Semi-true, I'm with Xisto - Web Hosting, and I still come here and post every once and awhile, heck I could probably open a trap account, and get hosting that way, but sometimes I do not feel like posting, so Xisto - Web Hosting fits me perfectly. But, I hear what you are saying. Most members who come here, only want hosting, and are not interested in a good discussion.

Yes there is and its called impex. You can transfer over almost every type of forum software, though Im not sure if you can transfer phpbb3 .You would of known that if you look inside the members area of vbulletin.com

They don't have that much downtime, but I don't like their admins. I flat out do not like the people who run the host, and would not trust them one bit.

Yepp this happens to me a lot with the google web accelerator. What I did is just push stop google web accelerator whenever I am on a forum, or site with newly added content.

Invision power board used to give out version 1.3 free a couple years back, they no longer do this and now you must pay for a license. There are nulled versions of IPB, which are basically hacked copies of the software, and if you are found using this on Xisto, or many other hosts, they will suspend your site without notice. Like haslip said, use AEF IPBFree, it's a ipb host. I personally do not like them, but maybe you will Mybb, a forum software based of Vbulletin YABB, a forum software written perl SMF, software which is available in Fantastico. Similar to Yabb Hope those help!

I have this site that I've used for many purposes, now I want it to be just a personal site. My questions is how to get my site removed from Google totally. I've used robots.txt, so robots do not index my site, but if you search the site I still get a bunch of listing for my site, which I do not want anymore. Can anyone help?

Nope, never have and never will. I've never liked those email programs, like outlook, thounderbird, ect. It seems like any of my emails never got through to it, so I stick to my yahoo and gmail account.

lol, not only does Xisto - Domains rules but all of xisto rules lol. Anyway, free privacy is essential, on urlfreedom, my old registar, I got flooded with spam on the email I used with hosting. They charged 4 dollars for domains, on top of the 9.99 they charge for domains, so so pretty much you could can get 2 domains with free privacy for the price of their one domain with privacy

You could just buy a 7.99 domain from Xisto - Domains which includes free privacy :)Ive used ezyrewards, but once I got the points the dns never configured and they wouldnt answer my emails, so just go w/ Xisto - Domains.

Xidomains has to be the best domain registar. They charge 7.99 per .com/.net/.org and 2.44 for .info. On top of that they give free privacy which can cost 7 or 8 bucks. Even though I was impatient and opened like 5 support tickets, Im defintley satisfied. I suggest everybody register with them for dead cheap prices and privacy.Ive registered two domains with them and will register more in the near future.

You actually think that they're good? They're a horrible host, they seem great and all until they delete your site because you're "running up their cpu usage", when you have 1 member to your forum. That was the first time I was with them, the second time my site was suspended because they said "You must have the ad on all pages", When I had the ad on the under construction page, and hadn't even uploaded any content. On top of that, go on and try to install an ipb forum or forum similar to that. See all of the "memory exceeded errors" you'll get. Bad host, bad services, bad support. Good for the newbie, not good for the average user

You don't have to be stupid to make spelling mistakes. I do it all the time when I am on my phone texting, or on Aim. You could be the smartest person in the world "n tlk liek dis"So really you can't assume that people are stupid who have bad grammar, they could be in a hurry, or not care about typing perfectly over the web.

Yeah they work, I've gotten a domain from them. But, I would just buy one nowadays instead of wasting my time with surveys ect. 7.99 for a domain isn't that much.

Hmm.. Are you sure your laptop supports that type of security. When you run the installation, you usually can choose which type of security you prefer like wep, and a couple others. Try just WEP, and maybe it'll work. Or run the install again, maybe that'll do the job.

You def. forget mybb. I've been looking into it, and have been using it for my forum for a couple of weeks now. I really think that it is the best around. I wish AEF and MYBB coule merge together, because I like the MYbb interface, but really love the AEF enhanced features!

But, push-ups will get you stronger, you won't be ripped or anything by doing them for a couple of weeks, but you should begin to see a difference sooner than you think!

So many hosts out there oversell, like Host monster. They say they give out like 3000gb bandwidth for only 5.99 a month, which is ridiculous if you ask me. How can they give so much for so little of a price, and let me tell you that many hosts do that. One host would give you 30000gb of bandwidth, which is unmatched for only 10/month. Yeah there overselling, I'll tell you what!
