I agree, I remember playing Mortal Kombat when I was barely in grade school. I've never had the urge to do anything stupid, nor did any of my friends and people around us. These racers did it on their own account, not some game. If JT wants to wreck havok on games that has to do with crashes too, I wouldn't care. He has his own little dream and I don't want to hear it. Though, around Califonia, there are some locatiosn where police are pulling 'cars that looked moded illegally' and checkign them. It's also only on the rice cars, or imports to say. At least they aren't blaming games... yet...

Yeah FireFox gave it a different display than IE. It's a pretty odd and fun game at the same time. Kept me busy for awhile until I got bored of it. Though, I've seen better ones out there, some really test your mind and ability.

Mr. Louis M. Michaud, the inventor of Atmospheric Vortex Engine, has developed a new power generation technology, "Atomospheric Vortex Engine" .The fundamental principle is : "Mechanical energy is produced when heat is carried upward by convection in the atmosphere" Then again it has been said: "A process for producing a tornado-like vortex and concentrating mechanical energy where it can be captured is proposed" . It leads us to conclude that natural processes such as tornadoes may be controlled in near future. But the influence of "AVE" on the eco-system has no-where been stated. Before implementing any new technology, we should consider the environmental factor at the first instance. However, as I do not have the ability to judge the merit of such new technology, so I think, we should wait till we get some experts' review on this new invention.

Capital Punishment Please vote and reply
iGuest replied to KonVicKt's topic in Science and Technology
Yeah, for serious serial killers I can agree with. Big difference between a guy who has done one crime which was mass murder, compared to a guy who has done dozens of car stealing. Capital Punishment should always have a limiter. -
It's a pretty cool game. I like the idea of him being a paper and all. Love that commerical too XD Anyways, it's a great game, much better than the 3d ones like Super Mario 64 [DS/64] or Sunshine [GCN]. I'd give it like a 8.5 and a bag of chips for keeping a nice thing going. Hope I can see a part 5 one day XD

That router has the hub built-in which means you would not need to use your netgear hub at all. All you would do is connect the router to the phone line, connect your computers to the router with network cables, setup the router and it should be good to go from there.Cheers,MC

That's quite strange that you've never heard of a 5 port switch. I don't think anyone supplies hubs here anymore as it doesn't make too much sense to do it but I know it was common to have 4 port hubs. The reason it had 5 ports, was that the 4th port was normal and the 5th port was the uplink, and you could only use one or the other because they were shared. They then eliminated the need for this, by making it auto-negotiating, and instead of getting rid of their 5 port design, stayed with it, so that all 5 ports could be used. It's quite rare to actually come by a 4 port switch/hub here unless it's built into a DSL modem or PCI card.Cheers,MC

It's not a crime unless you know the product was stolen. However they do say that if the price is too good to be true, then be suspicious of this. It's hard winning a case, knowing how much you paid for this camera, and the likelihood of buying a broken camera. What has happened is that they've forced you into either accepting, or admitting you were wrong. This is why you never say anything to anyone in situations that arise like this, usually people will pretend that they are trying to help, but in all honesty, they're trying to get enough information to pin it on you. You had rights to not speak to them, and you should never speak to anyone without a lawyer present. You do have rights to appeal this, but what you've said to anyone there, will most likely be used against you if it could. Unless you could find another angle to attack this from.Cheers,MC

Microsoft's Memo To It's Indian Staff - Hilarious
iGuest replied to miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG's topic in Software
Could this be true?I had to do work for a large company and heard of their new policy from one of the staff there, which said that the staff could get written up a report if they used foul language. I thought it was $%^&* ridiculous, jokes.I don't see the harm in it, other than some people do get offended by it, but what are they really offended by?Cheers,MC -
The game was oddly fun XD I enjoy it for some reason, and I continue to play the one at the arcades with my card whenever I go there. Cheap easy fun I guess :/

I Hate Cell Phones Being unavailable rules
iGuest replied to Sarah81's topic in Science and Technology
I usually don't care much about my cell phone. It's either in my backpak, or in my desk. I'm not even sure why I need one anymore. People can just call my house phone and that will be that, but there might be emergencies that I have to make a quick call in the middle of no where... which happened once before and I won't forget the trouble I went through to finally reach a pay phone >_<I don't know... it's like insurance to me, it's worthless unless something big happens. I waste lots of money on iinsurance, like most of us do, and think an accident is likely to happen so we buy it. It's money being wasted like this you can't seem to do anything much about. Why can't they lower our cell phone charges to like... 10 dollars... for those who dont' even use it often? I want that plan >_<</rant> -

Thanks for your fresh information on Quaero Search Engine. I have few questions. 1) How should it be pronounced ? - 'Qu-a-e-ro' or something different? 2)Whether there is any Google like AddURL feature available in that search engine at this stage? And if so, the link for that feature. 3)What is the policy of Quaero Search Engine, so far as selection of good website is concerned? And if they have actually published such policy, the link to the said policy. 4)Whether it is going to take a shorter time, so far as listing of websites are concerned in Quaero in comparison to Google, as Google takes frustratingly long time to enlist your url and also to reflect the changes you have made. 5) Apart from list of website, what else 'Quaero' has to offer? - as has been pointed out by someone that, Google really offers so much for webmasters as well as for users nowadays.

What is your monitor? How many speakers do you know of are built in? If it's just a left and right, then I assume it's also got a built in microphone? Is the red/brown cable from which side of the monitor when looking straight on it. If's it on one side, I believe it's suppose to go to the other side of the monitor or even at on the back near the monitor power or connection cable.I would try plugging the blue into the green. Also make sure digital output is turned off in Volume Control/Sounds. Make sure there's no headphones in any of the jacks eithers, unless you're testing the headphones first. Also use the software that is for your sound to test it and configure it.Pink is for microphone.Black is usually rear output speakersGreen is usually the main/front speakersBlue never used it before, maybe it's part of the digital output too.Yellow digital output.Your monitor cables I'm assuming don't correspond with the standard colours of the sound card. I know I've come across red plugs, yellow plugs and pink plugs on a monitor not sure of the blue, but it's been too long since I encountered one and without physically seeing it, I can't tell whether it's a speaker/microphone or just a joiner.Cheers,MC

I've only had these symptons due to my lack of not eating correctly or taking enough fluids.I use to do extreme workouts and feel like passing out, would only get dizzy and sometimes not be able to control it (I thought it was a seizure). I saw my doctor (after I completely blacked out one time and was lucky I wasn't using the bench at the time as I had no one spotting me) and was told I needed to change my diet and increase some essential vitamins and minerals.I suggest seeing your doctor and getting a blood test, it might be you need to get more vitamins and minerals into your blood and hopefully increase the amount of oxygen. These were seizures I was having. After changing my diet I feel better and never gotten to a point of passing out and have still been able to workout, but not as extreme as I use to do.Do see your doctor though, no one but them would be able to give you a proper diagnosis without a checkup.Cheers,MC

Autosurf programs are only increasing our pains. Presently I am also giving some time in the Autosurf programs to see how effective these are and to my surprise I am finding out that auto-surfs do nothing better than consuming my Electricity and Broadband bill. Nowadays, I let them run all alone in my FREE times and once the stipulated surfing quota is over, they stop all by themselves. Still so far as hit generation is concerned, I agree with you Auto-surfs do not have any effect on it. You may try out Traffic Exchage Programs as they really generate targetted traffice to your website.

What Is Yours Of Choice Of Window Managers ?
iGuest replied to the empty calorie's topic in Websites and Web Designing
A happy fluxbox user here! :)A really nice lightweight window manager but with really handy features..the tabbed windows for example is a useful feature which is well implemented..the menu system is easy to figure out, and then quickly modify with a text editor.Definetly worth putting on slower or older computers. -
OK,I'm just going to outline how I'll set this up.Things you need, two computers, each with their own NIC.5 or more port Switch/Hub.An external Ethernet Router. The router connects to the Hubs Uplink using normal UTP cable (not crossover unless the switch/hub is auto-negoitiable which means any cable can work), computer A and Computer B also connect to the Hub using normal UTP cables.Computer A/B must have a similar IP range like the Router, e.g. if the Router's IP is 192.168.0.1 then make Computer A 192.168.0.2 netmask/subnet: 255.255.255.0 then connect to the Router's Web Interface and configure it so that DHCP is enabled, you may also need to add your ISP's DNS to it, if it does ask for DNS do add it.Now change your NICs on both computers to automatically get assigned an IP. The only reason you'd want to configure it manually (make it static) is that you need it to remain the same, if that's the case then.Computer A:IP - 168.192.0.2Netmask: 255.255.255.0Gateway: 168.192.0.1 (router's IP)Primary/Secondary DNS: ISP DNS IPComputer B: is similar setup but uses IP - 168.192.0.3There's no need to configure ICS, this is only needed if you are sharing an internet connection off another computer, usually an internal modem or USB modem or a computer that primarily has the internet connection, but not one that is shared over a network like an ethernet router. You'd then configure your Internet Explorer LAN settings and make sure that automatically detect settings is enabled.Cheers,MC

The sound is onboard right?Describe the mini jack colours arrangement. None of this has anything to do with the motherboard and case connections, however, I believe you have headphone and microphone jack in the front, if so the case connection will most likely connect If it's the standard 3 colour port, green, pink, blue. Then green is your speaker output and pink is your microphone line-in.In some cases, considering this is a 5.1 channel, your software will need to be used to configure it. In which you'll make alterations to allow having more speakers, e.g. front and rears. You may also need to configure Window's Sound to make sure it's using either 2.1 channel or whatever arrangement your speaker setup is.The red (darker more brownish?) plug from your monitor sounds strange, I'm thinking this plug goes back into the monitor/speaker and another cord should come out that has a green end. What is your monitor? If that ain't the case, then this plug goes into the green port of your sound card and from there you must configure via the OS, make sure you install the drivers that came with your motherboard from the CD and the software for controlling your sound card and then work from there.Cheers,MC
