely empty. Every email I've recieved at that account is MIA. Of course, if you have this problem, you are still lucky, as it means that the system has let you log in at all! I've been getting a lot of these errors, lately: Yes, 1 terabyte of email storage is a sensational claim. Unfortunately, I don't think that the Hellacious Riders have any intentions of keeping their promises. They're pretty good at riding motorcycles, though.
