Hey thanks for this. I was using the AdvancedPoll script and it didn't end up so good. It didn't fit with my template. I was just about to ask someone if they know some good Poll scripts when I say this.

I think when you go to uninstall IE from the add/remove programs list all it does is hide IE. The extra files and reg keys are still in your computer. It's really hard to clean up. That's a great idea. I'm not an admin but I think it would work. I went searching through the Terms of Service a bit and didn't find anything that won't let you do that. If you had a script I think it would work. The only bad thing is that people might find a way into your real cpanel account and edit the script. I'm not sure why people would waste their time doing this since they can just join Xisto but just incase they do I recommend you checking your security settings before you set this up.

You have to go to the request hosting forums. Then you post what you want your domain to be and some other stuff. After that you wait until the admins email you. You will recieve an email with info on your account. Then record the speeds, features, and how accurate the searches are. Then go and compare the results between the search engines. There is going to be atleast one search engine that is good.

Lol binary is easy. But I was wondering what are letters. Anyways 0 in binary is 0, 1 is 1, 2 is 10, 3 is 11, and so on. Correct me if I am wrong. If you want to convert something from/to binary there is a binary converter at http://nickciske.com/tools/binary.php it converts phrases into binary. You put that in the shortcut address. For example if you installed your firefox into c:/program files/mozilla firefox/ than the address would be: "c:/program files/mozilla firefox/firefox.exe" /Prefetch:1I hope that clears things up a little bit.

Wow I have never noticed this tweak. Thankyou very much. It helped out a lot on my laptop. I'll tell this tweak to my friends. I just love how my laptop looks. The font makes everything easier to read so my grandpa wouldn't have to wear his glasses. Is there a reg hack for this? Because my friend can't access the menu when he presses "effects".

Personally I hate dreamweaver. I prefer NVU. It's free, useful, has a lot of features, uses the gecko engine (that means it's based of mozilla), and is growing everyday. Since it is based off mozilla it has tabs. Which is good. BTW your editor is kind of plain. It's good if I need to do something at school and all I have is a floppy disc though. Well I shouldn't say anything because it's not as if I can make anything better than that (I can't even program in VB. Don't laugh). They closest thing to programming that I can do is scripting.

I deffinatly agree with xboxrulez. You should switch to linux. It's the best. It's cheap too (ussually it's free it depends on which distro you choose). I think there is a program that lets you use programs that are meant for windows on a linux or mac. I think it's called cherryOS (correct me if i'm wrong). Linux is great because it is always getting updated. And it's easier to fix problems because it's small (compared to windows). Windows has millions and millions of lines of codes. Each time they make a new OS they write the code on TOP of the old codes. I doupt Microsoft knows everything about the OS they built themeselves. Even though I'm running a XP (my dad doesn't let me install linux anymore cause he's afraid it'll screw up my computer again) I recommend using Linux.

Wow that's cool. I have a few suggetions though:1) I you are going to keep the blasts make it so it seems more realistic. Like add a few more frames to each letter.2) Keep the frame with all the letters on it a little longer. What I mean is get that frame with all the letters on and duplicate it a few times.3) I think you should get rid of the animation and just make it ZEUS with no explosions or anything.Your thing is still cool though. It's better than pretty much all the stuff I can make. Don't listen to my suggetions. I'm a babbling idiot. Just do whatever you think will make it better. Overall I think it's great.

Yes Xisto solved my problem too. It was the closest one to perfect. Now if only I we can get the perfect web host. Unlimited bandwidth, space, mySql servers, all features of paid hosting (and more), total control, dedicated servers, free domain names, unlimited pop3/imap emails, and most importantly for free.... *drools* That would be the BEST it would close down all other hosting buisinesses. Well too bad that dream will never come true...

I think OpenOffice is great too. There are cons too though. Like I think it seems slower than Microsoft office on my comp. It takes a while for me to open it up. Do you guys experience this problem? BTW I was wondering how I can get rid of that border around my document when I open up writer. I also agree with shackman. Open Office still needs a lot of features even though it is improving all the time.

I partly agree with bjrn that javascript will not help you with website protection much but it's not totally true that you can't password protect your site with javascript. Because you can make a script to ask for the password before letting someone access it. But there are several flaws:1) People can still look at the source of the page and find the password.2) If they can't find the password they can always save the page on their comp and then delete the script from the source.3) People will always be able to see your souce unless you scramble it)4) If you scramble your souce than you won't be able to edit that site unless you have a backup of that site, edit it, scramble it, and replace the old site with the new site.So I suggest using PHP because PHP is not coded directly into the the source. Which means it would protect your site a lot better than java script. One last thing. bjrn said that Java is for programming and Javascript is a scripting language. That's not true. You can use both Java and Javascript as a programming language. But you can't use java as a scripting language (correct me if i am wrong).

I use Mozilla Thunderbird. It's fast, efficiant, and it has a built in RSS reader. I love it. But I will try Sylpheed-claws. It sounds good. I don't know if anyone has already answered this problem (i'm too lazy to read through 6 pages of replies) but in thunderbird you can't access the about:config like in firefox. So that means it might not be as customizable (is that a word?) than other clients.

Me too: 1) WEB DESIGN I am kind of new to web design because I only got interested in the web about 3 years ago (don't ask me how old i really am) 2) DVD's I collect DVD's too. My favorite are sci-fi and action. 3) TRAVEL I love to travel but I don't get to go far because i'm still in school and I'm a kid. 4) READING I love to read too. I read all the time. But only books that are either sci-fi or fantasy (or maybe non-fiction when i'm studying). Reading is cool. 5) SOCCER I love to watch soccer on TV. But like I said. I'm just a kid and I'm in the US so there isn't much soccer here (all there is is "FOOTBALL" stupid americans... If they can't even think of a name for a stupid sport they make up. How do they expect people to like it?) I'm jealous of you dark. I want to live in Europe. Expessially Germany since I was born there.
