  1. Harry Potter & the deathly hallows.Something makes me think I won't be the only one
  2. I had to laugh at this a fair bit.Yes mate, I'm sure you'll get plenty job offers at 60-100k through that immediate post. They must be rolling in.
  3. My girlfriend had told me that her dad was pretty scary, shouted a lot and she likened him to Begbie from Trainspotting. This as you'd expect had me rather apprehensive about meeting him. I'd managed to put him off for a bit until one day I locked myself and the mrs. outside my flat and she had to call him up for a lift.I was bricking it, not the greatest of first impressions this is it. Anyway 5 minutes before he arrives and the lady wants to go and buy some dinner, I'm like "no way, you've got to wait on your dad can't go pissing him off".So he arrives, has a joke with me and turns out to be one of the frendliest folk you could ever meet! I was so relieved it's unreal. Gf told me he likes me as I smile and I'm polite and well mannared. So there you go, just be nice.
  4. Cinema's the classic way. Great stuff. They love transformers too you know
  5. I'd recommend just going to places that you are interested in. Use your hobbies and try to mingle with the girls that also share your interests. From then you have a common ground to discuss and get to know each other more.Get pumping!
  6. Nice one mate, I am a big fan of the Civic's. Great car and there aren't too many of them on the road around here so you don't feel like everyone else.
  7. I was hoping you'd be from Oz with that opener. Welcome mate :DHope it's sunnier down there for you than it is up here in Scotland.
  8. I've been a firefox man for years but I am starting to come around to IE7 as I have more and more problems with firefox's compatibility.
  9. That was a good first day. Sergio Garcia got himself off to a nice lead which is great to see, he really is due a major win & he is capable as his Ryder Cup form shows. Great to see Paul McGinlay up there too.Highlight for me had to be the 18 year old rookie Rory from Northern Ireland. Only player to make a bogey free round and he can't even win prize money, he was brilliant, could have had more birdies too. Definetly a player with potential in the game. He looks about 15!
  10. I've no longer have any :PI used to haveCommodore 64AtariGamesStationPlaystationPlaystation 2Xbox 360I miss them all
  11. I liked it being called Froogle and while I used it sometimes it never resulted in me buying something. I don't believe it was as good as Kelkoo, Pricerunner & now you have sites like http://www.find-game.co.uk/ which is way ahead of it.Still, Froogle was a great name!
  12. My 360 broke down only a couple of months after I bought it on ebay. Called up microsoft, sent it away and had it back a week later in great condition and with a free month of live. At the end of the month I decided to sell it for financial reasons but I'm definetly missing it.Long live the 360 & xbox live!
  13. Welcome.I too am new & trying to settle in to Trap 17's forums. This will be my first adult shot at a website so I'm looking forward to and enjoying the challenges however frustrating they may be, prepare to see me in the techie help forums! You say you're good at manga linekill and if that's one of your drawings as your avatar you're spot on there!
  14. I love these kind of cars, absolutely beautiful. You never see cars like this or muscle cars on the roads in britain. An old road car that I loved and would be delighted to get my hands on is the Ford Capri mk 2.
  15. My family brought me up supporting Hibs. It would have caused great controversy in my family had I supported any other team. It will be the same for my kids
  16. Hey all,I'm looking forward to the Open this year. Carnoustie is a great course and I'd be surprised if Tiger can make it 3 in a row. Phil Mickelseon done well coming 2nd in the Scottish Open at the weekend but he did seem to make it hard for himself and blow it at the last.Montgomerie to miss cut as usual. Would be good to see Luke Donald & Sergio Garcia up there for Europe.Ernie Els is hitting some form as well so he could mount a challenge.
  17. The best PC game is the Football Manager series and before that the Championship Manager series until they moved. Fantastic games with great attention to detail.Non manager games I'd go for Final Fantasy 7 or Command and conquer.
  18. A autobiography of George Best. It was a good insight into his life.I'm currently reading Mort by Terry Pratchett. It's my first of his books and I enjoy it when I pick it up but I don't seem to do that all that often.
  19. I get to pick this up on Saturday, getting excited. I watched the Order of the phoenix last night. It's the biggest one that's different to the book as the book focuses more on the things that were brushed over in the film. It's a set up for the next 2 books really which the film couldn't handle.
  20. He's certainly up front and not as smarmy as Blair. I'm not sure if he is the right man for the job as I could see him getting us in a bit of bother. However he's worked to get where he is.I think he is going to take us in the right direction but I don't know if he'll be able to stick with it. Being from Scotland we've got to keep our eye on the SNP now and should they manage to make Scotland independent then Brown would lose his constituency. That'd be interesting.
  21. Creepy dude! I'm not a believer in ghosts myself but I do believe there is something there, that somethings gotta happen to your soul. Reincarnation perhaps. Wasn't sixth sense a form of other senses. He see's dead people therefore it's his sense of sight. I'm rambling.
  22. That really is extremely cool if not a little bit scary. Look forward to it being in Edinburgh.
  23. I find that really hard to believe. Thought the oldest person in the world was a woman at about 120 at best.Fair enough though.
  24. I read that and though it sounded pretty hot for Anartica. Then I realised you must be talking about fahrenheit and not celsius which made it all rather brrry again.Fair play to her, strange these ambitions people get.
  25. I moved out of parents home in December so I'm doing my own cooking now and I'm loving it. I'm not the greatest cook but I'm learning from my own mistakes. I like trying new stuff. The one thing I am quite bad for is that most of my cooking is meat. I do some pasta but I do love a good meat dish. Had some nice chicken breasts in garlic & mushroom sauce yesterday.I've barely used the microwave since I've been there, only really for rice.
