I got a crap comp. From a hock shop...Anyway, it sometimes goes to a blue screen saying "windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer"blah blah blah. I fixed that(it didnt list a problem) and CHKDSK /f deleted two "orphan files"(I dunno what that is) Anyway, when it logs into the blue "welcome" screen, a sound comes on (a low beep),an error message comes up and dissapears very quickly, I can't read it.. I don't know what to do and I need help! it isn't password protected and I have all sorts of games on there and I want them back! I have no xp re installation disk!-question by Blain

Done it. Help Extracting Rar Archives! Just done this on my linux machine. I used the prgram rar and ran rar x ***.Part01.Rar and it navigated itself. If you open part1 with winrar and extract the contents like normal it should do it too. -reply by Dave

Well I installed the sims 2 on my comp. Then I had to uninstall it then I reinstalled then my friend needed the discs so I let her borrow it but... When she gave it back to me she gave it in a wrong case so I lost the code..Recently I was looking for codes to use and I found one so I put it in and it worked but when it says insert disc 2 I do and it wont workIt wont get passed the percentage of 23Then my friend told me that you can install the sims 2 with out installing all the other discsSo I just wanted to kno if you can do that or you cantAnd if you can can you tell me what to do Thanks-question by Giuliana

Replying to Lion2I would recommend Warrock if your looking for mmofps (massive multilayer first person shooter) it is similar to battlefield2 but a little low on graphics. How ever it is free and really awesome. Good thing about it is that no one can cheat or hack in the game. The game's overall is good. The graphics I would say 8.5/10 Story 7/10 and Gameplay 9/10. In this game you can not only just shoot around and kill people like in counter strike, you can also use vehicles. Such as planes, tanks, helis, and even bikes. There are more vehicles which I do not want to say right now. Experience the game yourself. The game takes a little long to load, however if you have a brand new pc, it would take you only 30 seconds to load. For me it is long caz I have an old pc and it still runs good. So there's this company Clickteam... http://www.clickteam.com/ They make Click-based games(duh.) A lot of the interface is easy to use, like the level design. You just drag and drop your tiles. The program even comes with some premade movements, like platform and bouncing ball. But the beauty of Clickteam products are these 2 things- 1. Extensions- Over time, people make extensions for MMF2/TGF2 in C++. Some of them are relatively useless (like the crash program object, which lets you crash your application) but others are awersome. For example, you can light stuff on fire with the Flame extension, you can make orbital movement with the Clickteam Movement Controller, you can edit your own levels in real time with the objects editor extention. 2. Capability- You can set the movement of your character to platform and use 2 pieces of code- If player collides with backdrop, stop player. Always set camera at (0,0) relative to the palyer. Or, you can create static objects with sensors that stay because of looping events and there's a mask and a skin system and actions. It supports all levels of programming! The only Downside- Price. MMF2 is around $200, a rather high price. But if you have the money and want an easy program, it's for you. I love this program, anyone else use it?

There's nothing hard about accepting a religion. It's just that some people are too fanatical and believe you need to be their religion. Another problem is the religious actions they make. The terrorists that attacked the US on 9/11/2001 were doing it supposedly for religion. We don't approve of that. I think you can make up anything as a religion, and I'll tolerate it, as long as it doesn't involve killing people. That is immoral, regardless of religion.

A problem I see in my high school is that teh teachers don't contact each other to see who's giving a lot. Sometimes this works out great, and you get no homework. Other times, you end up having an essay and a book report assigned for the same date. Homework does help understanding, but for most stuff in school, after 40 minutes I have absorbed it completely. I never study. I see homework as a waste of time, especially when it piles up. I end up doing it in my lunch period, especially the math.Please, don't make the parents force us to do the homework. I say I did it all, when in reality I did a quarter or something.And Co-ed public schools are the best. In High school, the opposite sex is on everybody's mind. If you make them seperate, they're more likely to sneak out and do stuff. And Public schools expose you to a large number of different types of people. Different races, different social groups. Private, you only meet people with a lot of money.

XP also uses Passport.NET to store remembered passwords, whether this is what is being remembered or not, I don't know, but if you go into Users Account in Control Panel you can remove stored passwords from there.Cheers,MC
