  1. I understand that the idea of it being a hoax is great, but that is partially fueled by the few pranksters who tricked people into believing it. I seen and hear many different shows that said there have been multiple sightings and what not, so it sounds like something is definitely out there. There was an article in the news a while ago about someone finding a dinosaur bone on the side of the shore. Some people believe it was planted there, but I tend to disagree because there would be no guarantee that it would be found, and second, a dinosaur bone is pretty priceless, so I doubt the person who planted it would want to risk losing somethat invaulable!Personally, my own theory is that it is in fact a pleiosaur that has survived in the underground caves of the lake.
  2. What about white bread that has been infused with my vitamins and minerals like certain breads that are at the supermarket? Personally I do not like whole grain breads, because they're not as soft and the texture is not quite as easy going down, although I suppose it all taste the same when you put a lot of butter on it (or peanut butter.)
  3. It was raining this morning, and the temperature dropped significantly in the afternoon. Today it was around 73? and the weather was fairly good. It rained a little bit in the afternoon, but nothing too bad in a way. In fact, I was able to enjoy a nice walk to the pond. I was hoping to see some turtles and perhaps some fish, but I did not get to see any when I was walking down the hill I made sure to avoid any ant hills that were there. I haven't had much of a chance to visit the neighborhood and I was thankful for the opportunity to do so today. Personally I would like to see cooler weather coming up within a month. I think it would make a nice transition from summer to fall, although I am not too fond of having to wear a sweater when I wake up in the morning.
  4. There is a reason why IKEA furniture is so much cheaper than other places. Having to assemble your own furniture is part of the reason why prices are low to begin with. I have bought my sofa bed and my cabinets and tables from their stores, and I enjoyed it all. I have also bought various pots and pans from them as well and they are all very good quality. I particularly like the cups and mugs that they have available; they match my walls perfectly. Yes, I realized that having to assemble your own furniture can be difficult. However for me has never taken more than an hour to assemble. I suppose the only difficult part is having to carry the boxes which are very heavy to the car. Did I mention that I always enjoy the hot dogs and cinnamon buns while I am there. They are very cheap and they also have free samples of cheese as well.
  5. Usually I toss in some chopped green onions into the boiling water. I also learned back in 2002 from a friend that it would be a great idea to crack in a raw egg, which I thought was pretty weird at first but acutally helped to make the meal more filling. These days I don't even bother to pour into a bowl- I just eat it straight from the pot.
  6. I guess it be a toss up between the ability to fly, be invisible, or the ability play music anywhere and everywhere that I desire. I suppose it would be very tempting to use such powers for evil by the same time it would also be very handy. Does anybody watch heroes? I suppose having such powers would also mean having more responsibilities and having to save people's lives. But then again I suppose it's a small price to pay for being able to have extraordinary powers that not everybody else would have.
  7. There was a news program months ago talking about how cool and how its the best place in the world work for, especially seeing how all the people who work there were able to have free food as well as a lot of other luxuries. Personally I'd love to work for Google although I have heard that there are very stringent requirements in order to get in. But I imagine once you get in it be very well worth it.The founders of Google basically create a utopian society within their company although I guess that that is possible because they have billions and billions of dollars at their disposal. If you go Youtube and check out their videos you'll see that people who work there get many perks such as free food free haircuts, free laundry services, as most free car washes and oil changes. I think I read somewhere that Google gets roughly 3000 resumes every day in the odds of being able to work for them is very slim. So all I can say is good luck, and I wish you the best in a getting in. I assume that you are trying to get into the headquarters in California?

    Buy Ipod

I remember when ipods were popular, I went for the iRiver 40 gb. It had great reviews, and I've used it ever since. It's fantastic, and while its not as flashy as the ipod it's much easier to connect via USB. It made a great portable external hard drive as well.
  9. I strongly feel that these days school can be a benefit only if you are in a certain field. For example, engineering and medical studies are important if you want to get into that field. Other fields, such as business, are largely self taught and come from work experience. Just look at Michael Dell, and the others who followed. Therefore, I believe it strongly depends on where you want to take your career and life.I read that Bill Nye started off as a mechanical engineer and began his entertainment career at the same time. Engineer by day, tv guy by night. That takes some dedication.
  10. I prefer all types of food, but I love anything that is spicy. In fact, you could say that I could eat just about anything with hot sauce! But whenever I go out to eat, I generally enjoy Italian and seafood. Every once in a while I'll head out to Red Lobsters to enjoy some of their fresh fish. Oh, and I really like their bread too. It has cheese baked into it, which makes it taste extra delicious. So who else likes spicy food here?
  11. Personally I think there is a fine line between sexism and empowerment. For example, some women are saying all the female action characters such as, Lara Croft in Tomb Raider, is empowering for women because it portrays them as being tough and whatnot. But some say that they portrayed as sex objects because shes wearing a skintight revealing suit. What can I say? It becomes a blurred line after a while.
  12. Well, I have heard a lot of great things about free hosting and it really is a matter of being able to find the right one. I suppose it helps to get advice from message boards and other people will a lot of experience, which is what I am trying to do now. Ha! But yeah, theres a lot of cool stuff out there I want to learn but I have so little time with school and all. Sigh...
  13. I don't know a whole lot yet, but soon I hope to be able to figure this stuff out more. I suppose building your own page is the best way to get hands on experience huh? I used to do those simple geocities sites several years ago and those were nice and simple enough. But now I figure it should be time to get serious and consider something that i can work more with and hopefully with this, I have found the right one.

    Firefox

You know what I like most about Firefox? The extensions. When you get some good ones you'll see a vast improvement in your surfing. It's really handy too. For example theres one called "linkfification" which allows you to click on links where you noramlly would not be able to, such as one the gamefaqs message board. Considering how many links are on there, its helped me out tremendously.
  15. I'd also heard about this game as being one of the best on Gamecube. Hopefully I'll be able to get the chance to play it and maybe buy it when I get enough money. Is it any good? And really now, there aren't a whole lot of RPGs on the gamecube. Ever since the SNES passed on there hasn't been too many RPGs in general on Nintendo console systems except for the gameboy. I think it has something to do with lack of third party support.
