  1. I fell asleep during Ocean's 12. It was around day 4, I think. Oh well, maybe I'll give it another shot someday
  2. I hope you all know that that isn't a dinosaur. Of course, it's the notorious lizard king and almighty scorcher Godzilla. You may be thinking such a creature exists only in mere fiction, but I am here to assure you that he is ALIVE and WELL. This motherboard proves it: it is a subtle hint from the grandiose beast. On April 26th, 2042, Godzilla and Mothra will clash just off the coast of Easter Island in a battle for the ages. Coincidentally enough, the United States' Social Security funds will be officially declared bankrupt that day, igniting what could very possibly be apocalypse as we know it...Hey, I can dream, can't I?
  3. Muchas gracias, mister. I'll keep that in mind when the time for the big purchase comes. I'll let you know what happens...Thanks again, and sorry about the comp!
  4. maddog39, expect an order from me soon. That stuff looks DELICIOUS!
  5. I don't think I'll be able to help you, but just out of curiosity...aside from this little dilemma, how has the Powerbook served you thus far? I was considering getting one for college. I'll be majoring in architecture, whose heavy-duty programs require quite the capabilities. Would you recommend one to someone entering in this field? What do you like/dislike most about the Powerbook? And finally, do you think it was a worthwhile investment?P.S. - Sorry I'm of no help with your problems here. I guess my curiosity just got the best of me

    Pop-ups

Pop-ups = the quickest way to repel visitors. Look at the infamous Maddox site: Not a pop-up in sight (or site, ), and one of the most heavily viewed (and dare I say...respected?) websites on the net. This guy has the right idea. He has acknowledged that he could make loads of money putting advertisements on his site, but he refuses to because of the sheer unprofessional style of it. Bottom line: if you want your visitors to appreciate your content, refrain from advertising. It only causes frustration.
  7. Hosting credits are a countdown. That is, a countdown until your hosting account gets suspended for forum inactivity. You can increase the amount of credits you have by making legitimate posts here on the forum, thus, extending your so-called countdown. It was a procedure implemented not much more than a week ago.Personally, I think it's a very good idea. Too many people are abusing the forum for the sake of getting their free hosting. There aren't enough talkers here!
  8. Wow! That's actually very impressive...Next up: Magic squares for trigonometric antiderivatives. Who wants to give this bad boy a shot?
  9. Funny, she gets stupider every time I see her...and she does look super-dumb on the show. Ah, the stereotypical blonde is a wonderful thing.
  10. I think you have to be subscribed to the NY Times to view it...Way too lazy
  11. I'd probably have to go with Keira Knightley right now...she's a very beautiful girl, and will be for years to come. After all, she's only 19 years old! That's only two years older than me!
  12. If you need a paper written, tell me the topic, and I'll throw one together for you. No questions asked. Just a one-time fee of $19.95 and I'll be your essay b1tch for life... In all seriousness, ThoughtVoid hit it right on the spot. Take some initiative, or seriously reconsider what you're doing with yourself. You'll only end up getting screwed in the end...
  13. The Patriots will snag it. I'm still crying over the Jets' loss against the Steelers...Maybe next year
  14. My first website was on AOL Hometown...mwahaha. It had baseball records, which I copied out of a little book I had gotten for Christmas or something...Goodness gracious, how silly of me. I must've been 8 or 9 years old, I think. No experience with HTML, no way of comprehending FTP, no nada. Sad, sad times those were.
  15. I didn't realize they had emulators for the top-of-the line systems...There's a lot of very good ones for the older stuff i.e. NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, etc., but I'm not so sure about the newer ones. Besides, the file sizes for the games have got to be monumental...oh well...
  16. Wow...a pervert's dream, indeed.Putting all that voyeur stuff inside, I feel inclined to comment on just how impressive that is. I mean...come on...That's like stuff from comic books, and they've made it a reality! Phenomenal job, Yamaha! P.S. - Don't fall under the wrong impression!
  17. I've got a Kyocera...not sure which model. It's not a flip phone or anything, but it does the job. That's all I can ask for, really
  18. It's an anecdote, for Christ's sake! There's nothing wrong with that!
  19. Amazing. That's all I can say
  20. Definately an impressive list of nominees...Depp and DiCaprio have matured so gracefully over the years, it's really phenomenal. Depp must have been 17 years old when he was the translator in 1986's Platoon...Gosh, he's come a long way. And Leo? Well, let's just say he was in Titanic. That's all there is to it Come to think of it, Depp has had some very unique rolls. Edward Scissorhands, Jack Sparrow. Neat stuff. Very innovative guy.
  21. More suggested reading: The Sunflower, by Simon Wiesenthal A harrowing autobiographical account of a Jewish man who is summoned by a dying German soldier asking for forgiveness over a number of atrocities he commited during wartime. Wiesenthal was silent, and he asks you, the audience, what would YOU do if you were in his place. The edition of the book I read contained some responses from some VERY distinguised people (i.e. the Dalai Lama, Dith Pran). Very interesting stuff, and you get a lot of unique perspectives. The debate of under what circumstances forgiveness is justifiable is right here. An excellent read, in my opinion.
  22. I feel like the only person who thinks Vice City is better...heh heh. Maybe I haven't just spent enough time with San Andreas (or maybe the gangsta theme isn't quite my cup of tea--this is certainly possible!), but I feel that Vice City is clearly the standout of the series at this point. Gotta love the 80's.
  23. Well good luck to you! I hope you win!

  25. Wow! You've got some pretty impressive stuff on there! The stuff from the R.E.M. concert is excellent, and everything else is just fabulous! Is there anything in particular that you enjoy photographing the most? Because it seems like you have a flair for everything...Keep up the good work, mate, and keep us updated with more of your work!
