You're not really paying $600 for 60GB. That's like buying a computer's harddrive for the price of the computer. With the Playstation 3, you're paying for the graphics card, the extremely fast processor, the RAM, and the actual PS3 itself; the 60GB is basically a bonus (unless you bought the cheaper Playstation 3, whereas you get 20GB.)

Harddrives will continue to get bigger in bigger in capacity, but smaller in size. I will be getting a Western Digital 500GB external harddrive for Christmas. Right now I have a Western Digital 160GB harddrive, but since it's almost filled, I'm upgrading big time. And since I got this new iPod accessory sort of like a TiVo that records TV to iPods and other USB mass storage devices. It records good quality video at 3GB per hour, so I'll be glad that harddrives will continue to get bigger in capacity.

To the people that have them on your site: do they affect the way your homepage looks? I know it would probably look way better without any ads, because after all the reason I got Trap 17 is because it had no ads, but my site isn't that well-known anyway so I'm not sure if they'd be worth putting them on there, especially if they affect the professionality and overall look of the homepage.

I think it's annoying how many people are obsessed with Halo 2. I don't see how it's all that fun on multiplayer mode, and I especially don't see how it's that fun playing it Live. Someone explain this to me?I think any war games are fun to play in multiplayer mode, like Medal of Honor or Call of Duty. I used to play Conflict: Desert Storm a lot on Multiplayer too.

The Battle of Jericho by *forgets author* (sorry, but someone's got to know this book.) It really focuses on the realities of teenage life. Anybody read this book? It's about a highschool teenager named Jake who must rise to his own standards by being accepted into a school club, the same club that his father and uncle were in when they were in his school. But he's beaten and tortured during the "initiations" and after a while something very tragic happens...

Rep. Charles Rangel wants to reinstate the Draft. For what? So every teenager turning adult can go over to Iraq and get their heads blown off? I support the war myself, but I think that making tens of thousands of new adults go over to Iraq is completely against our Constitution in every way. It violates our rights to freedom, and could probably do some damage to our economy if nobody was able to go to college (remember that the draft proposed would include men AND women ages 18-42.) If nobody went to college, what do you think would happen? Most jobs would be in extreme demand, with hardly any people to fill them and there would be a shortage on workers since a lot of jobs require certain education. Signing up for any military position is based on one's personal choice and shouldn't be forced upon ANYBODY. What do you guys think? Would you want the Draft reinstated? In my FTP program I save all my settings for logging in to my site. So when I went to log in and it said the password was wrong I was pretty suprised. I don't remember messing with my log in information and I use the same password for basically everything. I need to know how to reset my FTP password. Can anybody help?

I wouldn't drop that thing a foot above my living room carpet. How weak compaired to the Playstation 3.

Yeah the PS3 was really durable. I always would have thought that the Xbox 360 would have been more durable, but I guess not. As for the video, I'm sure there will be a better video out soon with a lot more footage. If you compare the short and long versions of the Xbox 360 videos, you will see what I mean, since the long version of the 360 video is about 20 minutes long compaired to about 4 minutes. Look for the Wii video tomorrow, since it will be released then and should be up sometime that day.

I'm sure most of you have heard of smashmyps3.com, or you've seen or heard about one of the creator's projects. They've also smashed the iPod Photo and Nano, the Xbox 360, and plan to smash the Playstation 3 and the Wii, the day they come out. We know the PS3 comes out in 2 days and they're people wating outsidet their Best Buys already. One of those people are there to smash it in front of everybody who couldn't get their hands on it, for no point at all. It's quite funny actually, and the video should be on the site within the next week, so I'm bookmarking it. What's your guys thoughts about this?

There should be a ton of offers piling up by Christmas time. Last Christmas I got a 160G Western Digital External USB2.0 Harddrive for $89 at (I think) Circuit City.

I can see Google doing something that will combine both Google Video and YouTube. Pretty soon everything will be Google. But the aquisition of YouTube by Google puts it up front farther than Yahoo! and MSN, etc. I think I heard something about Google trying to move in on eBay?

Dell support just plain sucks, just like their computers. My friend has a Dell Dimension 4000 and it got the blue screen of death, twice. I fixed it on my own once because Dell would like to charge him $200 for a Windows disk, so I used a Compaq disk and led to Microsoft about the activation key (I'm great with that kind of stuff.) Well it happened again and I'm left with starting the piece of crap up in Safe Mode, and once again no help from Dell. If you're a firm believer that Dell is just about the greatest computer brand out there, don't believe the commercials you see. They spend billions on ads to screw you over.

I could see myself using 30GB. Definitely not 30GB of only mail, but files and attachments. Doesn't anybody see the advantage of that? That's quite a bit of space.

How many people here are getting Guitar Hero II tomorrow when it comes out? $80 seems like a lot but it'll be worth it.

Honestly I think Norton is crap. Who would drop $80 a year on a software that does basically the same thing as a free anti-virus software? I have CA Antivirus that came with my ISP browser. It works fine and since it's free and it gets the job done, I'm happy with it. Ever since I've had this computer I haven't gotten one virus.

That's crazy. Just don't ever answer the phone if he calls, and if he comes to your house act like you're not home. Just avoid him at all costs, and if he tries to talk to you just tell him you don't want to be friends anymore, and if he still doesn't get the point, tell someone about it.
