Well, here's something I bet you might not have known. An excellent combination for producing a good website is using Adobe Photoshop and Image Ready. For N00bs: Adobe Photoshop- Excellent for the designing the graphics your site layout. Adobe Image Ready- Good for slicing the design you creating using photoshop and exporting it to be a xhtml compatible page with image slices. For more information visit: Adobe and possibly download a trial version of these software if you hav't got them already.

As long as you would like your image files to be viewable to the public you can put them anywhere within the public_html (In an actual directory or a create subdirectory). Often users put all their images in a folder public_html/images folder to keep their site tidy. I also do this because I hate a file filled public_html directory, too mesy .I have not experienced with JSP so I am unsure whether its supported, but I am confindent in saying it probably is already enabled.

I have used FlashfxpandCuteFTP. I find cuteftp the best because I experience less ftp errors, as cuteftp has better stability. Because I am happy with cuteftps performance I will continue to use it and recoomend all fo you at least give it a try. CuteFTP also supports uploading of folders.

I don't like the idea of a security forum too much as illegal tools ect may be brought to the forum. You can still talk about security in the appropriate forums (eg creating a tutorial for telling users how to setup a good firewall?), i dont know what you are interested in so just be creative with the ways you post seccurity related topics in the appropriate forums.

Once you upgrade to the default packages (50 posts needed) you will be able to add subdomains to your domain or subdomain. You can host .html or any file on your website, no limits within reason of legality. You may ask for support with PHP in the programming forums.

No the previous trial versions which we use continue for ever as they are not encoded with anything. I assure you guys we are running a perfectly legal forum.

Posts posted in the computers and tech catagory only count as we feel this is the main content which contributes to the Xisto forums, the others forums are just for fun or support so they do not increase your cumulative count.

I was just at school and using the MACs and i think you should put Safirie on it(think i spelled it wrong) it will probably only get like 2 vote cause its F***** up and has a bad interface but hey would be interesting to know if someone used it
