  1. The new one is very good.I see that you have done some of your homework since my last visit :DStill, you should put in a DTD.The old design should be put to rest, no offence!I really liked the new one ^_^cheers
  2. Click on Jhonny's profile.Click ignore user.Goodbye Jhonny
  3. DC++ works fine most of the time! Azureus ( yet another BitTorrent client ).I've also tried Waste, but it needs to be more common. Waste might be the future of filesharing!
  4. Just don't like people who's wasting other peoples precious time! That site looked too much like a template! cheers
  5. I didn't say anything about their ability to detect virus! It's probably as good as any, and of course their products will satisfy many people. Many others wouldn't know that it may be McAfee's products, which is giving them their random problems! Here's a few old stories, that describes the talented programmers at Mcafee http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
  6. As for the part with McAfee in it, I'd suggest that you all stay away fromanything that says McAfee made it! I am helping people with building and upgrading computers, viruscleaning and maintenance. If I see a product from McAfee in their system, I will ask them if I may remove it! In too many cases, this has solved their problems ( bsod, non-responding apps and generally slow systems ) Symantecs products is better coded, but they grown to big and has become real resource hogs! Don't use "suites", use specialized apps for every task, because more effort has been made to make them good! I use Kerio, Avast, Ad-Aware, SpywareGuard, SpywareBlaster, MRU-Blaster and WebWasher.....but hey! I'm paranoid cheers
  7. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ has got some interesting little apps! I use Spywareblaster in conjunction with Spywareguard and MRU-blaster! Spywareguard also protects against browser hijacking, which has saved me from a lot of trouble. They use very little resources. Remember to update often! On top of that I'll run Ad-aware every now and then! Recommended! cheers
  8. You should all stay away from sp2!Do a google on " xp sp2 problem " and see for yourself. If you're already using a good firewall and a good anti-virus program, there's absolutely no need for sp2!To you who's experiencing this! Format the HDD, reinstall XP and everything prior to sp2 Then everything works like a charm again Edit: I've got 1 220 000 hits on that search cheers
  9. After looking at the code of your entrypage, I was a little bit surprised that it shows up at all! <style type="text/css"> If I counted right, you have this twice in your headsection and once in your bodysection! It belongs in the headsection and only once, preferably just linked to an external stylesheet ( CSS ). Also there's metatags in the bodysection, which also belongs to the headsection. The title is located in between the head and the body, it should also belong in the headsection! The page also has to begin with a DTD. This is very basic HTML, and should be corrected. Also, the popup window is totally uncalled for. You should also reduce the size of the text. Add a little color to the text to Don't get me wrong, I'm only trying to help you to make a good looking page to look even better! http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%bhost.com%2F cheers
  10. This is due to the hyperthreading technology which is simulatingdual cpu's! It's as it should be! cheers EDIT: I visited your gallery at renderosity, you've got skills man!
  11. Nice thought there ChronicLoser and so true! It all comes down to the person in front of the keyboard. There's always going to be a right, wrong, easier or harder way of doing things! As long as the outcome seems fine in the eye of the beholder, it's ok! It's time to let go, and walk away in peace cheers
  12. Finally we sorted it out, thank you! This really was the answer I was hoping for, being the most logical one!cheers
  13. If that's the case, in theory I should be entitled to copy and paste it elsewhere! For an example, I write a long question in one forum and don't get any answers. I copy the question and paste it in another forum! Do I break any rules by doing so? Another example, I've been writing this really good tutorial and wants to spread it in several places! Do I offend anyone by doing so? Just wants to make this crystalclear! cheers
  14. AMD will continue to give you more for your money. Things will pretty much, staythe way they are because Intel has so many big manufacturers in their pocket! Dell for instance, builds only with Pentium and they are pretty big. As for my expression "pushed to the limit" that's in a factorymade system where the manufacturer has to think about costs, heat and noise! We will soon have a totally new architecture on CPU's because the only way to go now, is to make it smaller. I think the latest change was the last one, just because it's getting impossible to shrink it more!
  15. Yeah, you're right! If that what's he want. cheers
