The planets spread out as the Sun slowly loses it's gravitational pull. So yes, at one time Mars and the Earth as well were closer to the Sun.Mars shows signs of once being covered with water. It also currently has polar ice caps which apparently holds water that still runs under the ice. There could possibly still be life on Mars, though there is no intelligent life.Life in our universe most likely went something like this. A ball of rock forms. Ball of rock happens to get lucky; water forms. Asteroids hit said rock, millions of years pass and simple organisms are born in that water. Some more years pass; humans evolve.

Hey if you ever watch the discovery channel you might see these houses that all have their own eco-friendly power source. Some use solar power and hydro power (when applicable). I think a few used wind and they captured rain water for use around the house. It would be cool...

I don't personally know about Shrek 3, though I've heard people say yea it is funny but it's the same as the others. So that would explain the quiet theater. Personally, if it's funny I'm going to go ahead and laugh - regardless if I'm the only one.And ugh, Sylenzednuke clapping people annoy me cause if you sit infront of them you cannot hear the next lines of the movie! Well, can't we implement some kind of add-on that deletes old topics? It would help free up a lot of space and make the forums run faster.I mean, I usually don't look past the first page to write in something, hell I usually only reply or post to topics that are visible under the Latest Activity -> Last topic section at the bottom of the page or the ones on the View New Posts page so I don't post on a topic that is over a year or two old, of course this isn't foolproof as some people bump year old topics and they'll show up on the View New Posts page.

I run Ubuntu on my desktop machine and it is definitely a lot better than Windows. You can find alternate programs that you use on Windows for free! OpenOffice (Microsoft Office), GIMP (Photoshop) and many others. In fact, I loved it so much more than XP, I completely erased my XP and am just running Ubuntu on the destkop!But I love my iBook G4 (PPC) running Tiger 10.4.9 and I can't wait for the $129 Premium version of Leopard!

You can use bluetooth. My iBook G4 has bluetooth enabled so all I do is connect it to the Razr (it will show up in the bluetooth menu) then transfer a file to it, this can be a song or a picture.I can't do step by step instructions for ya because I don't have a Razr and the last time I did this was about 6 months ago for one of my friends. But it works, I swear!

I live in a small Texas town. Basically, that town that you see in all the killer movies set in Texas, you know, that one with less than 5,000 people in it. Our biggest store is a Super Wal-Mart and we have the most drug trafficking in Texas. (My county had the darkest color on the Texas map at NORML.org!) There aren't 3-4 people dying here each day, in fact there doesn't seem to be many murders. But there are lots of gangs and I'm sure there is a good number of prostitutes.But it's a small friendly town as well. Everyone knows your name, if you need some kind of help all you do is have to ask, and the teacher to student ratio is good in the schools. The mayor is a coke user and dealer (rule #2 broken - haha). And there is not many things here for the youth to do but drugs - I mean c'mon, some kind of youth hangout is seriously needed in this drug town of Texas.

You don't like it now, but wait in a couple of years and it will be the other way around! Think of it, even now you are the envy of many girls your age, while you're turning into a woman, they are still stuck with ant bites! Besides, when you turn 18 you could make lots of money because of them either like Anna Nicole Smith or like that girl in Titanic... lol Anyways, give them some time and you will love them!

There are many sites like this already, so it's definitely not a new idea. But I know many people don't join sites like this because of how bad identity theft is and because people are always paranoid about giving their information online (and for good reason).I can't remember of those sites that have exactly as you say (though I ran across some on Stumble Upon the other day) but I know a wiki+blog+profile is Mindsay.com and it is pretty good.

I've heard it can give you arthritis if you do it too much. And I've also heard that the cracking noise is actually popping air bubbles. I don't know, I'm no Med student, but if I were you I wouldn't do it so much. I only do it when it really gets to bothering me... cause I don't want arthritis!

Well yes a democracy is for the people, by the people. The pledge is just that, a pledge, so when you say it you are pledging your allegiance to our country that is why it says what it does.
