i have tried using google web accelerator. but i didnt find any difference when browsing without it and when using it.there is totally no use with it. it is not like most other google services. this one is not at all useful. even for low bandwidth connections it is of no purpose. at first i thought it was good and installed it but i was totally disappointed after using it. it just increases the the processes running in your system and make it slow.it totally is a flop.

you can use many servers installed in you local PC to convert it into a server.

yeah.... youtube.com is a very cools site.it is a google owned product. everthing that Google owns does prosper. this is an example.

i would prefer XBOX 360it is more cheap and better than PS3. microsoft has a lot of help and service supports so it is better option.

i certainly prefer books only. reading from the computer screen or any digital screens is very difficult and also a lot health problems. so always are age old paper copy books are the best. books will never lose it interest.

i prefer bluish green color. i am planning to put lens of that color.

i like PHPBB forums. it is free and a lot people are working behind it so a lot activities are happening in the PHPBB world. Their help and Mod service are better than most other forums.

i would prefer HP.it is a much better and standard company than DELL. HP is a lot cheaper than Dell and will lot of extra features. HP rocks!

my very first computer was gifted to me by ma father when i was in my 10th grade. its 6 years now since i got it. i still have the computer safely in my house. it configuration was,intel celeron processorsome compatible motherboard128MB RAM40GB hard-diskno graphics card300W SMPSspeaker setit was a very slow computer but still i love it.it was a decent model when i bought it. now it is nothing compared to modern computers. i will keep that computer till it goes really bad. i still love it!

ubuntu is a free linux OS and it is an excellent OS. i would suggest you to use it. windows wont be lasting for long. soon Linux will take over the world!

i sleep around 7-8 hours during weekdays and around 10 hours during weekends and holidays. i get enough sleep during night so i don't feel sleep during the day time. but sometime very rarely if i don't get to sleep at least for 6 hours a night then i am like you A ZOMBIE

there is surely no quick remedy for weight loss. even if there is any, it wont be a permanent loss. the weight lost will be regained in a short period of time. be careful choosing such medicinal products.

nirmaldaniel,you are certainly spending very less time in sleeping during the night time. and that is the reason why you are feeling very sleepy during your work hours during the day time. you should spend at least 7 - 8 hours of sleeping at night to get a good and a refreshing sleep and rest. this will ensure that your body gets all the rest and energy to work during the day time. if you don't spend time sleeping at night then it will a sleepy affair for you during the day time.not sleeping in a regular and normal manner during night time may also lead to a lot of health problems and i even read some where that you can reduce the chances of heart attack if you practice regular sleeping time during night. it has many other benefits also. if you still cant get enough sleep consult a doctor. he will be able to guide you. a psychiatrist will be the best person you can approach if it is unavoidable. good luck!

My university is a complete residential university and is totally LAN connected through out the campus and the hostels. Already many Intranet sites for services like forums, social networking, radio service, attendance, downloads, suggestions and mail are in place.I would like to develop a site on my own. I already got the permission from the authorities and I am promised that if my site is good then they will host it in their server as an intranet site.But the problem is, I cannot think of a service for my site. If any one could suggest some services, it would be of immense help to me. The services should be very helpful and useful.Thank you!

I do understand , how pathetic a web designer familiar with technologies such as ajax and silverlight, would be , when he hears a high school student claiming to be a web designer.The problem with people starting web designing is, excitement factor i guess. They consider themselves to be competitive web designers, as they know how to put up web pages, which their friends might not. I have seen yahoo page wizards and a couple of other builders.there are a couple of people in my college, who know how to edit templates using some tool like say, dreamweaver. and these guys have turned 'professionals' already. Thank god, their websites reflect their skill levels. they were not good enough to even choose a god enough template !!!!!

I don't think a week without the cell phone would be a great idea. I say this because, a week without your cell phone would not only affect you, but also your friends and family who try to get in touch with you.Recently, i tried something similar. I have a Sony ericcsson w810i. I use my w810i for my music, scheduling and photo capturing . Due to the amount of addiction i developed to my mobile phone, i decided to stay away from it for a week or two.I exchanged my w810i with my friend's Nokia 1100 !!! The 1100 was a basic phone with a few basic features. And i should admit the fact that, messaging was too good with that phone. As i started that week with 1100, initially i missed much sleep. I have a bad habit of listening to songs before going to sleep. so, i was badly missing my w810i's music. All i had in hand was 1100's snake game.As days passed by, i found the snake game to be a good way to pass time. Though it was a very small and simple game ,it was fun . and also , i found the battery of 1100 to be amazingly long lasting. It could hold charge for about a week. The flashlight facility was also neat. And after the week passed by, i got my w810i back. But, now.. i miss the 1100 , for its simplicity !!!!!

I am not sure about what you were saying above. But, i too have heard a different kind of SOFA.Yeah, SOFA is an acronym , for a speech delivery aspect. I came across this word in my communication skills class.When giving an oral presentation, SOFA technique to handle the audience better.SOFA means , Smile, Open, Friendly and Acknowledge...Smile : You have to sport a friendly smile on your face .Open : Have an open posture towards the audience. Give them the confidence to be interactive with you.Friendly : Try to be friendly with the audience.Acknowledge : Whenever the audience interacts with you, acknowledge him in a prompt manner. I am not sure if these rules would help a lot, but still, that is yet another SOFA i know, with respect to the title of the thread, started here...

Well, most of these sites are scam sites. The only intention of them would probably be- to collect you e-mail address , so that you can be heavily spammed- to divert you into some other websites and make you buy their products- to make you download malware, so that data may be thefted from your computer.- to cheat you ( )Nobody gives money for free, on a large setup ,like the Internet. so, better not believe in such sites.

I rarely play games on my pc. And if i ever do, it would be racing games or GTA series. Out of the limited set of games i play, my second favorite game would be NFS Most wanted, next to GTA vice city. NFS Most wanted has easily been the best racing game i have ever played. The graphics are cool and pretty realistic (atleast by my graphic card standards) . And, while racing, we do have kinda realistic experience. After playing the Most wanted version, i tried the demo of NFS Carbon.Really, Carbon was not anything much different from NFS Most Wanted. And it was darker too. It had night races i suppose. But i just liked Most wanted better. As posted above , i too think the game could have been a bit tougher. Especially when it comes to the top 5 blacklists. A couple of blacklists were too easy to beat. Winning against many blacklists, were much more easier than the qualification races itself !!!And one race i did enjoy a lot, were the drag races. That was the part with which i really struggled to win. Took a while for me, to finish the drag races. Finally, the challenge races ... They too are absolutely fun. I thought they were bonus races. But, then cam to know that we had to finish all the challenge races, in order to complete our career. If anyone reading this thread, loves playing racing games, and hasn't tried NFS Most wanted, yet.. I guess you have missed one of the best ever games in NFS series. So, try it out.Now i am waiting to experience pro street. Wonder what Pro street would be like...

The reason for timeouts may be one among the following reasons, Internet Connection : The internet connection you have might be using some kind of a firewall or proxy. So, check if such an access restriction persists. Also, if you have a new firewall installed, check and make sure that , your browser is added to the exceptions list. Also, grant full outbound access to your web browser. Cache : This is one problem, i regularly encounter with my site . Often, i make changes to my site, and upload it. After i update it on the ftp, the changes does not get reflected when i view the url through my web browser. And the culprit here, is my web browser's cache memory. You might have visited the site url before it was hosted actually. And as a result, it would have been stored in your cache memory. Try clearing your browser's cache. And then try visiting the site again. Check with http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ name : well, this might sound silly , (atleast for me) . But as a matter of fact,this works sometimes for me. At times, i try accessing a site called http://www.galcomm.com/ and the site does not show up. but, when i try modifying the address as http://www.galcomm.com/, it works just fine. I do not know the logic behind this , but that is the way i access a few sites . Check through a proxy : If you suspect that you might be behind some firewall, try using a proxy. You can google to get a list of free proxies.
