  1. yuv heard so much about them and wat they are nd wat they do the life sukers from space but nob ody as ever seen 1 mayb there not holes at all but jus dense places in space mayb there alien portals ( gettin star trekky now) 2 another world or mayb there exactly how they picture them over pictures and tv...well no 1 knws do u???

These are some of the most widely researched topics in that field.
The scientific community has a lot to tell about the black holes. You should take a look at the very big article in the Wikipedia about the black hole. Link below.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_hole

Impressive. SOme of the stuff goes over my head and beyond my level of understanding... But its interesting to read. Lots of Physics knowledge and interest to explore and know this stuff will help a lot. :)

  2. This topic is interesting.

Basically it depends on what you were looking for. Most of the time, people are worried about getting the results they want and are very keen on the search results and hardly look at these sponsored results most of the time... Even if they look they do not get the desired results - The sponsored results also show the link of the webpage it gets directed to and if they already know about a particular website and they feel it might not be of that much use, they do not prefer visiting it.

There are few reasons why and why not people visit the sponsored results.

Reason one - Sometimes they are not relevant

Since the ads are created based on the amount paid and key word relevance decided by ad publishers, there is no guarantee that all the sponsored links might be related. Yeah... I know some people might not agree with me. I will give a very practical example.

Say for example i have a company which manufactures fertilizers and when I pay a lot for technology/ software related keywords and display my website. So obviously my website will be displayed when someone is searching for a website related to softwares/ technologies... So, this is basically like bribing Google to show your/ our result on the home page. That is one reason people do not keep them on high regard and give more value... rather trust the actual results which we believe are not tampered in any way... except for the Google Algorithm which is a black box :)

Reason two - People know what they want

Most of the times, searches are very specif and the ones searching know exactly what they want and get it very quickly from the search results and there is no reason why they have to look for sponsored results. Sponsored results are very useful in case of campaigns. Say for example a company is already very famous for its x and y product and it introduces a product called z and it makes sense to advertise them in sponsored results. This basically kindles interest from reguar users to know more about the product and might click. Again... it depends...

Reason three - Not all sponsored results have answers

Not all sponsored results have answers to your questions. A website without much worth will not hold for long in peoples mind. Even if it shows up in sponsored results... people will eventually come to know that its not worth it and might not click it... it might help to advertise there during the initial stages... At the later stages... you might have to let the website speak for itself.

I also have a similar questions.

How many of you click ads inside your Gmail? I ask this because... atleast in case of search engines you are searching for something and you get these results... but in case of Mails you are reading your mails and there is not reason why you have to click the ads that show up... Yeah... if you are jobless enough and not enough mails to read in your inbox, you might click these ads. :D

  3. Yeah... agreed that these sites are some of these sites you have mentioned are heavy. But when you start looking at the features... Do you really think you can avoid such growth of file sizes? I am sure companies like Facebook, Yahoo would have given a serious thought about the file sizes, load times etc. But there has to be a trade off between features etc and a site becoming heavy. The best example of a very simple and fast loading site is Google's search home page... but as you know it does not have much to showcase in its home page - Mostly text, text boxes and some buttons. Same applies to the search results also... Mostly it is only text. Whereas in case of other sites like Facebook, Gmail, Yahoo Mail etc... so much of information, has to be loaded. The UI itself takes up lot of bandwidth and then comes the data which takes time to load... Now with the AJAX and other related technologies the applications are pre-fetching a lot of data which means it also downloads data which you might or might not use... but if you us it is going to be faster. Say in case of Gmail, the initial load time might be a little longer, but the usage later is completely efficient and user friendly. Basically this is how the web is evolved... and the scapegoats are the ones who do not upgrade their hardware and internet connectivity.May be what companies can do is to have a light version of all the applications they develop. If you have seen, Gmail and Orkut have a light/ simples version where lots of UI has been scraped and loads only the important stuff. May be other web companies can learn this from Google. I have not used MySPace and other social networks... So.. cannot comment on that.

  4. This is a really tricky question to answer but why don't you try once :) Most of you here knows that when you search for something in google, you get two sets of results. One contains the ordinary web-page listings while another contains the sponsored web-page listings, which gives google employees their fat pay-checks :D In my experience, I have found that most of the time clicking on the sponsored listings is of no use at all, because they hardly ever show me what I'm searching for. Their titles are misleading most of the time and so I have stopped even looking at them and go through the ordinary listings.

Then again, this might not be applicable for all the keywords. Sometimes the sposored listings could save you time and get you what you're looking for in an instant. It all depends onthe keyword. So how often do you click on these listings, knowing that you're profiting google? :P Ever since I got bad results I stopped clicking on any ads at all, so google's been getting a loss of maybe few cents due to me! But when I'm, not getting what I'm looking for, why should I give profit to someone else? That's my argument.

I think I might as well add another question - do you think the sponsored listings are useful to you? Not to google, but you! They will attract you and tempt you with their clever titles and in some cases flashy banners, but will you fall in the trap?!!!

  5. yeah... Xisto is cool. I am one of the most satisfied customers. I have been with Xisto for more than 1 year (I started my hosting account 1 month after I signed as a member) now and it was my first web hosting experience. I am very satisfied, I never considered moving away from trap 17. Now i have 3 products with them. One domain and 2 hosting services.

Below are my sites... Both of them are hosted in Xisto with a basic plan since I did not require more space and bandwidth.

    http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
    http://www.computerkindness.org/

Have been through lots of learning after i started hosting websites. I am glad that I chose Xisto. People have gone through *BLEEP* before getting a good hosting provider. I was lucky in that case...

The customer support is again one of the best. Till now I have raised around 3-4 support tickets and all of them got the first response in 1 or 2 days and ggot resolved in 1-2 days from the day of the first response. I would any day recommend Xisto to others. I have been recommending it to many people for long.

Don't you see that I am still contributing in the forums. :(. I might not be regular in posting, but i never fail to visit the forum on a daily basis and make some occasional posts.

  6. Dental health is as important as general health. We must take care of our teeth because we are provided with only one natural set. Proper dental care and hygiene can keep teeth healthy for a lifetime.

Dental plaque is a soft, sticky, colorless film of bacteria that is formed on the teeth. The bacteria multiply rapidly in this film and can cause infections. The dental plaque has to be removed within 10-14 hours by brushing or else it hardens to form calculus or tartar. Once formed, calculus cannot be removed by normal brushing but has to be removed by scaling by a dentist.

Scaling or prophylaxis is the procedure of removing calculus (tartar), plaque and stains from the teeth. Tooth scaling is part of professional tooth cleaning. Everyday brushing and flossing is vital to maintain good oral hygiene. Lack of proper daily dental care can lead to the formation of dental plaque.

Scaling is a procedure used to remove infected deposits like plaque, calculus and stains from the tooth surfaces. If they are not removed by scaling, these deposits cause infection and loosening of the gums, ultimately leading to tooth loss. Scaling makes gums healthy and firm. Scaling is a safe and routine procedure and does not damage the tooth surface. But it must be done by a dental professional.

Polishing of tooth surfaces is used to make tooth surfaces smooth. This makes it more difficult for plaque to accumulate on the teeth to cause decay or gum disease.

When scaling and polishing is done, it is like cleansing the teeth deep. Dentists use special tools to remove the calculus (tartar) then give the teeth a thorough polish. Areas below the gum line, behind the teeth and gaps in between the teeth are thoroughly cleaned as these are the regions commonly untouched by normal brushing.

A routine dental check-up once in six months is advisable. The dentist will be able to advise whether scaling has to be done. It can be done once in six months and followed up by reviewing after six months.

Yeah... it is good to clean it by a professional dentist from time to time, but not frequently. Best way to maintain your teeth is to provide it with the right nutrients by eating healthy food. Brushing your teeth twice a day and keep away from germs and bad breath.

Getting it cleaned by a professional frequently might cause some problem to the enamel and other parts of the teeth. It is also recommended that you visit a proper practitioner to make sure right steps are followed and proper care is taken when it is done.

  7. Do you wash your teeth? Why? How much on a day? When, in the morning (after sleeping), in the night (before sleeping), after eating... I wash my teeth every day after sleeping in the morning and sometimes after eating (depends what im eating). I wash my teeth because i don't want my breath to smell bad and i want to have healthy teeth's.

This topic is a bit strange.... but still I have seen such topics in Xisto from time to time. Its a welcome change from mundane topics. :excl:

But I was a bit curious after reading "Wash your teeth"... Do you wash your teeth or brush your teeth? Need not answer this. Was curious... and I know the answer. Another point was "How much"... Shouldn't it be like "How many?" :(.

Yeah... I know you meant.. "How many".

Usually it is recommended to brush your teeth twice in a day. But generally people do it only once in the morning after they get back from their sleep. That is what has been taught to them from the beginning. Doctors recommend to brush your teeth twice. I have this interesting information to share... Few years back, one of my friends was giving me this interesting piece of info... regarding brushing your teeth multiple times....

Guess what the interesting piece of info was?

Not to brush your teeth multiple times. Recommended is only once per day. The reason being us spoiling the enamel (You want to know what an enamel is? - It is more like an outer protective coat for the teeth - If you want to get more information on Enamel -- Link here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tooth_enamel) of the teeth. Another piece of info. Friend of mine is a dentist and there was no arguing. POint taken halfheartedly... But why do so many websites an doctors recommend brushing your teeth twice? Main reason being our mouth not being cleaned after we have food and the germs have more free time to act on them during the night.

But if you want an apt answer... please read the below link. It is from about.com and I am sure there has to be some credibility to the attached info...

    http://dentistry.about.com/od/

    Hope this helps.

And coming to your question.... How many times do I brush?

Usually only once. Sometimes twice. depending on what I eat for dinner and when it is so boring and someone raises concern about such things. Like your topic today. Brushing my teeth now.

  8. Hello!!! I am Bobi from Macedonia, this forum is so great place, respect and regards to admins and all members who contribute to that :(Cya

Welcome to Xisto forums. Thanks for the compliment about the users etc. Its users like you who make this forum a great place to hang around.
Keep posting and keep it clean.

    Welcome again.

  9. I've didn't watch this movie, but according to the review sure it's good. Terminator, as kid i loved the movie very much :excl: My favourite scene was when the kid with a dirt bike (i love dirt bikes) runs from the bad guy (the bad guy was with truck i think) and from nowhere comes Terminator with a Hurley Davidson and save's him from the bad guy. Then i remember the last scene when Terminator gonna shut down him by entering a meltet hot metal (like lava) and the movie end's. :( What do you think about Terminator Salvation and the older Terminator movies?

The movie was not that great. It was OK. Could have been better.

The sound and visual effects were good. But the story was not convincing enough...

The Arnold machine was very obvious... Overall i would give a rating of 2.5 on a scale of 5.

Hope the future versions are better... assuming that there is one.

    Comparison:

When I have to compare this with the other movies that got released at the same time... X-Men was better than this.

Did any of you guys watch Transformers 2?

If so... how good is the movie?

  10. Apart from the existing bigtime social networks, there are millions of small social networks in the making and do not know when the will come to the limelight. These are in the initial stage and have good scope/ potential if the model is good and tuned for customers/ users need.

Say for example, I have been following few tech blogs (links below) and I encounter atleast one new social network everyday.

    https://techcrunch.com/
    http://killerstartups.com/
    https://gigaom.com/

Above are few of the sites. But there are millions of them.
Start following and you will know which network has been launched and in which country.

  11. Depends upon what you want and where your friends are clogged.
Again... not any social network site is perfect. Everytime one or the other hits the headlines and people cling to it.

It was Yahoo sometime back... Then came AOl... Ask... and now Google. Again not for long. There are services in the making which will take over Google.
Likewise for Social networks. It was hi5, MySpace, Orkut and now Facebook is the talk of the town. Twitter has its own effect where people clog. Some of the celebrities joined twitter and lots of people started signing in to twitter... God know what is next.

But i think, Twitter has a way with people. There are so many interesting things in twitter. Say for example...

    1. Twitter account to get real time news instantly -- https://mobile.twitter.com/i/nojs_router?path=%2FBreakingNews
    2. Twitter account to get daily interesting information -- https://mobile.twitter.com/i/nojs_router?path=%2Fdailydidyouknow

Above are some of the interesting accounts and there are millions like this.

So, any popular site is based on demand. Any site that understands and works towards the needs of people will become a hit.
Lets see what are all the different sites that will float in the future.

  12. When ever I go on the internet and say for example I typed in games on google whenever i click on a link nothing will happen. Or if I look for a link on this site and click it nothing will happen (it won't freeze just nothing will happen) or it might say page can't be displayed. I went to internet options and looked and the restricted site zone and changed it to medium a pop up came and said that the recomended site level was high and it changed back to high.

The only time i can get to a site is if I put the link in the address bar and still somethings on the site are not shown and the information bar asks me what i want to do.

Does anyone know what is causeing this and if so how to fix it.

Couple of things you should check...

    1. Check your internet settings.

Check your internet settings. If everything is right and you are sure it has nothing to do with the connection, then proceed with the others stuff. Also, check with your provider or ask your friends in the neighborhood to see if the sites are loading properly for them... If yes, you have to move to the next problem. Its quite possible that the problem is with the provide and not with your system/ browser. It is also important to check if these sites are blocked/ restricted in your country. Again, this possibility is rare.

    2. Check your browser settings.

If you are sure that your connection settings are correct, its time to check your browser settings. Depending upon the browser you use... make sure you explore all the browser settings. Check for the level of security for accessing the websites. If it is low, make it medium. Check if you have allowed to execute scripts and enabled Java in your browser. If you have not, that could be the reason for the trouble. If you are very sure that all the setting are right you might have to install another browser to check if the problem is with the browser or with something else...

If your problem persists with another browser too, then God save you. Its quite possible that the resource you are trying to access itself is down.

    3. Check the resource you are trying to access

This is highly unlikely, but not impossible. So, do check if the resource you are trying to access is present. How do you do it? Many ways to do this. Below is a site which will help you do that.

    http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/

Down for everyone or just me is a very useful website which will help to know if a particular website is down only for you are everywhere.

    Hope this helps.

And regarding the browser, if you are considering one... I would suggest Firefox.

  13. I am not very sure as to why you have to split it o your own? When you connect two machines and start using the bandwidth, it will be shared automatically. Basically... Bandwidth is used based and need and request. Also, if you fix it, some of the bandwidth might get wasted as one system might need more bandwidth and the other less. Hope that makes sense.

  14. Its a tough question I should say. there are tons of services that these companies provide and I do not think that they will have a single universal solution that they will have for all these services. they might have some set of resources to use and they might be free to pick one from them... but a single one for all... highly unlikely.Also... both these companies embrace Open Source a lot. So... the technologies might be inclined towards open source. These companies also have the capability to build their own/... so... why not build and use their own customized solution. Quite possible. Cannot be neglected as it can happen. My guess would be MySQL, postgre SQL or something like that.

  15. Hey people I am creating my website and I found it is very difficult. I have seen contact us forms in website.

And I am also trying to make that for my website visitors but I came to know that it is very difficult.

Can any body help me to create that?

You can also give me link where to learn that.

ok. I have got a proven solution for that. There are few ways you can do that.

    1. Create your own form

    2. Use existing solutions - Get the code from others or use a web service

Below I am explaining as to how to go about this.

    1. Creating your own form.

Like others said, you can use some scripting language to do this. Though it is very simple and easy... there are easier ways of doing this. So... I will give you that one in details instead of you have to work on this. If you still insist on working on this... Check some online tutorials.

    2. Using an existing web service.

http://www.emailmeform.com/ is one of the very good services. I am currently one of the users and have deployed it in 2 of my websites and it works without any mess. There are lots of advantages in using this. Most of them are listed down in the site and I am recommend you to give a try on this service before trying any other service or coding it on your own...

Below are some of the Benefits

    1. No Programming required!

    2. Works with any web hosting account

    3. Stop 100% Spam!

    4. Tons of features and FREE!

    and lots more...

There might be other similar service. But I recommend this one.

  16. @len - yeah I think the photographer took these pictures individually and created a mosaic art in flickr. Very creative.True ... There are softwares to do or get this effect. But whats the fun in doing that. :lol:Its about having to do it on your own and showcase it. I think the person has brilliantly used the flickr base to showcase his pictures. For God's sake I will not believe it is a coincidence. he took the pictures keeping flickr in his mind. And @len - Thanks for letting me know about the Mosaic art.

  17. Yeah true. But there are instances where this is true and happens. I happen to have friends who do this and are prosperous. :lol:Say for example, One of my friends has shifted 3 jobs in 1 year and have survived and is being well paid for what he does... But I have to agree with you that shifting jobs is not fruitful on a long run.

  18. Recently stumbled upon this in Youtube and thought some of them (especially students) might be interested in this. Here is a nice visualization of quick and bubble sort.

    http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

More on them in the wiki links below.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quick_sort

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bubble_sort

Do watch some of the other visualizations that are present in the related videos. They are very informative and nice.

  19. Its a forward and not my views. Thought few might like it. So... Here it is for you to participate in it.

This is more related to a person in India and companies in India. This scenario may or may not work/ suit in other companies. So, I expect the reader to keep that in mind when reading this topic and expect the same when replying to this. Some, rather most organizations reject his CV today because he has changed jobs frequently (10 in 14 years). My friend, the ‘job hopper’ (referred here as Mr. Johnson), does not mind it…. well he does not need to mind it at all. Having worked full-time with 10 employer companies in just 14 years gives Mr. Johnson the relaxing edge that most of the ‘company loyal’ employees are struggling for today. Today, Mr. Johnson too is laid off like some other 14-15 year experienced guys – the difference being the latter have just worked in 2-3 organizations in the same number of years. Here are the excerpts of an interview with Mr. Johnson:

Q: Why have you changed 10 jobs in 14 years?

A: To get financially sound and stable before getting laid off the second time.

Q: So you knew you would be laid off in the year 2009?

A: Well I was laid off first in the year 2002 due to the first global economic slowdown. I had not got a full-time job before January 2003 when the economy started looking up; so I had struggled for almost a year without job and with compromises.

Q: Which number of job was that?

A: That was my third job.

Q: So from Jan 2003 to Jan 2009, in 6 years, you have changed 8 jobs to make the count as 10 jobs in 14 years?

A: I had no other option. In my first 8 years of professional life, I had worked only for 2 organizations thinking that jobs are deserved after lot of hard work and one should stay with an employer company to justify the saying ‘employer loyalty’. But I was an idiot.

Q: Why do you say so?

A: My salary in the first 8 years went up only marginally. I could not save enough and also, I had thought that I had a ‘permanent’ job, so I need not worry about ‘what will I do if I lose my job’. I could never imagine losing a job because of economic slowdown and not because of my performance. That was January 2002.

Q: Can you brief on what happened between January 2003 and 2009.

A: Well, I had learnt my lessons of being ‘company loyal’ and not ‘money earning and saving loyal’. But then you can save enough only when you earn enough. So I shifted my loyalty towards money making and saving – I changed 8 jobs in 6 years assuring all my interviewers about my stability.

Q: So you lied to your interviewers; you had already planned to change the job for which you were being interviewed on a particular day?

A: Yes, you can change jobs only when the market is up and companies are hiring. You tell me – can I get a job now because of the slowdown? No. So one should change jobs for higher salaries only when the market is up because that is the only time when companies hire and can afford the expected salaries.

Q: What have you gained by shifting many companies ?

A: That’s the question I was waiting for. In Jan 2003, I had a fixed salary (without variables) of say Rs. X p.a. In January 2009, my salary was 8X. So assuming my salary was Rs.3 lakh p.a. in Jan 2003, my last drawn salary in Jan 2009 was Rs.24 lakh p.a. (without variable). I never bothered about variable as I had no intention to stay for 1 year and go through the appraisal process to wait for the

company to give me a hike.

Q: So you decided on your own hike by shifting companies?

A: Yes, in 2003, I could see the slowdown coming again in future like it had happened in 2001-02. Though I was not sure by when the next slowdown would come, I was pretty sure I wanted a ‘debt-free’ life before being laid off again. So I planned my hike targets on a yearly basis without waiting for the year to complete.

Q: So are you debt-free at this moment?

A: Yes, I earned so much by virtue of job changes for money and spent so little that today I have a loan free 2 BR flat (1200 sq. feet) plus a loan free big car without bothering about any EMIs. I am laid off too but I do not complain at all. If I have laid off companies for money, it is OK if a company lays me off because of lack of money.

Q: Who do you think is complaining about this?

A: All those guys who are not getting a job to pay their EMIs off are complaining. They had made fun of me saying I am a job hopper and do not have any company loyalty. Now I ask them what they gained by their company loyalty; they too are laid off like me and pass comments to me – why will you bother about us, you are already debt-free. They were still in the bracket of 12-14 lakh p.a. when they were laid off.

Q: What is your advice to professionals?

A: Like Narayana Murthy (If you do not know him, he was the CEO of Infosys.) had said – love your job and not your company because you never know when your company will stop loving you. In the same lines, love yourself and your family needs more than the company’s needs. Companies can keep coming and going; family will always remain the same. Make money for yourself first and simultaneously make money for the company, not the other way around.

Q: What is your biggest pain point with companies, when it comes to jobs and treating employees?

A: When a company does very well, its CEO etc will address the entire company saying, ‘well done guys, it is YOUR company, keep up the hard work, I am with you.” But when the slowdown happens and the company does not do so well, the same CEO etc will say, “It is MY company and to save the company, I have to take tough decisions including asking people to go.” So think about your financial stability first; when you get laid off, your kids will complain to you and not your boss.

  20. The idea behind this is to get some sort of wireless way to transmit electricity this would make the process easier and when it comes to people stealing wires well there would be no wires to steal. it would have to be based on a bluetooth type technology but it would have to transmit much greater distances than bluetooth can abviosly. I thinking it that there would have be a unit that could convert radio waves and those type of things into a useable form of energy i know this is probolly really way out but no one said it had to be possible to be put on here

Probably someone has provided the link already. But in case not, here is the wiki link about witricity, a portmanteau for "wireless electricity".
The concept itself is very impressive, just that it will take a lot of time for this to get implemented. I am kind of wondering about the accidents that could happen if this gets implemented... Say for example a person gets into some highly electrified zone... imagine what would happen? Interesting theories will follow.

  21. A suggestion for the Admin...
I was going through topics on the forum when I realized that there are plenty of domains/sub domains that are outdated or suspended so I was thinking that members could post outdated links in this topic so that support can remove the sites from their server. Now when I say I outdated I mean the .trap17.com subdomains that lead you to the Cpanel page. I do not think the suspended sites should be removed because there is a chance that a member might return one day to get his website back. An example would be xeek.trap17.com . I also would recommend closing the topics revolving around dead sub domains, an example would be " Rate my website xyz.trap17.com"

Now I do not expect members to find the domains but simply to post any dead links they come across so that it is easier for admins/moderators to remove them and if necessary the topic. I am guessing that removal of these links would prevent "dead" topics surfacing on google, prevent members replying to a topic with "link broken" and avoid frustrations :XD:

Thank you for reading and giving my topic a thought

Infact, nice that you bough this topic up.
I have seen lots of posts, where people provide links to their sites and asking the members to review. I am not sure if it is working on the day they make the post, but most of time it does not after few days. Its either expired or the member does not exist.

Its better, they are properly attended to and deleted. I am sure people of looking for those names and it can be given to them. Will be of some use.

But I know, the admins are doing a great job in so many ways and are probably working on this as we speak. But I am not sure if this is as easy as we think. Hope the best is done.

  22. I just came across this article that says that meditators grow bigger brains.

I meditate and I am worried that my skull will explode.

    Ref: http://www.sciencenewsden.com/category/energy/

I am not very sure how far this information is true. But one thing is for sure... Our brains are growing and thereby increasing the size of our heads and this happens as part of our human evolution.

There are few things to note here and to understand how this works.

    1. Look at the stone age people

There is a clear understanding on this if you look at the fossil pictures of stone age dwellers and people at that time. There is a significance in the size of the boy and the head. Basically, the size of the body was large and that of the head was very small, which can be explained by the more physical work they do. Say for example, they had very less brain activity and was involved in much of physical activities like hunting, fighting etc. which was their way of life. Their body was built for what they wanted. But it gradually changed.

    1. Look at the what we are now

Presently we are in the age of nominal brain and body activity, so we have some kind of proportion of both head and body. This was the result of evolution that happened for thousands of years from the old ages, where men started becoming more moral and using the brain and the amount of physical activity has reduced. So this is the reason why we have a balanced percentage of body and head sizes. But as days pass by our body activity is reducing drastically and we get things done from a single position... Say for example previously people used to go to water sources to get water, now we have water supplied to our houses.... there are so many things like that.

    What will be the future

I do not know.I am guessing here. Have you seen ET and other movies where they show some human like creatures in the future? Have you seen the proportion of their body and heads? Yes. Usually the size of the head is very large, which can be attributed to the increased activity of the brain and smaller body due to reduced body activity. And experts also suggest that we are in the path to become like that... meaning not us, but the human evolution is that and future HomoSapiens will be like that, provide they are there.

  23. If you open an Ebook in acrobat reader in your phone it takes ages to even scroll to the second page. Well, here is a better and easier method. With this method you can read books even as you travel.

    1. Go to this site. http://www.mobipocket.com/en/HomePage/default.asp?Language=EN

    2. Go to software section and download the "Mobipocket Ebook Reader for PC". (Click the image of the PC). Then install it.

    3. Then from the above site download the "Mobipocket Ebook Reader" for your respective mobile phone. (Mine was symbian 9.3). Then connect your phone to the computer and transfer the Mobipocket Ebook Reader and install it on your phone.

    4. Now open the "Ebook Reader for PC" (which you installed on your computer). Now click the "Import" button and find your Ebook, and open it. It will automatically convert the book into a Mobipocket Reader file. Now you can read it on your computer.

    5. Then click the "Reading Devices" button to the left side of the screen. Now plug your phone in to the computer and follow the onscreen steps to establish the link between your phone and the software. Then the Mobipocket Reader PC will recognize your phone.

    6. Now you can select the Ebook from the "Ebooks" tab, right click on it and click send and select your phone.

    7. Now unplug your phone and in your phone open the "Ebook Reader". Then in the library you can find the book you want.

You can create book marks, change the font and the size of the font and change many other things. Now you can read your favorite books even as you travel. There is no hassle with pages or light.

This is useful. Thanks. But it is always better to have a larger screen phone to read eBooks.
Also, some of the phones customize the files (in case of PDF's and other regular formats) to read the without using any conversion methods. That is again very helpful. Say for example, it is there in the iPhone, say you download some file storage application and once you move your PDF file, it is customized and can be read directly. Thanks to the big screen and accelerometer, it enhances the user experience.
