i think you make alot of good points there, but the only problem with it is, what about the kids who dont really want to do with their lives? they just take the basic required classes, and nothing else?

the 2 games that i find i cant tear myself away from are spades and texas hold'em both games are good for playing with your friends, spades because it goes pretty quick and you play on teams, and texas hold'em because its just alot of fun to play with friends, especially when theres beer involved

so then what youre saying is if my account is suspended, then i get it into the positive credits (only +.57 or so) then go back into the negatives, my account is re-suspended, and my credits go back to -4?thats confusing :S

i for one was never smelly... lol jkits something that all boys go through right around that age, either you stink when your that age and you get over it, or you stink when your in highschool, and you dont. just be thankful that its now, and not when he gets older because if you stink when you get older, the smell never seems to go away... trust me there were many kids in my highschool that just... smelled :-\

i would have to agree with this, i spent about 2 days working on a website for an uncle for his insurance company, and he paid me about 450$ (US) and that was when i wasnt any good with anything lol... learn html, css, and php, you could really pull in the cash with just those three...

sorry, im not really sure where this would go, as im just starting to hear alot about them and dont know what language theyre in. i had just a few questions tho, What language are .bat files written in? Is there a way to run them without the black box popping up? what are some of the things that you can do with them? i know about ftp stuff, but i havent done much else :S

phpbb is a great forum package, but im currently getting ready to try IPB just to test it out... the only thing that i dont like about phpbb is that im already used to invisionfree, so things are all just a bit different, and that makes things confusing sometimes when im not really sure what im doing

Hi, i had my credits up to +0.47 or so last night (about 8 hours ago) and now theyre down to about -4 again :S has anyone any idea why that would happen? ive rechecked all of my recent posts and none have a warning or anything from anybody that would explain what has happened... so i was just curiousalso, my account has been 'inactive' for a while, and i was just wondering, will it be terminated after 30 days of going negative? or once it reaches -30 credits? because i want to reactivate my account sooon

ill tell you what, if i could, id go back to highschool in a heartbeat. just the idea of nothing to be responsible for (yeah, i said nothing, and i mean that in comparison to what i need to take care of now) i just graduated 2 months ago and already i wish i was back in school. in school, there are people to help you but once you get into the real world everyone wants to screw you over, so forget freetime buddy. the only time i get on the computer is when im unable to sleep because of all the stress im under :S

at least youre getting hours... i NEED the hours because i have bills racked up like none other, but i cant get any hours at work... i average about 2-3 hours a week. i just had a baby, so things arent easy with the amount of hours im getting because i get about 30$ a paycheck (every 2 weeks) if that... and i have about 9K worth of hospital bills so far, not to mention neurologists and physical therapists i need to take my daughter to because of some problems shes having :S

well you see, the problem with some of those power sources, such as hydroelectric, completely ruins an otherwise healthy river environment, i mean think of all the fish that die because they cant get past the dam, and if they get through it, theyre sliced and diced in the turbines. also, wind power plants can completely destroy an ecosystem as well, because they force changes in air currents as well as harming birds and insects, which in turn effect other essential parts of the environment. other than that, i think solar power is the way to gothat and the fact that you can run a diesel engine off of vegetable oil

personnally, when i find that i absolutely have to memorize something word for word, ill set it to a beat and 'sing' it, then when it comes time to recall it, i just sing it the way i would a song. also, i find that when i really study for something, i have a hard time remembering the information that i need, so usually i just pull the info out of my **bottom** and it usually works. i have some skill in bsing through school work, but hey, im graduated now ( with honor roll, thank you very much! )

To download it, go to http://www.mirc.com/ and click 'Download mIRC' in the left nav bar. Now you are at a page with multiple options of where to download. All downloads are essentially the same thing, but I like to download from the host that is closest to me. Alright, now that you have mIRC downloaded, lets get around to installing it. Navigate to wherever you downloaded the program to, or just find mirc62.exe (replacing 62 with the current version, currently the version is 6.2). Double click to run it. The install wizard is pretty self explainatory. At the first window, click next then (after reading the ToS) click I Agree. On the next screen, if this is your first install of mIRC, leave everything as-is, or the Full Install. Click next. On this screen, youll need to specify where you would like to install mIRC to. Personally, I like it in my own section of the computer (C:/documents and settings/yourname/) however it defaults to C:/program files/mirc. Finally, select where you would like the start menu items to be installed, and click Install. Now that mIRC is installed, open it up! Once you get it open, the first thing youll see is going to be a little evaluation box. This can get quite annoying (especially after the '30 day trial' is up. Don't worry though, its free forever, and registering only gets rid of that popup) After you get through that, the first thing you see will be something like this. You don't need to do anything special with that, everything there is sort of, optional but I'll explain each thing. Full Name: Required, but it's ok to BS it, I change mine weekly Email Address: Also required, but again, BS is ok Nickname: This will be your displayed name, try to think of something unique because if someone else has it, you wont be able to use it. Alternative: This is what you will default to if someone else is using your other nickname. Nothing else really needs bothered with, except your server. First of all, there are tons and tons of servers. The server that you can catch me on most of the time is irc.swiftirc.net although there are a bunch of others. I would recommend SwiftIRC for any beginners, because of its small size and also because im there. Ok, so lets get you connected. You should still see a button that says Connect To Server, and beside that a button that looks like a flower. Click on the flower and you'll see this Where it says IRC Network: All, click the arrow. Browse through that list, and if you see something you like, click it, then click Connect To Server. If you dont see anything that you like, Click the 'Add' Button. If You clicked the 'Add' Button, this section is for you, otherwise, skip to the next part. Now I know there looks like alot of confusing stuff there, but trust me it's not to bad. First is the description, it can really be anything you want it to be, but i use the network name (such as SwiftIRC for irc.swiftirc.net) The IRC Server is the important part. If you couldnt find anything you were interested in before, try irc.swiftirc.net The port should stay the same (6667) and group and password mean nothing to you Finally, click 'Add' and then click Connect To Server in the next window. Ok, now that you are all back to me, and everyone is connected to a server, lets get you into a channel. The easiest way is to think of one word that describes your interests, then prefix it with a # (that is the usual symbol to designate a channel) Now type /join #word (for instance, /join #music) On some smaller networks, there are alot of open channels, so you would be better to type /list this will give you a full list of all the channels that people have in them, as well as their topics and the number of people inside. If you hadn't noticed yet, mIRC commands tend to start with / The / symbol makes mIRC recognize that youre trying to do something, and therefore doesn't send the text to the server. Now that your'e in a channel, try talking. Yes, it's easy, just type your text into the editbox at the bottom of the channel window, and press enter. Now's when the fun starts. Try typing /me dances and pressing enter. Also try using ctrl+k with your text (allows you to add color) as well as ctrl+b (bold) and ctrl+r (reverse text, or black bg with white text)

hey jennifer, ive been taking a ton of pictures of my daughter since she was born (shes 3 weeks today) and i have to say, while posed pictures are nice, the "candid" pictures are even better, they really seem to capture the true babyness (if thats a word) of her, and even when it comes to pictures of older people, pictures taken unexpectedly always seem to turn out the best :)oh and becuase im fairly sure youll ask this, i use my camera tons, i dont have much experience with film cameras (aside from disposable) and i have a kodak easyshare c300, which really is easy

ive been away for a while, as my daughter was just born a few weeks ago. firstly, i just want to let everyone know that things are going great with her, aside from a bit of nerve damage in her right shoulder. if you would like to see pics, theyre available here http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ her name is Stevie Lin and was born July 14th at 10:36 PM anyways, i was just looking for someone to talk to, the mother and I are still together, but she has some anger problems, and it makes it really hard for me to deal with it when she gets very frustrated, and i really dont have the option of talking to her about any of MY frustrations, and she always expects me to help her through her problems. I really feel as though im carrying around not only my worries, but all of hers as well, because she sort of pins them on me. anyways, over the past 2-3 weeks, ive been really losing sleep. ill go 2-3 days without sleeping, then crash for 18 or 20 hours because i really cant get any rest from her problems. Ive always been the type of person that can deal with alot and i like to think that im very patient, but seeing her get so frustrated makes it alot harder on myself. making things worse, i quit smoking about 5 months ago, and i get very strong cravings for cigarettes when i get frustrated, and its not very easy, seeing as how ill be 18 in about 2 weeks, and im not sure that ill be able to stay off them im not really sure what im asking here, but just knowing that someone is there will definately help anyways, for any of you who have any medical knowledge, the nerve problems shes having are called erbs palsy and shoulder dissocia (sp?) basically, from what i can tell, this is a 'bruise' on a nerve that runs from the neck to the arm under the right clavicle. This is actually quite common during birth, especially that of large babies ( my daughter was 9 lbs 4 oz ) and is caused by a stretching or twisting of the neck, which can cause the nerve to be pulled/stretched. if anyone has any more information, i would really appreciate it, im reading everything i can on the subject, however a neurologist from the cleveland clinic said that within 3-4 months, everything should be functioning at a normal level ( thank god )
