I will attempt to help you with my prior knowledgeI upgraded to package 2 last year, but that's when the administrator didn't introduce the new hosting credits system. However, when I requested the upgrade, it was automatic! I didn't even need to go through a process and it just upgraded. I recommend you posting the URL to your request, maybe the URL to the upgrade page (if allowed) and maybe some specific error messages/ success messages you have recieved during your upgrade process. The only way you can get Unlimited bandwidth, space, mySql servers, all features of paid hosting (and more), total control, dedicated servers, domain names, unlimited pop3/imap emails... you have to get a server and buy a domain. Or you can host it on your own computer! There is nothing wrong being a stripper. It's not anything illegal, and I don't think they should be critisized. I don't think being a dancer is bad at all. Leap year birthdays? I think people just celebrate their birthday one day before, such as on FEB 28th, because it wouldn't make any sense if you only grow one year older every 4 years! Because you still lived as long as the people the same age as you... right? It's all fine... please relax, no one hates Feb29th leap year birthdays!

What was interesting is that my hotmail was upgraded in July and I live in Canada! Maybe it's because my hotmail is appox 5 years old and I have more than 30 pages of different emails that I saved! But I've also got Gmail and it's also very useful. You can use it with MSN and such after you register it with net passport. I even have yahoo, ICQ and AIM! It's just incase one of my friends only have one of them, I can still chat with them! But don't think I crazy enough to download all the clients. I just use trillian pro... it has AIM, ICQ, MSN, YAHOO, IRC, JABBER, RENDEVOUS and more plugins! Fun! Back on topic. Does that trick delete your emails?

Actually, instead of gmail, yahoo, or hotmail, people should just stick with their ISP's email. For example, if you use cox.net in the US, you can get a "yourname@cox.net" email. It's spam and ad free (I think).And Yahoo does offer pop3, but it's not very good. You have to register it manually and after you do, you get a newsletter in your inbox every week, unless you set it to email it to another email!

Ok, this is very very cool! It's a script that generates gmail invites! It's almost instant, and even faster than sending the invite manually! (I've tested it!) The site is http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/!

To my investigation (ok, not "investigation")/observation I found that approximately 350 charecters in one post will get you 1 credit, which allows you to be absent for 1 day (without posting). However, it is even better if you post longer posts, as that will actually get more credit than 3-4 separate posts. I recommend you post 3 per day for 2 weeks, and then after that, post a couple of 400 charecter posts per week, for 3 months, then after that, you should have a sufficient amount of credits to not post in case you have some issues (family, school, work etc.). This is just an educated hypothesis and the use of simple mathematics so the information is not 100 percent acurate and you do not have to follow it! However, I already have 34 credits, and I'm still posting 3 per day, because I feel that it is fun to help people and just post for the sake of posting! ~ Dooga

Congradulations on joining the Xisto community and hosting services! I think that Xisto has the best hosting packages as far as I know, and you only need to post a couple of posts per week to keep it! (Well, not a couple, but at least 5 or more per week to be stable). Keep posting in the forums because you can help Xisto and you can get more credits for in case you forgot to post or if you don't have time to post etc.Thank you Xisto admnistrators! Sorry to disappoint you but uni.cc doesn't offer DNS until Februrary 2nd. Only domains registered before or on NOV 2nd (like my http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/) will work with DNS. But please don't worry, because you can always wait until FEB 2nd (in 2 days) and use it then! Didn't I already explained this somewhere? Go into the "hosted" forum and look for DNS problem or support or info or something like that! It's got all you need! (And it's made by me, ) I see you got your cjb.net domain! They work in 2 minutes or so and you don't have to wait until uni.cc PROPERGATES... EWW...... Uni.cc takes about 4 days to propergate and it's quality is like McDonald food... You can also use the .biz.ly service! You can find it at >>> nic.biz.ly The only downside of that is that you have to have 30 visitors per day... which isn't hard for some people, but if your site doesn't have much visitors, I suggest you don't use that service or even try to register for it because you will only get rejected and you need proof too (like from a bravenet stat counter or something). There is even a message that says to not waste your time blah blah if your site doesn't get 30 unique visitors or something and don't waste the administrator's time etc. etc. etc. etc. blah blah and all tha jazz... Microsoft recently introduced their new "enhancement" "toolbar suite". This tool bar suite allows users to search their desktop and have a desktop search bar! Ahem... google already has this in beta since last year! This so called toolbar suite can block popups, search your desktop in Outlook and IE and has the ability to open up MSN in one click. However, is this copying google? Anyways, they also have a new feature. Their image search, groups search and all that jazz is now easier to access! When you click on the words "image search" for example, it automatically goes their without having to reload the page all over again! This is a script that they come up with... or did they? Yahoo was using the excact same script since the year 2004 and the layout and colors are EXCACTALLY the same! Hmm... ahem... nothing suspicous about that! Microsoft also comes up with it's own BLOGGING service! Like google's blogger, it allows users to post diary like stuff. It's called "MSN spaces"! And last but not least, Microsoft comes up with finally, one unique thing. You can now choose the layout for the homepage! About the toolbars... I think yahoo toolbar is better, because it has anti-spy on it.... a first... It's so wierd how these companies are already comming up with so many "beta' releases of everything! Wow! There's actually a site that converts icons? I just use "Any to Icon". It's very helpful and you don't have to go online to use it! You can download it somewhere, but unfortunetly, I forgot! If you have spyware preventers or popup blockers, most likely the software will close the window when there are ads. If you have ad-watch by Lavasoft, just disable popup-ad blocking or disable autoblocking. However, if you think that is too annoying you can always set up expert rules. Ok this is how Xisto works. When you get 15 posts, you are eligible for package one hosting. However, that doesn't mean you just post a couple of words here and there! You must post over 300 charecters in each post to count as a real post and to rize your post count. The post must have content, for instance, like my post you are reading now! In order for you to get your hosting, you MUST stay active! This means posting a couple of GOOD posts every week, preferably more than 5 posts per week! When you reach 25 posts, you are eligible for DOMAIN HOSTING. Domain hosting allows you to host your own domain and mailservers. If you do not have a domain, you may also use uni.cc domains (http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/) and cjb.net domains (http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/). Neverless, you still MUST post actively in the forums! The way you request hosting is simple. You must first have the sufficient amount of posts. After, you go to the forum "Request Hosting" Over there, you should read all the stickies posted. (In case you don't know, stickies are posts that will NOT BE BUMPED by new posts.) After, follow the format below: Sub-domain or domain name (Example: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/, or http://example.com/) Name/Nickname Nationality Theme of website Reason for choosing us Confirmation you understand the rules and agree to stay active and contribute to the community. Package You want After you have posted, you will have to wait until the administrator to approve your account. This usually takes less than a day. Final step! Go to the process link that the adminstrator will provide, and create your hosting account using the form. (The script was written by the talented administrator!) You are finished! that's wierd... the oldest version of Windows actually has a different Microsoft Logo! The logo is pretty ugly, but still better than the logo write now, because the logo right now is just arial black in ittalics... For example: Microsoft LOL! Doesn't that look just like their logo? And I just used the font arial and the largest size and font! It's kind of ironic if you ask me!

Hey I just noticed it changed color and hue! Although it does take up quite a few amounts of bandwidth and is very large... Maybe shrink it to make the size (as in kb Mb gb kind of size) a bit smaller too? It takes a long time to load ON SLOW COMPUTERS. I'm not saying it takes long for ME, but it does use up bandwidth! For any domain, you must use the proper DNS servers and IP or else your site will still not work properly or the domain will not work. If your domain offers redirection, don't use it, because if you buy a domain, most likely you would use it for DNS and email! Of course, there are some exceptions, and I've saw those!*cough* now just click on that nice little plus on my account beside the word "Reputation!" (nah... I'm kidding! I like helping people!)

I live in Canada, and google always directs me to google ca. Actually, I don't think they know it from your ip address, but from a cookie. We all know that google has a 37 year cookie stored on your computer and records all your search terms and sites you went to from the google website. Do not worry! Delete your cookies and this won't happen (although it's not anything bad... just a small fact!)

Now that the forums have a script that monitors visitors... are we still allowed to post ads? I mean post ads for no benefit for us, but just as a thank you? Because I could probably put an ad on the error pages and the thank you pages with ease! I hope that doesn't break any rules! You do not require Mail Server and DNS serverYou can easily set up mail in Cpanel in the add - remove accounts! Just set it at the right domain!Ok, here's how you do it:1.) Login to Cpanel2.) Click on "Add / Remove E-mail account(s)"3.) Click "Add Account"4.) Enter your desired email name5.) From the dropdown menu, choose "smartportal.cjb.net"6.) Enter your desired password (recommend you do it at home because it does not mask it and will be recorded in the cache! If you HAVE TO do it in a public area, remember to NOT use a common password for all your accounts (such as hotmail and such). Use a temporary password such as "password45" and change it at home!7.) Ok, let me help you!First, in order to make DNS work... please make the nameservers for uni.cc be ns1.trap17.com and ns2.trap17.comAfter you finish that, save it.You might have to wait for 2 days until you can go on to the next step!To make sure your domain has progergated, please go to the domain you registered. It should display a xisto site (if it doesn't, you might have to wait another few days)When IT DOES display the xisto site, go to cpanel in Xisto, and go to parked domains. Add the domain you registered (for example, type "example.uni.cc") After a few minutes, your domain should work fine and you can redirect mail, and so forth!NOTE: uni.cc does not support DNS until FEB 2nd. Unless you registered your domain before NOV of the year 2004, you might not get the DNS feature until FEB 2nd.However, please do not worry, because you can get DNS at http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ (it's also easier and faster!)To get your DNS at cjb.net, please go to that site, and register for your domain! (Remember to choose the DNS service). Please enter the IP address of Xisto (which is 69.50.188.18). After that, your domain should work INSTANTLY. Go to cpanel and add it to your parked domains, and your domain will work very fast, unlike uni.ccHowever, the last choice is up to you, whatever you do.
