Computer turn itself off when printing more than 4 pages, why? Computer Turns Self Off Recently, my power supply (24 pin) is burnt. I change a new power supply(24 pin). It is not a branded. On the sticker it list as : Icube technology ATX-500W power supply +12V : 8A +5V : 16A +3.3V : 12A -5V : 0.5A -12V : 0.5A +5SBV : 1.5A My hardware configuration is pentium 4 2.66Ghz (socket 775) IDE hard disk Floppy disk Cdrom drive Mainboard My problem is as follow: 1. When I print a long document (7 to 10 pages) from openoffice calc, my computer will suddenly turn off after 2 pages with panasonic KXP1131 printer. If I change my printer to KCP1121, it will turn off after 4 pages. 2. When I open openoffice and typing letter with 5 to 6 pages, it can print normally with no problem. 3. When I open old spreadsheet file (big file with 5 to 6 pages) created with openoffice calc, it will also turn off. * Computer turn off itself without any error message, just turn off suddenly. After each turn off, I need to switch off the power source and switch on again to turn on computer. My question is whether the power supply that I change is not enough power? I like being good best, but thats just becuase I dobt like fklys around me and wierd horns. But theres different posotives and negatives when your both. For example I like it when I'm evil because the people who are your proper friends on the game such as the bandits (the ones in witchwood) treat you well and they say we'll watch your back, stuff like that, where as when your good the guards just take you for granted and just moan about being bored. Some people say that it sucks being evil because no women like you but they havent played the game properly because you get asttractive off your renown anyway. my My Documents folder is now Read Only, and attempts to change it have no effect. Read-only Folders In Xp I just had similar problem with external disk after installing xp in new machine. All files and folders in ext.Disk became readonly. So many things were tried but I think what worked is:- In Windows Explorer showing the file/folder in question, goto Tools->Folder Option->View,then - unclik 'Display simple folder view...' - click 'Use simple file sharing (Recommended)' - click "Apply" then "OK" then change the attribute of the file in question. This is a problem for me, because it prevents me from modifying my WMP, from modifying the files inside My Documents (as a graphic artist and author, that's kind of important), and copying/moving things. I can get around it with cut and paste, but that doesn't help my WMP, and I feel a little ashamed that I have to ask this question, being a Techy myself.
