  1. It's a script. Here are the links to two scripts on Xisto: http://forums.xisto.com/topic/24925-how-to-make-a-sig-rotator-for-people-with-multiple-sigs/ and http://forums.xisto.com/topic/25319-another-sig-rotation-even-better-then-snlils-p-xp/
  2. elevenmil, man in the aviators, you are a genius. At first, I saw those .tpl files, but I had no idea what they were, so I didn't want to touch it. Dude, thanks so much! And Tysse, going into overall_header.tpl helped because that contained the header HTML code. Thanks for your suggestion though.I'm closing this thread now because elevenmil answered my question.
  3. Haha, what? Does that say something that shouldn't because I don't know Chinese, so...
  4. I love it! I don't think you assigned names correctly though. I mean, I'm goofy in real life, but I'm definately not goofy here. Just look at the pinned topic in the vent about me. :)Good sig nonetheless. Very unique.
  5. Haha. I love it. Notice that all the emails from bin laden are huge.(I'm moving this to the humor section since it's not real)
  6. Well not really. You can use it in images and stuff. Here's a samurai sig that I made:
  7. Not bad at all. It looks like Brian is in the clouds. If I didn't know better, I'd would have said that the sig looks like the work of biscuitrat. Good job. Hope to see more of your work.

    Hey!

Hello. Welcome to Xisto. If I'm not mistaken, we have a member here named spectre. Not the same, but almost. Anyway, make your safe at home. If you see a member not following the rules, report that member to me or any other moderator, and I'll (or the other mod) will take care of it.Have fun!
  9. All right. I finally worked up the energy and skill (?) to make a mini banner. Here it is: [url=http://forums.xisto.com/topic/26361-sig-of-the-week-2-voting-vote-for-your-favorite-sig/;Congratulations once again. EDIT: Made a new image. EDIT 2: Added the code box
  10. See my signature for a Xisto-wide link exchange program.
  11. Well, since my Link entry was so popular last time (because it won), I guess I should enter another one.
  12. Sorry about the vague title, but I couldn't possibly fit what I needed in such a small line. Anyway, I would really appreciate it if anyone can answer any of these questions that I have about PHPBB. First, I want to know how I can change the logo of the PHPBB. When you first install PHPBB, it gives you their logo. You know, the one on the top-left. How do I change it to something that I want? Second, how do I make it so that when you click on the logo, you go to a different location instead of the forum root? Third, is it possible to add addition code to the forum root? I want to provide a set of links somewhere on the page. I checked the index.php, but I couldn't understand it. Fourth (and final question), how do I make a separate .css file, so that the page is calling that everytime? In the source code of a phpbb forum, there is this message: Well, how do I cut the final CSS code and place it in an external file. Thank you for reading this far. I did as fast as I could so that I could get some shut eye, so the questions may not be as clear as I hoped. Please post if you have any questions about my questions. EDIT: Found an error.
  13. Haha, this is the same reason why I decided to make the new ConnectMe (see my sig) PHP instead of JavaScript. The reason is that Google and other spiders only look at the source code and not the output, so whatever content you have inside the script tag will not be read.So in short, no, Google does not know the contents in the script tag.
  14. Here, you can talk about the sig of the week #5. Be nice, play fair, and don't flame.
  15. I'm going to go ahead and make a thread where you can post your sigs for Sig of the Week #5. Voting for Sig of the Week #4 will end September 9th, so Sig of the Week #5 will begin on that date also. Remember, ENTRIES HERE ONLY. Other posts will be deleted and you will lose credits. THIS WEEK'S RULES: Sig size min: 175x75 max: 590x350 (yes, that means you can go crazy with pop-outs) Brushing: Any Text: Must have at least your name. If we know you by another name, then you can put that name on the sig. Render: OPTIONAL Theme: Any Entry due date: Entries will be closed for voting on Friday September 9th.
  16. I just saw hulunes' gift, and I saw this one...they're the same except for the name!Well, besides from originality, the sig is very well done. Go to the hulunes topic to see my comments.
  17. What does c&c stand for? Comments and compliments? :-/Very nice sig. I love the different colors. I gotta steal that technique sometimes. I love the eyes effects, too. My only complaint is that you put scanlines over a render. You told me not to do that once, so I'm gonna tell you not to do that. (Where's my gift?)
  18. My only complaint is that I cannot see the render that well. Other than it, it's awesome.
  19. The tutorial will work only if you enabled shell access thing. If you turned it off like me, you're gonna have to open WinRar (c:\program files\winrar\winrar.exe), click Add, and click the Files tab.
  20. For the first one, I don't like the blending. It looks really weird....especially that red spot. The reflection text seems a bit out of placed because this is a grunge sig...not an abstract one.The second one, the blending is kinda odd, also. I can see through his ear and his arm. There's also a little weird looking semi transparent spot on the right. The text could use a little work on because it's too hard to see. It's hard to tell what exactly is happening in the third one, but that could just be my game-ignorance.The avatar is a little basic. The little blur/glow is weird. Try replacing that with a drop shadow to see what happens. I like the shine on it. Adds a nice little 3D effect.Overall, I'll give you an average of 7/10 for all 4. Good job.
  21. http://forums.xisto.com/topic/24925-how-to-make-a-sig-rotator-for-people-with-multiple-sigs/ You're welcome. Michael, dude, you're losing it, man. There are blank spots on the sig everywhere, and the popout is not quite right. It would have been better if you blended it in a little bit. And the lines on the right seem out of placed, don't you think? Edit: Made link clickable.
  22. Haha, it took me a good 30 seconds to find your little quote. For your script, instead of doing readfile("blah");, did you do echo("blah");? I might need to see what you did to see if I can identify any errors. PM me the code (or just post it here), and I'll check more into it. If all else fails, you can go all out by reading SystemWisdom's dynamic signature tutorial here: http://forums.xisto.com/index.php?sho4458&hl=dynamic Your tutorial was probably not accepted because you did not write the code. I wrote mine. :-/ Anyway, Saint_Michael posted his tutorial that does what you described here: http://forums.xisto.com/topic/25319-another-sig-rotation-even-better-then-snlils-p-xp/= Thanks for the compliment.
  23. That's pretty sweet, but I prefer Yahoo! since they're doing $5.95 domain registration. The only difference between Yahoo! and Netfirms is that the former will still have the $5.95 price...fr 5 years. Sweet deal if you ask me.
  24. Hmm, I was looking at the Vietnamese numbers, and I found that number 10 is incorrect. First of all, all words in Vietnamese have 1 syllable. Everything is one. With that said, number ten cannot be muroi. It's actually pronounced...I can't really type it out. Listen to it here: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
  25. Haha, thanks. Thanks. (I change my sigs for every post, too)
