Interesting Topic..... I know what you mean.. I have been pushed out of the gang many times for I was too blunt and was told off for telling the truth... Like they say The truth is bitter....I learnt it the hard way..Back to the topic,I think it has something to do with ego and the mentality of the person for like a typical narrow minded or really complex filled person they would not appreciate it if someone other than them found something really great I mean think about it If you were jealous then you would suppress it and try to find faults of all kinds in it...Or Sometimes they are not broad minded enough to understand it... Imagine if you were tolerant then nothing would hurt you.It is only when you take things personally and seriously all the time that people start speaking of Moral policing I work with a friend of mine and we have arguments regarding work if it is not done or something of that sorts and If I kept taking things seriously then our relationship would get destroyed right? It is the same with free speech,,,People have to be tolerant and broad minded to take things in the positive all the time But sadly I feel that rather than moving ahead people are moving mentally backwards as technology is moving forward..... I dont wish to offend anyone.People believe that those who do not follow God's wishes go to hell (Hell is too strong a word but there is no other word to describe it).Basically they are not gonna go to heaven. I dont mean to hurt anyone's sentiments with my post right now but AIDS is a huge problem in India for lots of reasons. What I am writing below is all from various papers so please dont lynch me at the end of this ;)The problem is that most of India is unaware of sexual education of any kind because of ethical and sentimental reasons so this leaves gaps in the basic awareness about sex and S.T.D's and this is a problem all over the world.People indulge in multiple partners without condoms. Recently on a News channel, The news team were asking rural women about condoms and this is what was recordedWomen did not know what they were and why they were used, Some thought that If the husband does not want to use it then they should not object, Others thought other types of contraceptives were effective.It is sad to see that women become the target and then are treated very cruelly, A woman was thrown out of her home for she had AIDS even though she got it from her husband and then she was burnt to death by her family coz of the shame caused. I'll try to get the link....Sometimes the man feels shy of buying and using them so they are ignored. But thankfully India is fighting against the disease strongly by providing free treatment and protection for pregnant women and the women who are thrown out of their homes are being well taken care of.The idea I liked best was that all the medical centers and medications were all being advertised on the radio. I mean It was explained to them that it would all be anonymous and condoms are being distributed at government hospitals. I know what all of you mean but why do people lie online to make themselves look so great? I mean what kind of a complex do they have that they have to lie their arses of..... Anyway The same is with me, I usually ignore a personal question or just tell them bluntly that I do not wish to divulge any secretsI have heard of cases where guys prey on girls through the net, That is pathetic,Also the people who take naked pics of people using the webcam.But the thing is creepy when the person you know lies a lot for it makes you trust them a bit less.I mean a bit of harmless fun is alright but it should be told not increased and make people distrust you.Thanks for the cool responses.

Nice question by the way.... I had never heard of Xisto for one main reason because I did not have a computer and the ones who had them were all gamers. So forums were never our cup of tea. As I started working and my boss who is hosted by Xisto had shown me this forum and got me enrolled so that I could start posting. Hey,I just want to see how many people have lied online. You can give your reasons why you lied.... I totally agree that I lie on the net but it is for my security like age,name and location.I used to when I used to chat online but now I dont answer the question itself.Ever heard of people writing lies on the net to make themselves feel better and look more "heroic". Once I had made a fake id so that I could talk to people without them realizing who it was that they were talking to. Many days passed without any incidents but then came a really great day when one of my friends came online and accepted my invitation to chat with him. I thought I would just screw around with him and then just tell him the truth but to my amusement and horrorThat guy lied to me about his location,age and the fact that was the funniest was that he made himself the lead guitarist and singer of a band that was leaded by a family friend of mine.That was hilarious but very disappointing though. What if the person in front of you is nice but then lies like crazy to make himself/herself look superior or something of that sorts???????

Hey,What Saint Michael said is right but I dont exactly agree for when I was in a relationship I was 14 and the guy was 19. Even now I am in a relationship and the guy is 28 so I dont think that age is relevant when you have a relationship But I totally agree with the fact that she is 14 and the two of you can get tempted very easily for even now me and my partner have been going out for 8 months and this is the phase where both of us are supposed to be out of the "sex" phase of teenage but we still get tempted very easily so My advice would be to stay friends with the chick with your feelings in mind and then after she is old enough you can jump off a cliff if you'd like for all I knowListen at this age all that goes on in a guy's mind is to "have sex". Hey There are these caves called Elephanta caves in India. Recently I heard that there were 200 mongooses released in there to help cure the problems of snakes as many people have been bitten . I wonder though whether this idea will work out or will it tip the scales and form a unnatural number of mongooses. Either way I loved the idea for it is much better than letting the locals beat the snakes to death. How about telling me about what you think about this idea will it work or not?

The question is quite tricky for I use both glasses and contacts......I used to wear glasses but they were framed so made me look dorky, then I bought myself a pair of lens and they were great but It was a problem sitting on a bike as a lot of dust went in tehm and they would make my eyes all red.I was using my lens till I got my job which requires me to be in front of the computer for more than 8 hours-10 hours so wearing my lens is a pain for they strain my eyes if I sit for too long.The thing is I prefer glasses while working and at home but lenses when on a date or an occasion like movies or parties.So I bought myself another pair of glasses which would make me less dorky and they were frameless. Now the fun begins.....Iam not exactly the conventional sweet and dainty girl, Iam a total tom boy, So because of my tom boyishness my glasses had to suffer. I have stepped on them, My friend slept on them, I dropped them, I lost them.... So my reseller knows what Iam there for every time I turn up at his doorstep.So my advice to you If you have a lot of money then invest in frameless or else stick to the framed ones which can be stepped on and still surviveCheers,

Hi,I totally agree with matak and yratorm and It is true that everything in this world is slowly killing it but there are alternatives for all like windmill energy or solar. The thing is I agree that it is expensive and difficult to harness natural resources so easily and that is why we chose the non renewable sources for they were easier to use.This is just a thought but imagine if we could harness all the natural and ecological energies, It is quite possible now that we have progressed so far into the technological era as I call it.Because IF we do not save right now then there will be no more of a world than a dust bowl.
