I myself have a tail, and find it disgusting that people can point fingers at us and say that we're mutants or something. I find it rather hard living life with a tail but I persist to continue living life normally. If you saw me on the street you would never be able to tell. price for xp/vista Xp Vs Vista If you look around on the internet you can find vista and xp pretty close in price. One discount pc site I use regularly has both with in about $20 of each other and less than $130. Thats for xp pro and vista ultimate. I haven't upgraded yet as machine is about 12 years old, but upgrading motherboard,processor, and ram trhis week and adding more ram in a few weeks so will probably upgrade to vista in a few months after some more of the bugs get patched and worked out.

Personally, I think Steam is such a scam (wont get into that). First I bought the orange box over the internet. It arrived 2 weeks later (not steams fault). But when I finaly did get it, I expected I would just have to install it like any other normal game, BUT NOOO, STEAM COMES IN. I install the games, then have to wait another 5 days to play them, because apparently, buying the game doesnt do it, you have to download huge files off of steam to even play them. Whats the point of even updating if you don't want to? Want if I don't want to wait until it updates to the most recent version? What if I don't want to update it? Why can't I just play the damn games I bought? Because Steam wont let me do what I want. Steam is so flawed that I don't even know why they NEED you to download it. So what its easier updating. I would rather have to go through some bother of updating it instead of having my free gaming will killed. And don't even get me started about the servers. I am, very; very very disappointed. There goes my respect to whoever made this... Monstrosity.

Hey Feelay, What vujsa means is that if you had a link like <a href="index.php?username=someuser">someuser</a> Then that would create a $_GET['username'] variable with the value 'someuser' for the index.php page. I notice vujsa is slipping though, his code should be $username = $_GET['username']; Doing it his way round, you would get an undefined variable trying to be assigned to a $_GET item, I'm not actually sure if they can be modified either, I should probably test that just out of curiosity. By the way, I don't like this method of using a $_GET request to be inserted into a mysql_query, this just sounds warning bells. If you notice the links to members here, they have been rewritten to suggest they are .html pages, this is just for SEO because bots don't like pages with get requests. The $_GET part is the m## where ## is a number that represents the member's id, that is the only information that is really relevant in these links, and will allow you to discover other members by just altering the m## part, maybe it poses SQL injection exploits, but I don't really have time to test but I'm sure others have already attempted to exploit it and IPB may have solved the problem. Hey Feelay, All I noticed is the common mistake with doing comparisons. if($userlevel = 5)is not the same as if($userlevel == 5) The first one is an assignment which means you'll make $userlevel become 5 and will result in true. The second one will not solve the issue though, you really need to do something that PerhapsYouSeen has suggested and add a column to record that they have gotten their points, then you just need to check that first before you give them points.
