That's what I said. All domains bought using Mycents are registered with Xisto - Domains
-
I heard about Xisto A LONG time ago. It was two years ago, and I was looking for a reliable host. I came across a free web hosting directory, and really just began to start trying them out. I realized they all sucked, and finally saw a link to Xisto. Posting to host kind of turned me off, but later I realized the service is definitely unmatched to any other I have ever seen.

First off I would like to say I am MORE then satisified with Xisto's new Mycredit system. I really like it better then the old system, and is one reason I decided to come back to Xisto. Now, on to my problem.Okay, so some of you might know that if you want to add any money onto your Billing account, that there's an option to add funds underneath where it says your name and address, ect. If you click that you'll see that it says a minimum deposit is 25 dollars. I was wondering if Xisto or Xisto could make it so you can add as much money as you would like to your account. The reason is right now I would like to add like 2 dollars to my account just to make it easier on myself, and so I do not have to post as much. It makes more sense as some people might reach 7 or so dollars, and just want to donate 3 to get themselves that 9.99 domain.

I know this is kind of off topic, but I really want to tell people that if you really want a domain, your best bet is to go with Xisto - Domains.comRight now I have a couple of domains with 1and1, and it's terrible. It takes such a long time to resolve, and some of my domains still redirect to the 1and1 splash page. I contacted support, and of course no reply. I had bought 3 domains with Xisto - Domains in the past, and it was much beter then 1and1. I really should've went with XI, but 1and1 and a special .com and .biz special so that's the only reason I went with them.I guess you get what you pay for so :lol:So yeah sorry for being off topic, but just wanted to let everyone know.

http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ I think currently there may be too much pressure on Obama to fix the struggled economy. As it stands, the economy is in EXTREMELY difficult position, on that has not been as bad in a couple of decades or so. The bad thing is, if it finds Obama isn't able to fix the economy in such a short matter of time, people are going to get anxious and annoyed so very quickly. I sort of feel bad if this does happen, because so much is currently being hoped for by Obama, and failure really isn't an option anybody can afford. The first step for Obama will be to get Congress to approve one of his major tax cuts. If he is able to do that, then this will really make a lot of other things so much easier for him. Since congress is mainly democratic, I'm pretty sure that this is going to help speed up a lot of the processes, and help Obama get more things done w/o having people bag on him. Nonetheless, I'm hoping Obama is able to come through, and get this Economy back in shape

I don't use any sites like those. I really feel like any make money fast sites are most likely scams of some sort. I mean, how hard is it get 30 dollars? Probably too damn hard to get. You're better off just getting a real job, and actually working to try to get ACTUAL money.

Too Old For Halloween? Illustration using GIMP+Wacom
Spyda replied to Vyoma's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
You're never too old for Halloween I've been trick or treating for ever, and I plan to continue doing it for a lot longer. The reason is, on halloween you get free candy I mean what more could you want. Me and my friends got enough candy to last us a really long long time. This basically has saved us a lot of money, where we didn't have to go to the convient store and spend money on candy and junk food there. Halloween roughly has saved me 100 dollars so far. And I still have a lot more candy to last me 3-5 months. Also, I know some people might feel stupid trick or treating, but that really wasn't much of an issue with me -
I honestly can say that I have only reinstalled windows maybe once or twice before. It's just that I don't really get too many viruses on my computer, so reinstalling windows, in most cases, isn't really an option or something that I feel needs to be done. What I will say is that I think Windows is an awful OS. I have a mac at my sisters house, and it rules. It gets no viruses, has so many awesome little programs (Garage ban, photo booth, that it really puts Windows in a toilet. Plus, my sister has had it for a year or so now and it has had less problems then my Windows OS computer has had. If I had enough moola, I'd most likely go with a Mac </offtopic>

Yeah I'm pretty excited for this myself. But, what I am more excited about is this downloadable content that is supposed to be released soon (not sure if it is already or not) that will allow for a lot more gametime. I read somwehere that it said the gametime that was going to be added to the downloadable content would be equal to that of GTA Liberty city I'm also hoping that they add somewhat of a new alternative ending to the already 2 present in the game )

300 dollars? A standard license costs 149.99, and a community suite costs 249.99. Nonetheless, I think you've made a wise decision. IPB is going in the right direction, while I feel like Vbulletin is going in the opposite. IPB came out with their FREE bug tracker, and a couple of months later Vbulletin does the same, but they require you to pay a 60 dollar license fee to use it Plus, Vbulletin 4.0 doesn't come out till next year, while IPB 3.0 will be out by the end of the month at least. So the clear choice, for me, is obviously IPB.

Don't worry, Xisto - Web Hosting does weekly backups I believe. One time I accidentally deleted my whole forum database, and CH was able to restore it the same day
-
Yeah I left mybb to go onto IPB. IPB 3.0 has been hyped to such a degree, that I'm so glad that they were able to really walk the walk, and talk it as well. That's really good to hear. On the topic of plugins, IPB 3.0 has a plugin system similar to Vbulletin. This means that there are no more doing all those manual file edits that take such a long time to complete

Yeah Sudoku is a "fun" game. I've tried to learn how to play it, but it just bored me to the death. My friends actually are addicted to Sudoku and play it quite casually and frequently. It's really annoying to, because they also refer back to it as if Sudoku is some great video game or something, even though it's really just a crappy math game that hurts your brain
-
I heard that was a good book actually, and know quite a few people who have read it, or are reading it currently. Anyway, I'm not much of reader as it stands, so I tend to stay away from all books, unless I am forced to read them

It wouldn't be pointless. 2.2 is unsecured as it is, and you do not want to be running insecure forum software on such a big site such as Xisto, trust me. On top of that, IPB 3.0 simple put is AMAZING. There are features that will really shape the way forums are made in the near future.
-
Yes, you would lose all your mods and skins because IPB 3.0 is a totally different system. Not only is there a much a different plugin system, but the themeing system as well is also changed. It''s sort of like when mybb went to 1.4, and basically all mods and themes didn't work unless they were separately updated to work on mybb 1.4

Well first I'd like to say that I'm not a HUGE gamer. I do enjoy playing video games every once in awhile, when i really cannot find anything else productive to do. I don't have too many game systems. I have the 360, ps2, and psp. AS for weight, I'm normal I'd say. I'm not fat, not skinny, not too weak, not very strong. Pretty average I would say. As for eating, I EAT A LOT. I find myself always eating, and its weird because I never gain or lose weight. It seems like even if I was to starve myself that I wouldnt gain any weight. Same goes for if I decided to eat my *bottom* off, I really do not see my weight going up at all. So basically, I am somewhat of a gamer in fairly decent shape, who eats a lot

I remember watching shrek 3 and though it was the stupidest thing alive. I think no movie can ever match what they were able to accomplish with the originals. Shrek 3 was basically just a bunch of stupid fart jokes, I think. It really wasn't as original and as innovative as any of the ones before it.

Ditto to that Anyway, I agree with you that Xisto is one of the best forums on the net, just because of the great services they now offer. I think it's funny how so many people love Xisto before they even receive their hosting. You will be amazed at all the features that you are able to achieve with your hosting account I wish you good luck, and hope you stay active here at Xisto

Just to let you know, this topic is from 2004. This was a REALLY long time ago. Xisto was much different, and not as big as it is today. This issue has been resolved, and really shouldn't be up for anymore discussion so it does not confuse anyone.

First off all, the latest version is 2.3.6 and the upgrading for 2.2 to 3.0 is just as easy as going from 2.3 to 3.0 Basically, the only thing that would happen differently is that the user's upgrader would first upgrade to 2.3 and then 3.0

It's still a beta right now. They still haven't completely finished the ACP, so the frontend is the only thing that they are showing at this time. On November 5th, the general public will be able to beta test the frontend as well. Then next week they will update everybody on the release date of the betas. Also, there are some really cool bbcodes like the youtube one

That's really awesome. Japan seems like a really cool place to live, but it seems very busy.
