  3. I've uninstalled Incredibar, and removed the jmdp folder while in safe mode but it keeps coming back and running from startup. Malware scanners won't pick it up. I can't get rid of it. Please if anyone has had this problem and solved it, let me know! I'm close to reinstalling the OS
  4. Try Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Audio > MIDI Music Playback > Change Default Device to Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth
  5. Sorry meant to say Microsoft Security Essentials.
  6. Just Windows Defender. I don't like using system slowing AV software except for running the occasional scan. Last time I tested them it slowed my internet connection and I don't have particularly fast broadband due to my rural location. Would any of them actually pick this up though if it's considered 'safe' on most databases?
  7. stij.exe seems to be malware. I've uninstalled Incredibar which I never installed in the first place but this did not delete it. I had to reboot in safe mode to delete it, but then it comes back a few days later, but without Incredibar. It keeps returning a short while after I delete it and I have no idea where from or how to prevent it. It is crashing my X-Rite Colormunki monitor calibration software - it will not run until stij.exe (and the jmdp folder it comes in) is deleted from my system. As I am a professional photographer and need constant color calibration it is becoming a major source of irritation. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with java or jdownloader2 which runs using java.

  10. I was seeing this girl for months everything was going fine. But everything changed she was a crook I took my jacket off in her house when I was in the kitchen she went through my pockets and took a note of my credit card details. The next day I went to get a mini statement from the bank and ?300 pounds was used I challenged this at bank so they asked me to phone the fraud department. They were good they could tell me the card was used for car insurance so they gave me the name of company so I called them and the caller told me the name of the person that used my credit card they gave me the name of my girlfriend so the fraud people got me a full refund . Can I get her done for fraud and no car insurance
  11. Thank you for letting me know this. I have had trouble for a long time with spam being allowed by gmail despite my believing I had created a filter for them. Now I have done as you suggested so I hope that they will stop coming. However when I looked at the addresses in the filters I had created I noticed that the annoying "Rick" has used a different email address every time. Nevertheless I hope that my creating the filter you told me about will delete all his emails on arrival. Gmail has put them in spam so I cannot complain about their anti-spam function but was only disappointed that the spam from "Rick" kept appearing as spam. I did not know when I complained that he has used different email addresses every time. So I must apologise to gmail for my expressing dissatisfaction. It is very difficult to make out the characters in the security check. This is my 3rd attempt at replying and the 6th illegible set. it is almost aways impossible to make out which some of the letters are and impossible to see if they are small or capital letters. Does security really demand that they are almost illegible? I hope this will be remedied by and by.Kind regardsEdwin
  12. I tried to login but failed. I see the message "Sorry, could not log you in. Wrong login information."[/font] I have followed your all instructions but no work. Register and input data I see on mysql database file (e.g. username, password, email) but I can't login. What's the problem? Please let me know. Thanks kabirhat kabirhat.COM
  13. When I say keyboard, I'm not talking about Piano or Electronic Keyboard, which might confuse people reading this.Forget touch typing unless you learned touch typing on a Dvorak keyboard. I'll tell you why after this. When I use to touch type, I felt my speed seemed maxed on average around 100wpm and for a long time I could not seem to increase my speed (there was a speed test posted here that triggered this years back). I also play guitar and can play over 300 bpm, which compared to typing, may sound fast but there's roughly 144 notes on a guitar, and depending on chords, you can combine a lot into 1 so it's hard to compare. Especially when you can alter different pitches/octaves, and can replace notes with similar sounds which you can't do in a keyboard. So keys and notes were not shedding light on the situation at all of increasing my typing. So knowing these two different techniques, I tried discovering what makes my guitar playing faster than typing without trying to compare apples to oranges. I wouldn't want to bore you with the months (and it's still continuing to this day) it took me developing it, but it came down to notes and key mapping. Basically on guitar I could tell you every note (in standard tuning) just by where your finger touched on the fretboard. I can do the same with keys on a keyboard too, but the difference is, and the point I am trying to make......where your finger touches on the fretboard, I know where the other fingers would need to be to form a chord. So you like pre-emptive about finger placement, you know which fingers you should use and how it should be formed. This was what made typing different. I know where the keys are, but my fingers are stuck around home position and do not form the shape needed to do more at once, they do not shift like on a guitar. So I begin key mapping, visualising the keyboard where keys existed in words I wanted to type. I no longer have a home position and treat my keyboard like I was playing guitar. My hands actually now hover slightly lower of the area where the majority of the keys are needed (this is because stretched fingers seem faster than curled fingers) to form a word. It's probably hard to explain unless I could show it, but if I were to spell a word like HOME, my left index hovers over the H, ring finger on E on the right hand my index is sitting on M and the ring finger on O, effectively this whole word is covered and can actually be spelt in pushing both hands at once, but in a sense like finger picking on a guitar and similar to pushing on a piano. You could say it's an improved version of two-finger typing, but the rule is, you can use whatever finger you want to hit it. Basically I form chords (in guitaring 3 or more notes) on the keyboard and in doing so have learned numerous amounts of hand positioning for playing certain words on the keyboard. I haven't given this technique a name though.I now type over 150wpm, I still have a lot of room for improving my speed. I find playing music you like and increasing the tempo can help too. It's like you become a musician on a keyboard when you keep in time and use the chords you know for words.Without switching to Dvorak style (which I really want to try out too). I think this technique beats touch typing, due to the fact that you don't limit your fingers or hand position. I don't know about ergonomics though, whether it's better or worse, but it hasn't affected my guitar playing and I do regular hand/finger stretches. It would be good if more could learn this style, maybe we all could jam on keyboard together.I needed to add more since I read about your error with shift. I use CAPS over shift, this means my hands do not get fixed in any position and hitting caps on when needed and off when needed is not that slow. I was noticing when using shift in this style, I could lift my finger off shift too early and that hand was useless for working with chords which made the other hand just as bad. It also got harder the faster I started typing so I had to get rid of using shift. There's probably other things I do different too, but it's all based on ensuring I'm hitting the keys right.Cheers,MC
  14. A driver and an emulator are sort of the same in this sense, they provide software access to the actual hardware. That's really what you require, is software that will understand your device. So whether you find an emulator or a driver that can do it, either way would be fine.Cheers,MC
  15. ..do i know you?? it seems you are talking about me..hehei do admit i have the phobia/fear of mascots..i feel the same with your friend, whenever i see a mascot i freeze and starts to panicked.. thou i tried to deal with it before by touching a mascot, but i think it only worsen the situation...it may seem funny or silly but it does create an unpleasant feeling..that there will be times, my friends would notice that i;m already crying without me noticing it at all..so maybe i wouldn't enjoy going to an amusement parks that has mascots...no big deal, than risking my life :XD:now im in mid 20's but i still fear mascots..but i like cosplaying <3
  16. This is an old post but the error is either related to testing for a negative match by doing if(!preg_match, The exclamation mark would be the culprit. To clean up the code slightly, I would use lowercase characters, avoid testing case insensitivity and actually change the email address to lowercase, this will allow you to match if an email address already exists in your database or where ever you store it. Impossible? I would like to see my validation pattern fail, so if anyone could fail it. That would be great, then I could rework it. My email validation in post #13 is still my most accurate validation pattern based on RFC2822 and I don't believe I've altered the pattern since. The only thing you would really need after this validation is to specify your rules after the '@' position check and the total length check. This allows you to further customise and set boundaries. e.g. you may only want emails to start with a letter or number first, add that pattern to it. Any other rules, just keep adding them. This pattern can be used with any PERL Compatible Regular Expression (PCRE) engine. Cheers, MC
  17. Well unfortunately, XBMC will not work until you have a driver that can support the additional mouse buttons. Windows only natively supports 5 buttons max (excludes Scroll Up and Scroll Down as buttons). If your mouse has any identification markings on it, like an FCC that could possibly shed more light on it. Otherwise, I would intentionally try a Logitech driver like Setpoint or Logitech G-Series. Drivers for mice aren't really that special and usually anyone's driver can control another mouse. Just be sure you know how to work the keyboard to remove the driver if you can't get the mouse working under these conditions. Once you have a driver that will identifiy all your mouse buttons, you should be able to use XBMC or even the driver software to configure the buttons.Cheers,MC
  18. I think your best option is to get x-mouse-button-control working for you. I'm not a Windows user, but it seems to be the best option. On Linux, your typical 3 button mouse is actually considered a 5 button mouse. Left, Middle, Right, Scroll Up, Scroll Down. There many methods to configure additional buttons, although would involve installing extra software. This can allow you to map all buttons of the mouse to whatever you want to happen, this would be a system wide default. You can then be more specific and configure it for each application, e.g. changing the defaults to work better with your program, whether it's a game or browser, etc.Cheers,MC

  21. Hi Rasika, Most browsers now support cursor fully so it should work but in either case, you should always have a fallback method as precaution, as shown in the code below, if none of those cursor images worked, the default of auto will be used. <style type="text/css">a { cursor: url('path/to/cursor1.png'), url('path/to/cursor2.jpg'), url('path/to/cursor3.gif'), auto;}</style> Try not to confuse the users with it. They are use to expecting certain cursors. Cheers, MC
  22. Hi Jeeten, Will this really work for any website??? Will cursor get changed for the website.....
  23. There's alot of comments here from people that seem completely out of touch with reality. The fact of the matter is, video games have taken the place of reading a good book, playing a musical instrument, socializing in person, going for a hike / swim / bike etc., 'insert normal behavior' here. If you think all of the aforementioned are not as important in your life than playing video games, then you have indeed gone off the deep end. We're not talking about a couple hours a week here, we're talking about countless hours every night, every weekend, after school / work. That is a sickness and should be treated as such. You just don't realize it's a sickness because of all the other so called 'friends' you think you have, that do the exact same thing. It is my firm belief that consoles and indeed all PC games be banned outright. It is literally destroying the lives of millions of children, teenagers and adults of all ages. In many many cases, the addiction could be likened to cocaine or alcohol abuse. Obviously due to video games being a multi-billion dollar industry, my wish of a ban won't happen anytime soon, but it's a valid and highly appropriate request.I realize this post is going to annoy and outright infuriate those who thrive on video games. My question to you though is, why are you thriving on video games? Don't you dare even bring a crippled person into the discussion. That's simply an excuse for able bodies people to play video games for countless hours.
  24. Another easter egg, is when on youtube search for "do the harlem shake" and watch youtube get down, need sound, watch the logo and then wait for the bass drop. It's amazing how these internet memes originate.Cheers,MC
