Don't make false assumptions. Brooks, since he hangs around this forum like...something that hangs...beat me to it. When I hit the Post Reply button, there were no 2nd post, but when hit the Add Reply button, Brooks beat me to it. -
Because I'm one thousand three hundred thirty seven like that. Yep, we talked about how Luki needs a different font. He keeps using whatsitsname.

2 New Sigs From Johnny MY BEST YET BY FAR

I'll do it once I find round up those pixel arts.... -
Made a new site recently? Want to know which tag will work (show up correctly) in which browser (Internet Explorer 6, Firefox 1.0+, Opera 8)? Well, the Web Browsers Standards Support reference is what you need. Not only can it tell you which tags are supported on the three browsers, but it also tells you which CSS property is supported, which print property, and which voice property is supported. Definately worth a bookmark. Link: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Enjoy!!

I think he was talking about the Spawn renders.

Well then maybe you should convince the admins to make a Paint forum. ... No seriously. I've seen some awesome pixel arts from some of the members who made them all with Paint. -

[1] "You people"? You being racist? [2] ! I should have stated that because I read the debate between you and whoever. [3] Yeah okay whatever [4] Word up. [5] Oh snap diggity! It is! Nice job on the flipping thing there, fuse! [6] It looks like it's coming from Busty's hands, but it's the same render apparently.... [7] -

*(QYHW$EThis is the Photoshop forum, Brooks. You know, for posting stuff made in Photoshop. I gave you a little leeway on the Terragen stuff, but MS Paint is no where close to Photoshop...so thread closed.Good sigs though. -

snlildude87 replied to Kubi's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
All right. Two very good sigs, but I'm gonna vote for Kubi NOT because I got yelled at for speaking my mind but because truefusion broke a rule--never put text on a render. Kubi: Excellent background Excellent render choice Blending is barely noticeable, but I'll run with it. Text is way too transparent There are blank spots Truefusion: I can't tell if the background is good or not. It looks good, but it seems to be covered up by 3 renders. Good blending on two of the renders. Why isn't the busty one on the right blended? What is that black stuff by the skull's eyes? Don't ever show any where below the chest of a render. I don't know why, but close-up turns me on. 1:0 Kubi up -
Link: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ I'm back with another brilliant flash game: Avoider Actually, the game has a name, but it's written in another language, so I took it upon myself to name it. What do you have to do? Protect your cursor from the little monster. He will use all sorts of tricks such as leaping, teleportation, bombs, rockets, and rods. Every once in a while, your score will reset for some weird reason. I'm sure it explains why in the language, but I can't read it. Here are some screenshots: Leaping: Rocket: Bomb: If anyone needs these screenshots resized for whatever reason, PM me. Enjoy!

Google Page Ranking website that calculates a pages PR
snlildude87 replied to Itrap's topic in Search Engines
...did you not read my post? I just said that it was based on how many sites link to your site.....Google PageRank does NOT depend on how many viewers or data on the server or else I'd have a higher PageRank. Want to know the formula? Read this: http://www.sirgroane.net/google-page-rank/ -
Guestbooks are quite complicated if you want to create one from scratch. You will need to know a server-side scripting language such as PHP. Xisto supports PHP so no problems there. You will also need a way to store message. MySQL databases can do this. Xisto also supports MySQL. PHP and MySQL are made for each other. I mentioned a database, but you can store messages in a text file. An advantage to this is that if your MySQL database ever go down, then the guestbook will work. If you want to learn PHP, then go to http://php.net/. The site is a little bit intimidating at first because every aspect about PHP is listed there.

No notepad. If you want to develop Visual Basic applications, then you're gonna need something called Microsoft Visual Basic 6. 6 is the latest version, and many sites have tutorials specifically for version 6. Microsoft Visual Basic is not free, however, but you can get the Working Edition from a computer teacher to make programs. The only downside is that you cannot make .EXEs with the Working Editition.

[1] Imageshack does not have bandwidth limits. The size limit is 1 MB, but I don't think that you've ever made something larger than that at Xisto. [2] Yeah sure whatever. I also like penultimate image. Never got grass when I played around with Terragen.

...font viewer?? Doesn't Windows already come with one of those? Windows XP does...Well, here's what you need to do: Download this program: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Double click on your font When a box comes up, click Browse (or something similar) and find fontview.exe You should then be able to view the font If the above doesn't work, screenshot what comes up when you double click on the font file, and I'll help you from there. I have no idea whether your computer will slow down as a result of random 1000s of fonts on your computer, but it makes sense that it should, don't you think? Edit: Forgot the download link

Google PageRank if your Google's way of ranking a site--how important it is. It depends on how many sites link to you and what not. If you Google PageRank is high, then it will higher in a Google search than other sites. If you have an account here at Xisto, and you want to increase your Google PageRank, join the Xisto affiliation program: http://forums.xisto.com/topic/25192-blogconnect-online-renamed-to-connectme/ -
Okay fine then, but would it kill you to make thumbnails? Hosting them all on imageshack would reduce the bandwidth load and you'll get pretty thumbnails. By the way, I really like that 3rd image. Never got a picture of a pool/canyon/hole when I played around with Terragen.
