The reason could be as easy as you forgetting to post, to as complicated as the deletion of posts and the relation to the script (such as, the script was ran manally to remove spam posts)
-
Apparently, reputation comes natually when you post in the forums. If you however, contribute privately, it is up to the people who know (such as admins) to give you reputation. I encourage all users to post in the forums, because it natually gives reputation, even if you don't really help!
-
It also caches your cookies for people's "convenience" but you end up giving your admin sessions, your email sessions and forum sessions to another user! Apparently, google accelerator is STILL downloadable, as the file is still on the server. You just have to know what name it is. However, I am not at liberty to reveal the link.

What Free Software Do We Need On Our Computer? free software....
Dooga replied to c3nar1us's topic in Science and Technology
Well, if you bought a new computer, and don't want to buy software, I would recommend the following1.) AVG Free Antivirus (http://www.avg.com/de-de/homepage)2.) Lavasoft Ad-Adware Spyware Scanner (http://www.lavasoft.com/)3.) Star Office or Open Office (equivilent to MS Office)4.) Winzip or StuffitAnd that's all the things I can think of that's very important! -
Google Web Accellerator! Google makes surfing faster
Dooga replied to moldboy's topic in Search Engines
Google is crazy! Please (in my opinion) avoid this program! http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ People will be able to view anything you viewed... that means, if you viewed a PM, a cached version is on GOOGLE's site, and people can view it! If you read something in hotmail, they WILL be able to read it If you typed a password, and it shows up (say on a confirmation page or your email) people can see it. Moderators are highly recommended to uninstall or avoid this program. The preceding comment was pure opinion. -
Hello everyone! I just came back from a trip to Seattle (band trip), and I thought to myself... yuck, my piano improvisation is so bad I can't even play happy birthday on the spot. (Of course, give me any written version and I can play it despite the level of difficulty!) My problem is: I can't inprovise jazz, and it's crucial for jazz players to know how to improvise. Can someone please help me? Either tips, links to tips or software for improv is good enough. The only thing I know is how to use 1-3-5-7 chord notes to make a bad jazz solo, which I don't get solos since I can't improvise .Thanks for anyone's help. (I don't need tips on playing piano, and I know 4 part harmony so tell me jazzy stuff )

Just prevent it from starting up in the registry. Use either msconfig or regedit. Please refer to google to find out how

I don't really understand your problem. Maybe you could disconnect the drive each time you shut off?

What Would You Do If There Was No Internet? hmm...
Dooga replied to whyme's topic in Science and Technology
I spend on 1/3 of my life on internet, and another 1/3 sleeping, and you can't stop sleeping, so internet... you can't stop it either -
*You have to have POSITIVE credits to stay active*You lose one credit per day*You get one credit for 300 characters in your post (100 posts with 1 letter each will not even get you one credit)*You don't lose credits before you get hosted. After you get hosted, you lose 1 credit per dayThat's all the basics.

How To Restore Backup Registry if registry encounters a problem
Dooga replied to yusri's topic in General Discussion
You can also back up your registry by typing "regedit" inside the run command, and exporting the keys you want to backup. Also, Symantec has also included some instructions on their site. -
A tip to get 500 posts is to relax, and just start making your own topics. Although 2000 posts seem a long way to go
-
I think he means that the only way you can lose so MANY credits, is if your posts get deleted.
-
These are seldom possible, and has to be discussed privately with the administrator.
-
Your site seems to be suspended due to negative credits. I recommend you to post more and re-activate your site so I can see what's wrong.

Hello new user! Xisto welcomes you! Please check the announcements for the rules, the request area for the request form (after you get enough credtis). Thank you for joining our community.

Credits Per Month? A suggestions to ensure activity
Dooga replied to Darker333's topic in Web Hosting Support
The suggestion: I think we should have a counter that displays how many hosting credits we have leftThe Answer: The number of hosting credits you have left is the number of days you can stay inactive. If you had 20 credits today, and you didn't post, you would have 19 tomorrow. The credits decrease 1 per day. 300 characters in a post would bring it up by one. That means, 2100 characters or more is required for one week (7 days). The counter will never stop, so you must post to stay active. -1 credits (or not posting for 1 day or more after zero) means your hosting is suspended. -30 credits (or not posting for 30 days after zero) means your hosting is deleted automatically. In order to get it back within suspension, you must get +4 credits (or posting 1200 characters in posts after your credits have reached zero) before the counter reaches -30.Suggestion is already one of the features, so topic is closed. -
Let me answer this question. Before, when I joined, everyone could change their custom titles. However, after I became a moderator, I found out that it was not possible to change the titles anymore. This has been fixed. I am not aware that you have to have 500 posts to earn a custom title. For that reason, I will remove my custom title until I have gotten 500 posts, because it's not fair for the members. I will suffer with the members until I finally reached my goal, then I'll put my custom title back! It's only fair! Now, this poll is not necessary because the problem has been cleared. I will lock voting, but I still encourage the people to give some comments by replying.-Dooga

I'm not going to comment about my site visitors, but I do congradulate everyone for being so lucky! Xisto is a very large community that is viewed by numerous countries! This is not surprising at all to me, because after joining such a great community, there is evidently people who will visit the site, not to mention the numerous search engines indexing all the profiles! Unfortunately, I don't get that many countries who visit my site.

Sorry, but the script needs some time to run. I will take note of this problem. Meanwhile, I do not recommend sending emails or instant messages to the administrator, as this will only slow down the process. The administrator will have to manually run the script. Please have your credits maintaning at a high number at least 7 for a few days. If this problem does not get solved, PM me and I will contact the administrator myself.Thank you for your patience.- Dooga
