Marapets Review Of Marapets Okay look. I /do/ personally play marapets. The thing is, it USED to be great, with fun players who actually knew how to type properly. But recently, it's gotten straight out CRAPPY. Now, it's completely Account Upgrade centered (things you buy with real money to 'support' marapets) I have seen some people admit to spending $700 a MONTH on account upgrades, and yet they say they work hard!?? For a free site, it's definitely quite stupid. And what about all the things Ian supposedly promised? The last monthly editorial was last summer, if I remember correctly. Stolen laptop!!! but i know who did it. Where do i do now??!? Tracking My Stolen Laptop I was coming home on my birthday with a couple good friends and my friend invited over 3 guys I didnt know. They were getting loud so I asked them to leave and 2 of them started ganging up on my boyfriend accusing him of stealing 20 dollars, the other one was sitting near my laptop, during the commotion and left quickly and as I hearded the rest out I realized my laptop was gone and was on the phone with the police with in 5 minutes. I got all 3 of thier names from my friend that invited them and where they work. It a felony theft from a dwelling, but probably 1 out of a 100 the police are investigating right now and the guy who did it lives in the neighboring county. Should I hire a privite investigator and attorney, and the only evidence I have is what my friends have told me. I thought I saw something shiney he was holding under his shirt, but with the commotion of my boyfriend being choked for no reason. I just was dumfounded. I could definately recognize him, but thats all I got. WHAT do I do know. I do want my laptop back, but more want to make the low life who steals laptops to pay. -question by Speif

I have thier names, where they work ect. Okay long story short. So there was this boy dan who me and my friend kate had a huge crush (everyone liked him). He had alot of parties at his house and he was just one of those guys that got along with everyone. Well he liked my friend kate so then I tried to hook them up. So then he asked her out and she said no. Me and dan became better friends after cause I was there to talk to him and make him feel better. During that time I had a really huge crush on him but had no idea he felt the same way. Then he kissed me and asked me out I asked kate if it was okay and she said it was fine, so we started dating. Everything was perfect until kate called him drunk telling him she wanted him back and that she missed him. After that he decided to dump me. And she told him that she was just drunk and didnt care and still didnt want to date him. Me and kate are still good friends. So then everything after that got crazy for a while. When things started to cool down me and dan became friends again. We have been for a while. I realized he still liked me when he asked me to prom since he graduated last year and this whole drama scene happened around that time. I said yes and that id love to go. So ofcourse we were making out at parties after the next couples of nights but for some reason I wasnt able to trust him. He hurt me so badly. I realized I had him but I was so over that whole situation I didnt want to bring the drama back. Then I started dating other guys and would only talk to him for like once every 2 weeks. Now I realized I want him back. But he doesnt want me or atleast I don't think so go figures. broken laptop HDD - how to recover data? Hard Drive Freezer Trick My laptop hard disk endured a shock a few days ago. It worked as normal for about a day, but a slight whirring noise was noticeable when the laptop was tilted. This got gradually worse, and it eventually got to the point where the whirring was a lot more violent and sounded as though the disk might have been scraping (or perhaps slipping on the spindle?) Later that day the hard drive would not stop the violent whirring noise, despite being on a flat surface, and the laptop bluescreened. When I attempted to restart the machine, the laptop would not boot from the hard disk. No more whirring was heared, but the HDD fault icon appeared on the Toshiba boot screen. I tried taking the drive out, re-inserting, but this did nothing. I could hear a normal quiet whirring when I put my ear to the drive, but I could not boot from the disk. I replaced the hard drive with a spare, and installed a fresh copy of XP onto the spare drive, and the laptop is now working fine, however I am very keen to recover my data from the old drive. I have read several reports, all suggesting different data recovery techniques, but I am not sure which to try. I have purchased an external USB caddy for the drive to try to recover files from it, however I'm not sure if there are any precautions I need to take first. The freezing method sounds promising, however I am worried that if I use this it may just make the fault worse (I have read that this can damage the protective film on the disk platters). Perhaps I should try using the dive in the external caddy before freezing it? I am aware that the fault in the drive must be mechanical because of the sounds being produced as the drive was dying, so if data is recoverable, I may only have a limited recovery period before the drive becomes completely unrecoverable. I have also read about daisy-chaining it with a healthy hard drive, and using FDISK to make a copy of the contents. This is not going to be simple, as it is a laptop hard drive, however I will attempt this if it is the best way to go about data recovery. My guesses are that either the internal spindle has come loose as a result of the shock (as was suggested by a professional) or that the drive has endured a head-crash. Either way, when put back into the laptop, no irregular noises are heared, just the normal quiet whirring that it has always produced (yet the HDD failure icon still appears on the screen). I would be most appreciative of any suggestions or advice, because the data is quite important and very irreplaceable. Thanks in advance.

NEVER USE NOVA TRAVEL!!!!!!! Airfare.com, Novatravel.com, Orbitz.com I called Nova travel late in the evening to get a quote for a flight. The agent (Mamoon Syed) emailed me the quote (which by the way was really pricey compared to what I found on expedia or orbitz), and we agreed that I would contact him in maximum 2 days to tell him whether or not I want to buy the ticket. The next day the dude calls me to ask if I want the ticket). I tell him no, because I found some cheaper one online. Then he starts shouting at me telling me how I have absolutely no decency because he spent 1 hour (it actually wasn't more than 20 minutes) searching for my flight. Please note that I was at work so I hadn't even had time to get back to them, plus, I was supposed to have more than a day to give them a call. What a horrible agent! Never use NOVA TRAVEL!! They are totally rude and expensive!
